    Bullets per minute has an insanely fun gameplay loop that will never get old. The whole premise is that anything you do in the game (dodging, using abilities, and shooting), has to be on the beat with the song, which is indicated by a triangle which acts as a crosshair.
    All the gun's are very weighty and sound amazing paired with a fantastic heavy metal sound track.

    It's a great rouge like with a bunch of different abilities, guns, and other traditional rouge like elements, and a new bank system which I thought was a neat idea.
    The soundtrack in bpm by far has one of the best sound tracks I have ever heard with 11 different songs, each area and boss having its own song.
    My biggest problem was how some enemies can blend in with the environment due to the styled graphics, which is not the most appealing but I got used to it after some time.
    I played this on a ps5 and it ran very smoothly, but there were few times where the game would crash and it would reset my progress to the starting area of the level. (It would not reset the entire run, just the level you are on).
    The game has no need for a story, the only reason I am spending so many hours on this game is it's fast paced game play and a 10/10 soundtrack.    … Expand

    BPM is probably the most mechanically satisfying game you will ever play. Originally seeps through every aspect of this unique experience. Even its most basic core mechanic redefines the way the player approaches first person shooter gameplay, as every shot, dodge and reload must be in time with the music.     Great idea, pretty nice visual style (especially Asgard Crypts), and of course very cool soundtrack.
    Sometimes because of style (Svartalfheim), eyes are getting tired. But still, this game is amazing

    As with most roguelikes, BPM: Bullets Per Minute is one of those games that you will either love over time or hate immediately and shelve for other things. The variable is within the random generation and contending with whether the game wants to throw you a bone or not. Aside from this, BPM is a solid meld of the rhythm action and FPS genres, combining an excellent metal soundtrack with solid gunplay that has a lot to offer, if you can break the stubbornly difficult surface.

    BPM: Bullets Per Minute is a fast-paced and intense shooter stripped down to only the very basics, all of which is meant to focus you in on the core mechanic of staying on beat. Fortunately, it works beautifully well and creates a fun and addicting gameplay experience that stands above some minor flaws.
