Do give yourself a few hours, because the game was made to feel very difficult at the beginning - I am not sure why they had to do that since it might put some people off - don't worry, the frustration level goes from 8 to 3 after the first boss.

I often wonder why we don't get more games like this, but now that I am 20 hours into the game, I understand - it's bloody difficult to create a properly balanced masterpiece.

    pros:
    -stunning visual atmosphere
-extremaly well designed levels, with hidden paths and shortcuts
-bosses hit hard, most of the time youre dead in one combo or two-three consecutive shots
-that thrill when venturing a new place, its not dks2 when it all felt kinda easy and replayable, now you really care not to die
-how about constantly changing world (which is not just a visual day/night cycle)
    -and side quests ?
    -and totally messed up plot
-or an undiscovered insight (kinda humanity-like) stat ??

    cons
    -ridiculously loading times (30-40s)
-some weapons seems poor in terms of 2nd version - a small sword turning into a greatsword seems kinda cheesy compared to a sword which put into a gravestone makes a greathammer
-health vials system - its easy to get rid of all of them during couple of attempts to a boss fight which makes you go back and grind them

overall its a truly masterpiece, a game that can easily get a GOTY title and be remembered for decades. dont ruin your game, dont read any plot spoilers about it, dont look on forums for walkthrough - just play, you'll hate it and love it. exactly like dks 1 :)

Great game, really enjoying it so far! It has some elements that souls players have come to love but I find it a little more foregiving for new players (lots of blood vials left on enemies for instance) and with the addition of health regeneration per hit.

Bloodborne is a great twist on the soulslike genre, from software really knows how to spice it up from time to time.

The game really brings you into the world, witch by the way is superb and really damn abnormal. The bossfights are all intense and different, bringing something new and delicious to the plate.

Other than that I have a few bits of advice for new players having difficulty 1) at the start when in Iosefka's clinic, (1st room you spawn in, it is normal to have no weapon)READ EVERYTHING! (grey messenges on the floor are a controls tutorial) This is NOT a game where ignorance of your surroundings will be rewarded in fact, it will be punished 2) Patience is essential. I cannot stress this point enough. You WILL die. I die. We ALL die. 3) Keen observation and analyzation of the enemies, their patterns, weaknesses and your surroundings is a must. 4) Don't be GREEDY! If you have enough blood echoes (currency) to level up, buy items etc. go back to the Hunter's Dream (central hub area, accessed by pressing X at any blue lantern with little guys coming out of the ground under it)and DO IT! 5) Run past enemies, dodge (press R3 to create a lock on enemies, when said lock is visible quick dodges may be performed by pressing O and the direction you need to go in{this takes stamina, green bar under red health bar}) if you have to. Once you start leveling up your character it gets much easier and more enjoyable! 6) READ! When in the menus, for example, by reading the bottom of the screen you will find that you may often be able to press the R3 button{right thumbstick pushed inward}this will create a highlighted cursor that when moved over menu symbols will give a description of their meaning/function. 7) This game has faith in you, it believes you have the intelligence, the will, to survive, to persevere, to overcome trying obstacles without someone telling you where to go and how to get there from start to finish, as do I. Good luck, I hope this helps you out, and, may the good blood guide your way. -Devin Expand

Conclusion: Even with it's flaw of slow loading screen, this game deserves a 10 out 10 and is EASILY, and I say EASILY one of the best game for this generation so far. It has action, adventure, swordplay, shooting mechanics, dungeon crawling genre mixed in, and that old school game flavor of "skill required" to beat (or like demon souls and dark souls to make it easy to understand if you never played Contra and Ninja Gaiden). THIS IS A MUST BUY, and worth getting a PS4 just to play this game. DO NOT SHY AWAY from the difficulty, it will hook you in.

Absolutely incredible, as a huge fan of the Souls series I can safely say that this game has definitely lived up to the hype. The visuals, sounds, music , atmosphere, everything is pretty much perfect. I have played for around 25 hours now and there is no end in sight, each area is full of secrets and little shortcuts to explore.

I was worried that the charm of the series would be lost

I have played for around 25 hours now and there is no end in sight, each area is full of secrets and little shortcuts to explore.

I was worried that the charm of the series would be lost when the director said that they were trying to open the game up to a wider audience but I am happy to say that I'm not sure what he meant by that because the difficulty and the satisfaction of beating a boss after it has wrecked you several times is still there. I find this game to be more of a challenge than Dark Souls 2, especially with the removal of the Estus Flask mechanic that regenerates at the bonfires. You now have a finite number of healing items that have to be bought or looted from enemies.

The only downsides I can see are the long loading times, they're often up to 30 seconds long. It's really not bad enough to take a point off my final score but I'm glad to hear that they're working on a patch to reduce them.

Overall if you are a fan of Demon's and Dark Souls then this is simply a must buy, you cannot miss this game.

Although not a Dark Souls game, its design and tone are of a similar vein. Its sprawling gothic environments transport you to the hopeless, plague ridden town of Yarhnam, where as a lone hunter you will navigate its harrowing perils and unforgiving enemies, dangling on a single thread between life and death. The artfully dark character design is much improved from its predecessors on the next gen console, hair in particular seems to have a real life of its own as it billows and moves like ripples of water. The graphics themselves are not game changing however they are effective enough to breathe real life and character into the game, setting just the right tone. The AI is also much improved, movements are smooth and exaggerated giving you a real sense of the supernatural strength behind your enemies attacks. Although the enemies do become predictable to a sense it doesn't make them less dangerous or the game less challenging, their attacks vary often, and a single mistake can cost you dearly.

