    Being a cod fan since the 2nd one and I still am regardless of the last 2 atrocious entries.The only thing that saves this game same as last years is the campaign which is good and that’s about it.the mp is hot garbage: awfull movement,awfull maps,awfull killstreaks and to top it off the sbmm which is the last thing that bothers me. Veníamos de un gran juego que se llama Moder Warfare, con una campaña al nivel, un multijugador de los mejores de la historia de la saga Call Of Duty y ademas un WarZone que ha desbancado a grandes juegos como Fortnite o PUBG y hacéis esto, llamado Cold War. De todo el juego, solo se salva la Campaña ya que creo que es lo único que está al nivel de la¿Que ha pasado esta vez Activision? Veníamos de un gran juego que se llama Moder Warfare, con una campaña al nivel, un multijugador de los mejores de la historia de la saga Call Of Duty y ademas un WarZone que ha desbancado a grandes juegos como Fortnite o PUBG y hacéis esto, llamado Cold War. De todo el juego, solo se salva la Campaña ya que creo que es lo único que está al nivel de la serie, pero el Multijugador... ¿Que ha pasado con el Multijugador? Unas animaciones penosas, un "feeling" que parece mas un Counter Strike 1.0 que no un juego actual, un sonido pésimo... (¿A quien se le ocurrió mutear el sonido cuando te matan?) o las animaciones cuando te matan, parecen sacadas de un circo.
    Todos sabemos que la parte multijugador de la saga CoD es la que hace que estemos meses jugando a un juego pero este ColdWar no esta al nivel de nada.
    Lo siento, pero de lo peor de la saga.

    Destacable: La campaña.
    Negativo: Todo el resto.

    What happened this time Activision? We came from a great game called Moder Warfare, with a campaign at the level, a multiplayer of the best in the history of the Call Of Duty saga and also a WarZone that has displaced great games like Fortnite or PUBG and you do this, called Cold War. Of the whole game, only the Campaign is saved since I think it is the only thing that is at the level of the series, but the Multiplayer ... What happened to the Multiplayer? Some painful animations, a "feeling" that looks more like a Counter Strike 1.0 than a current game, a terrible sound ... (Who thought to mute the sound when they kill you?) Or the animations when they kill you, they seem taken from a circus.
    We all know that the multiplayer part of the CoD saga is what has been playing a game for months, but this ColdWar is not at the level of anything.
    Sorry, but the worst of the saga.

    I really should've skipped this one. I just bought the last COD and really liked the campaign. The campaign for this one is really bad. Should've saved my money and just replayed the last COD.

    Matchmaking seems to push and pull into matches that are way too easy then way too hard. The push and pull makes you feel a win is undeserved and a loss unfair. It's very hard to see opponents everything just kinds of blends together visually.     It's very hard to see opponents everything just kinds of blends together visually. They must have known this was an issue since several attachments have the ability to "spot" or show an enemy nametags easier.

    Visually the game looks like the weapons and players are plastic toys. I don't know if this was apart of the 80s vibe, but it looks cheap. The fidelity is nice the guns look good, just they look like toys. The animations are okay, but the step up from MW2019 which released a year ago makes them seem "last-gen".

    The single-player story was okay, and I don't play Zombies. So the package was a real wash. The only bright side is I can use the Black Ops weapons in Warzone. So it feels like a 60 dollar battle pass for Warzone.    … Expand

    another broken game. I like using bots but that aspect of the game is broken. after each match you have to back out to main screen and go through the whole process of setting up again.

    The hell is the point of creating a casual experience and then having SBMM. At least with other MW scorestreaks were earned appropriately after stringing together 3-4 kills instead of sitting at the back of the map getting "Eliminations" by spraying and praying.

    This is the last and final entry of Treyarch CoD for me.

    Zombies has 1 mode for three months that they have put 0 additional content into with a run of the mil call of duty campaign    … Expand

    I really like the more realistic game that came right before this, (Modern Warfare). This game is doodoo , but fun and pretty if you just want unrealistic run and gun game play. I'll just keep playing MW.

