    A ridicolous clone of Call of Duty without a single player campaign sold in a store (battle.net) without the historic Call of Duty community... Just crap, leave it at Blizzard / Activision

    You don't have to be a rocket scientist to realise how trash this game is just take a glance at the user scores.     No campaign combined with a futuristuc setting it feels like Activision backtracked from last years excellent ww2 and just threw together black ops 4 at the very last minute.

    Most of the maps are remastered maps from previous games. Next to no customization. Multiplayer is literally just a spawn camp fest/nightmare. Buy Red Dead 2 and forget this nonsense.

    First of all don't waste your money for this garbage game. All this game is a copy and paste from BO3 and Other Black ops titles.. Love the Battle royal But no single player? come on, Lack of Custom in Multiplayer 5 guns for each class not much Customization going on in the Multiplayer mode just isn't worth 60$ Seams like Call of duty is making more money off Copy and paste and somethingFirst of all don't waste your money for this garbage game.     $60 for a multiplayer that lost its identity, zombie mode which is even more cryptic than the last, and a battle royale fad that Activision thinks it will be hip and relevant years down the road.

    You tell me if this is "worth" $60

    The single player is a really poor version of the one in rainbow six, its like 2 hours tops. In multiplayer gameplay is exactely the same that has been since mondern warfare, its only interesting part would be battle royal, and its only one map, if you are ok with paying $60 for a single map battle royal map but it, if not stay away

    This is horrible. There are more cheaters than legit players. This game has ZERO anti cheat technology. Reports are being ignored, Nazi flag emblems also. The gameplay is very unprecise, the classes dont make any difference they just confuse. I am glad I bought it via g2a, because this isnt worth more than 10$.

    The league doesnt work AT ALL. I waited for half an hour - no game found.

The regular Multiplayer is boring and repetitive. The maps are about the same as the last game, with a fresh coat of paint.

    The worst part of this game is that it requires a 50 GB patch to play. That makes the physical copy pointless. You can play multiplayer and Zombies with bots and splitscreen offline. But what's the point of having any of that if you need Internet to play? Not everyone has good internet, and it's pathetic how anti-consumer the developers are. The CODs before WWII didn't required internet. I don't recommend this game at all. Internet required games are a disgrace    … Expand

    Treyarch is completely out of touch and I am not buying another game from them. This is a complete joke. And on top of all of this, they have the goal to charge 60 dollars for this garbage and then charge 10-20$ just some ugly useless emblems and camos.

    As I said, this is not call of duty.

    Without story mode this call of duty is CALL OF **** First important thing for each games is story ! Real call of duty is MWF series , with deep story , with soap , MacMillan , Captain Price , Ghost and ......

    This is a boring, less than same old same old, sad excuse for a COD game. It is an insult to the first person heritage and should be a 29.99 game on steam. All that negative cannot be be overcome by what is well written smooth, quick to load code. You can get into the action fast. Unfortunately there is not much action. To be honest I would rather play ET on ATARI then play this game.

    However good the game is when you continually get "Connection interrupted" on each blackout game. If you can't play the game then the game's not worth ****

    I traded the game because it froze and crash my Ps4 aĺl the time, error CE-34878.
    Bo4 doesn't function, i wish i had something positive to say .

    Stock 2 and annihilator break competitive. Treyarch refuses to remove GA'd weapons and abilities out of competitive. Pubs have so many OP weapons and attachments it's unplayable. Treyarch doesn't care about competitive multiplayer at all.

    I pre-ordered this game from Gamestop and paid for it. Now that I discovered that there is no single-player campaign, I will of course cancel my order. No sale. I am so disappointed right now, I had been waiting for this title for a long time. Shameful!

    There is no campaign mode. Is this some kind of joke? This should not be accepted in the gaming community. Paying $60 for an online game with no offline gameplay is ridiculous. Don't let this become a thing.

    No campaign and they add in insane amounts of microtransactions after launch so everyone praises it and everyone buys it but then they add gambling systems which prey on people with addictive tendencies. Disgusting... just disgusting

I had a lot of hope for BO4, but the removal of campaign mode for battle royale clearly shows who they're catering too. They only care about the 10 year olds, and not about us veteran players.     It’s not that I can’t respect it — it seems to offer decent value in that it’s essentially three different types of shooter in one package, but aside from the new Blackout mode, I’ve had significantly better experiences from many of its competitors. And honestly, Blackout’s main competition is a free-to-play game. It may be better than Fortnite in my opinion, but sixty dollars better? I’m not entirely convinced about that, and without a decent singleplayer campaign attached, it’s a pretty hard sell for anyone who isn’t already a fan.

    Despite its generic title Black Ops IV feels like a fresh start for Call of Duty. The multiplayer and the zombie mode is very much the same as always, but with Blackout, Treyarch takes everything that is good with Player Unknown's Battleground and makes it better.