    This game is absolutely diabolical! The campaign is atrocious with stupid puzzles! The aiming and reloading is botched! You can't reload while aiming down sights anymore which gets you killed in zombies all the time! This is by far one of the worst cod games I've played! Regret purchasing it! But never again

They used to only get 2 years and they still made good games, but this is probably the worst Black Ops game to date.     Cold War on PS4 is awful. Feels like beta. Single player has many bugs (including deleting progress). Multiplayer is also very buggy, textures loading very slow so most of the game it's blurry and ugly. Even objects geometry takes time to load. It's just terrible. Zombies also suffer from textures popup and in addition framerate dips drastically. That's the last COD I bought. I payed forCold War on PS4 is awful. Feels like beta.     Graphics from 2015. The only place where they actually invested is motion capture for characters, who cares about that? People buy this game for multiplayer. I won't even mention the attempt at cloning Battlefield with Fireteam mode, it's not even a clone, that's how bad it is. Do yourself a favor and don't waste your money on this AA title.

    As 6v6 MP only player I considered MW 2019 absolutely the worst CoD ever created. It had terrible maps with too many angles, terrible doors, infinite claymores with restock, no dead silence perk, TTK too fast, camping spots(even remastered maps were ruined with them), strong SBMM in casual playlist, washed out    My whole review is only about MP, I never play anything else in CoD...

    The last thing I ever wanted from CoD series is realism - the only reason I buy CoD is that it's casual fast paced arcady shooter, so I consider Cold War being huge improvement(to me every single CoD is masterpiece compared to last year MW). It's fast paced, maps are better(but not perfect), perks are more balanced, TTK is little bit slower(but still quite fast), there is just 1 land mine with long CD, game actually has some colors, camping is not the only way to play and it can be countered. It's CoD again and not Insurgency clone made for CoD haters and realism seekers. First 10 hours I had flawless experience - it reminded me times of BO1 and BO2 which are my most favorite CoD games. I wanted to go for 8+ rating but then thick skill based matchmaking kicked in and it ruined my experience with game little bit(and little bit more). Hard campers and sweats started to often fill my lobbies again(but at least whole game is not designed only for them). There should be casual playlist with weak or none SBMM and ranked with this kind of SBMM with ranks and extra rewards. Also on some maps there are flashing textures(sand on Satelite, mountains on Cartel). This was not happening on beta. There are also small bugs here and there like unlockable calling cards are not saved when you pick them. Another problem is lack of 6v6 maps on release so for now its like 6.5/10 for me untill everything is fixed. After that and when they add more maps it would be like 7.5/10. If they add also ranked and nerf SBMM in casual playlist I would go even for 8.5/10 easily. No performance problems at all on my side, runs exactly as MW (i7-7700k+1080Ti), 80-100 fps 1440p maxed out(tested MP only)

    EDIT: Changed rating from 7 to 2 just because of SBMM... It's not objective but I just can't do this anymore. I like game itself in general (much more than MW) but I absolutely refuse to sweat each and every single game to my maximum potential just to keep 1,2+ k/d in CASUAL playlist. I am not ranked player in any game - I HATE e-sport and ranked tryhard-meta trend, only reason I was playing COD was because it's casual MP game and it's not anymore. Game offers absolutely no choice in this matter, no ranked vs quick match playlist, there is only ranked without rank. Burn in hell for ruining this casual MP series and otherwise good game with system like this. I hope at least Battlefield will never give up on completly random server list system... I always liked COD more but this is just unbearable. Game itself decide who and when will do well or terrible in each match, not player skill. You had 2 good matches? Bad for you, next 2 you will be annihilated... You suck in 2 matches? Well, here is your candy - you will be rewarded with some easy game next. This is not even multiplayer, it's just singleplayer with adaptive difficulty with players carefully picked instead of bots.    … Expand

    Zombies: The biggest change is that you can now leave whenever you want. Map is not innovative or fun, just the same old zombies with very minor changes.     Multiplayer: skilled based matchmaking, people abusing meta guns, constant lag and stuttering. Movement feels clunky and most maps are designed around chokepoints, which leads to one team just holding and waiting while the other team just spawns in and dies. Not enjoyable at all.

    The zombie mode is amazing, the campaign is fairly okay. The multi-player is infuriating due to this **** SBMM. CoD MW 2019 has a far supperior MP.
    Unless you wanna pay 60$ for a zombie mode, don't buy this game

Que si que el modern warfare eel multijugador es malo pero el de este juego es insufrible de verdad sin decir que cuesta 80 dolares.
    Coclusion le ruego porfavor, porfavor se los pido no se lo comrpren porque se van a pasar la campaña y lo van a dejar de jugar.

    Gdyby nie tryb zombie to równie dobrze pieniądze wydane na tą grę mógł bym zwyczajnie wyrzucić przez okno.
    Jestem fanem serii black ops i grałem w każdą część i uważam że ta jest najgorsza i w dodatku nie ma nawet co porównywać z modern warfare 2019, bo mw jest o 1000 razy lepszy

I love Black ops but this is not a finished game movement is clunky at best and aiming... well ya just point a shoot maybe you'll get hit markers but most likely not..     Campaign is boring, all multiplayer maps are identical, overpowered weapons, horrible framerates in cutscenes. The only part about this game that's enjoyable is zombies and theres only one map for zombies

    Just finished campaign on veteran, story is thin, short, fights are mostly annoying. Their idea of veteran difficulty is to pun you in the open with all enemies shot at you, teammates do not kill nobody almost, they just shot random. I am no expert on Cod but finished in 6 hrs on veteran.     Not worth it at all. The gameplay is bad in the story mode and multiplayer as well, the only positive thing about this game is zombies witch is actually fun. The campaign is poor, the story is boring and the characters aren't anything special at all

    First of all.. The Gameplay is not so bad. The movement is ok and the weapons have a good feedback. But what about the graphics? It is 2020, but the graphic is really really bad. And why are thy selling the Game for 60,-? That are the two biggest critics on the game. The price and the bad graphic. Why should i pay that much money for a game that looks like a game from years ago.

    What happened bud. Auto aim for console is practically an aim bot. Maps are fine but spawn killing is already outrageous. Guns are overall fine as long as you’re not fighting a team of mp5-ers. I’m not a game critic but I’m more disappointed in this than I was mw. Feels like a 60 dollar zombies game

    Every season this game gets more and more problems. It‘s just a scam what Treyarch and Activision is doing with this franchise and their community. Buggy, **** matchmaking but a few imfluencers still support this, just because they‘re payed by activision.

    If I could use a word to describe Black Ops Cold War, I will use "DISASTER". It's absolute downgrade since MW. Campaign is fairly not bad, Zombie mod is fun, but multiplayer...     Since the release of the alpha, my expectations were really low and I absolutely hated it but since it was an alpha I was hoping for some serious changes and improvements. Unfortunately what we got was a complete disappointment.     Feels like s Hugh downgrade from modern warfear in every aspect. To compere mw to cw is like going from battlefield 4 to Star wars, except the graphics feel more like something you would expect on a ps3 game.

Multiplayer is a step down from MW and the graphics are horrible. It breaks immersion when you’re shooting an enemy and a big health bar pops up above them and blocks the view behind them. Also the pattented treyarch 3lane maps with 90 degree turns every 20 meters compound the problem even more. Most gun fights happen on the range    MP feels like its 5 years late.     Due to the scorestreak system your first 26 ranks are utter stupidity. You spawn take 2 steps and die to a airstrike, chopper, chopper gunner, artillery strike or cruise missile then respawn and the same thing happens again. If you thought that killstreaks were annoying in MW in this its 10 times worse.
    Also Moscow and Miami maps are for some reason absurdly large for 6v6. They are probably larger than Grazna Raid in MW and its sized for 10v10. Also they are full of treyarch 90 degree turns after 20 meters. You never know where the battle is and the spawns spin like roulette tables in vegas.
    Combined Arms is almost enjoyable but in armada the amount of turret boats should be reduced to 1 per side and team in assault gamemode.

    If you only buy Call of Duty for the Multiplayer like most do. Please do not waste your money. I know you will read this and still buy it just to find out. Just remember I have warned you

Maps designed with all the nooks and crannies for the campers of the night. Every game consists of people hiding behind a well placed object and a time to kill so quick there is no reaction time. Blink and you're gone. For a series that prides itself in realism, the quick scoping is again, a joke. There is nothing original in this series and cod is becoming like the fast and furious of the gaming world. Clunky movement, poor weapons and maps designed for players who prefer hide and seek (and camp). Cod hasn't been challenged like this in years with the fortnite franchise along with various other shooters such as Apex and Battlefield. Soon this game will be seen as retro with the ever changing environment of FpS games. For me, this is one better left alone. Save your money. As well as the price tag this game comes with a heavy price towards storage. Way upwards of the 150gig mark. I felt this was cod's chance to revive the franchise and after the success of the last modern warfare franchise I was hoping it would. Sadly, it has done the opposite.     Gun flow is fun but that is about it. Trash maps like the last call of duty but with an even smaller selection. Around 3 guns that can actually be used. Skill based match making is the worst it has ever been. Terrible game overall.

    the multiplayer is the worst, most unfinished multiplayer ever. the weapon balance is EXTREMELY off. the maps are abosulte trash, there is an extreme lack of content, and the SKILL BASED MATCH MAKING makes the game extremely sweat and very unplayable.

    The zombies is very enjoyable and the campaign is great. those are the only redeeming qualities

    Multiplayer, guns are op and developers nerf the guns that are already bad instead of the guns which run the show, graphics are terrible and maps feel uninspired.
    Zombies is alright and is very forgetable and buggy.

I can go 26 and 10 then get in a lobby full of tryhards who have nothing else to do but cheese their way to win. There are very few maps, and the layouts for most maps need series tweaking. The weapons are limited, customization was initially non-existent. I hated the multiplayer experience so I played zombies. Which is fun, when it works. Connection problems, long loading times, and having a 70% chance of being thrown into a game in progress (like 10 rounds in to a 20 round game), oh and I’ve never been able to successfully load into an endless zombies game.

    The game is unfinished, textures are plastic and low detail, menus and customization and simplified not as an aesthetic choice, but seemingly because there was no time to finish them. The guns all feel the same-y except for the ones that are horribly balanced,

    Paying full price for a game that has not improved or been optimized since the beta is garbage. Yes there are growing pains at the launch of any online game, but the levels of jank and “let’s just get it out and we’ll patch it later” is unacceptable. They are punishing the people who are the most hyped for their games by shooting out an unfinished mess. Maybe this game will be worth playing in 6 months and 15 more patches, but by then they’ll be halfway through shooting out next years unfinished turd.

    Terrible netcode/hit detection/weapon balance. I don't know if it's related to sbmm matching players between far locations, but the netcode is pure trash. You can change the weapon to double the bullet velocity, it will help, but you still have situations where you can kill or die to enemies that are not in the screen anymore. Sometimes you hit the players a lot of times but it's just notTerrible netcode/hit detection/weapon balance. I don't know if it's related to sbmm matching players between far locations, but the netcode is pure trash.     Graphics are horrible and the guns feel like air soft guns. Honestly such a bad game. I literally have been playing Minecraft and sea of thieves just to avoid playing this game. I wish I could get a refund honestly. Waste of 60 bucks. Black ops 2 is the best. Modern Warfare is even better than this game.

    Overall good game but the Skill Based Matchmaking makes the game honestly unplayable. I don’t want to compete and sweat every single match. The spawn areas are also broken; I spawn in where not even 2 steps later, without even able to shoot, die. It’s not enjoyable or fun. Until they fix the spawn areas and remove Skill Based Matchmaking I’m giving it a 2/10.

Fix the broken spawns, movement, stutter, bugs, make it skill based (matchmaking is the worst; matching you based on previous match performance and does not let you improve) and then we might have something to talk about. jesus i really regret the 40 euros (yes i regret the discount) i spent.

    1/10 - Vehicles are still just a gimmick regardless of the mode, they feel odd and clunky. It‘s possible to shoot down a tank with rifles easily. SBMM:
    1/10 - It is far to easy to downgrade your skill level. Just kill yourself often enough to get better lobbies. This reverse boosting leads to frustrating lobbies for average players who do not grind at least 6 hours a day.

    Character Design:
    On a scale of 1-10? A zero.
    The character Design in this game looks like a LEGO Version of USA versus the evil Russian. The colours, the details - almost any charakter looks awfull. Even the ones you have to buy. The weapons:
    4/10 - They feel balanced but!! DMRs are WAY to powerfull in this game. 95% of the weapons are straight MW2019 clones. There ist still the M4, MP5, MP7, Uzi and so on but with slightly different names. The Skills:
    3/10 It really shouldnt be possible to have a dead silence perk active all the time. It was perfectly balanced in MW2019 by charging „dead silence“.

    The Spawns:
    2/10 - Its way to easy to get spawnlocked/spawncamped in this game. Spawnflips are way too often with remaining camping enemy players on both sides. So you get farmed as soon you spawn fairly often.    … Expand

    The game has so many inconsistencies. SBMM is horrible. I can't play for any length of time because it's just not enjoyable. One game your gun is shooting Lazer beams of pure death and you can't be stopped, then it shoots marshmallows for 5 or 6 games, then layzers again.

    "Have to brain? Use TAC-9!" Developers seem to absolutely forget what weapon balancing even mean. Spawns on maps are terrible.     Yikes, absolute sad mess of a game for the price they charge. Glitches, text mistakes, overpowered guns, **** net code and too much more to type. Stay away till they fix some of it and try to salvage this turd of a cod

    The game is insulting. I already asked for a refund on this.
    The game is awful. Gameplay, AI, it's just insulting how bad it is. The campaign is shorter than ever.
    It's impossible to play multiplayer, the connections and the dc's amount are tremendous.
    For them to ship a game like this is tells how much respect they have for their audience.

    Worst cod mp I've ever played. Zombies and Campaign are cool tho. Mp feels like it was never meant to be any good and its so clunky. Since cod is traditionally a mp based game I'm giving 1 star because it socks so bad.

    Complete trash just like modern warfare last year. Its all about 3 lanes and funneling through the choke points, cant climb on objects that are waste high, no sniping spots. Its literally APEX but on COD.garbage. Returned after 2 hours and got $27 credit. Do not waste your money. COD is dead.

    Buggy as **** in too many areas, especially with the settings. I stopped buyin' Call of Duty games until recently, but no more after Snorezone and Cold Bore.

    It gets a 1 because the graphics, but the balancing in this game is just ass. It pairs you with much better players than players on your level, So skillbased matchmaking has ruined cod forever for me. It's just not fun. Bring it back to mw2/black ops 1/2 era..

    Fun is just non existent in this game.

It looks mildly worse graphically, it plays worse, it sounds significantly worse almost like you are playing with water in your ears the entire time.     Game is broken ! Lot of bugs ! The theme is good but so few modes, maps and guns make the Multiplayer repetitive , don´t waste your time with this crap , feels like a plastic downgrade compared with COD MW ! Also SBMM ruins the matches !

    The games a disgrace. I've been playing since the release. There hasn't been a day since the release of season one since the servers haven't played up. This game is unplayable. I have an average of 80 mb connection yet my player is gun has been jumping around and spiralling in circles. I get an average of two games per night where this doesn't happen. It just shows how little AAA companies listen to what their audience wants. I will never purchase another black ops related game ever again. I thought bops 4 was horrible? Atleast it was playable.     Миссия "сломанная челюсть", когда прилетаешь на вертолёте в деревню – отключается геймпад. В мультиплеере тоже такое было. Интерфейс забагованный. Ужас.

Mid game nerf is also an annoying thing that makes the game even more unfair for good players as well as if you’re wanting to move around or use a gun that is not a tac rifle. Activision once again proves they are incapable of creating fair MP games as of late. Health is also supposedly been buffed compared to MW2019, but they also buffed the damage on base weapons. The game was decent after the second patch, but last few days have been just cancer. My aim is completely off over night just like on Modern Warfare a while back.… Expand

    Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War ends up mirroring what the Call of Duty franchise offered last year, with some new additions that are also welcome, especially for long-term fans. While being set during a very intense period, the campaign ends up erring for its disappointing longevity, even though the value of repetition is intrinsic to it. Zombies are back in style, while multiplayer gains an excellent new mode, but here it errs again for the arsenal's lack of variety.

    While Cold War is a part of a series I would have said that I loved, I can’t fully embrace it now knowing that this work is trucking in harmful stereotypes via patriotic-tinged gameplay. A decent CoD multiplayer experience will likely emerge from the currently-underwhelming Cold War, but I’m going to seriously consider whether that gameplay is worth enduring (and supporting) the rest.