The game does have a few drawbacks however but not enough in my opinion to write it off completely. Unfortunately Bloodborne has inherited the age old struggle of Dark Souls titles, the dreaded crazed camera syndrome. This is especially frustrating when facing bosses, as if you didn't have enough on your plate, it doesn't however make these encounters impossible, it just throws that extra proverbial wrench into an already challenging situation, I suppose this makes the victory all the more sweeter?

Another disappointment for me was the pretty non-existent story. Now to be fair FromSoftware has never been known for having rich, detailed plots lined with rewarding character arc's so in that sense this is not much of a surprise. Still this seems like a huge wasted opportunity, especially with such an incredible backdrop, you would think even a sliver of a plot, no matter how simplistic would enhance an already incredible game. Sadly this is missing entirely. Perhaps FromSoftware was doing us a favor, "keep it simple stupid" is a moniker most games seem to avoid at their peril these days with plot lines often becoming so convoluted that you need an advanced degree in calculous to figure out what the **** is going on. Bloodborne is no "Last of Us" but its immersive game play and great overall design pickup the slack where the story falters.

The real highlight of this game however is found in its incredibly haunting sound design, everything from footsteps, to the musical score lends itself well to the creepy, hopeless, gothic atmosphere of Yarhnam, creating moments of sheer terror, enhanced by the already adrenaline pumping game mechanics. Bloodborne is easily one of the best titles to be released in the action genre for PS4 thus far and sets the stage for an exciting future full of tantalizing possibilities. Turn off the lights, turn up the volume and enjoy the ride.

As a huge Souls fan, this is something I missed in DS2 and I'm glad that Bloodborne kicked my ass so hard and so many times, my death count by the end was around one hundred, so good job, From Soft *clap gesture*. The best aspect about it are scarce checkpoints, it adds tension to your adventure a lot, remembering times when I was going deep into Forbidden Woods, for like 4 hours straight without a single checkpoint, but at the same time, clever level design offers you the way to open shortcuts, so even if you die the journey back wouldn't be so frustrating, perfect balance here and again much much better than in DS2 with bonfires around every corner.

The game looks stunningly impressive and leagues better than any previous souls game, from breathtaking world design, The Prague-inspired gothic architecture, creepy and horrifying monsters and epic boss battles, also clothes design is phenomenal, one better looking outfit than the other. Just listening to the soundtrack and it's a truly majestic piece of music work, very well done.

Now to the negatives, and honestly, there are surprisingly quite a lot of them.

Multiplayer is by far the weakest in the series. It slows down the game a lot, it's often very hard to even get connected and get ready to play a waiting game. Considering I played it during the first week, years from now, this will be an empty ghost town. Forget constant PvP matches and plenty of jolly co-op, here it's a rather rare occurrence. Also, forget all the various covenants with different objectives and mechanics, forget exclusive PvP arenas and all the good stuff that comes with it. After hours and hours of online fun in DS2, Bloodborne is a huge letdown in this area.

Another disappointment comes with only a very few weapons and various builds you can play with. In souls games, playing as a strength warrior, archer, cleric, or a mage felt very different, everyone had unique skills and playstyles and it supported multiple, multiple playthroughs. Here, all builds feel very similar and now, when I'm on my 2nd playthrough I already feel that replayability will suffer a lot because of this. Chalice dungeons, while impressive and surprisingly full of unique material, even unique bosses are trying to improve the replayability factor a bit with their procedurally generated levels, but I still don't think it's a good enough substitute.

And last but not least - the biggest problem of Bloodborne - PS4! Locked 30 FPS is a joke and coming from smooth 60 DS2 PC version, this is very painful. IF, at least the 30 FPS was rock solid and otherwise smooth, I wouldn't mind it as much, but it often goes deep below 30 and especially if you're playing online the game is very sluggish. The loading screens, oh boy, the loading screens! I stopwatched it and every single loading screen takes a massive 40 seconds! Compare this to the 3 secs in DS2 PC version and again, you're in pain. Especially with the warping system set in this game it becomes unbearable. Every time you want to go level up, repair, or buy stuff, let's go for a sweet loading screen to Hunter's dream, another loading screen back to the world, then you die and another loading screen cycle, rinse and repeat. In Souls games, there were at least item descriptions, or artworks that you could read while waiting, but here, prepare yourself to be staring at the blank Bloodborne logo for many many hours before you finish this game. So, next time, if someone gets a great idea to make the game an exclusive, at least make it on a platform, that can actually run your game properly!

It's a shame, because if it weren't for these technical downsides, less variation and a slightly lackluster multiplayer compared to previous Souls entries, Bloodborne would be perfect.

Hoping for a sequel or at least an expansion that would fix the problems, improve these shortcomings and bring Bloodborne even closer to perfection. Bless us with blood, bless us with blood! 9/10

But in Bloodborne (and Souls series), most enemies are slow and a little bit weak (except the boss), but you're even slower and weaker, so the basic idea is totally different: extremely hard, frustrating, and slow-paced fight, a little bit like a round games.

Why do I say it's like round games? Because for the most of time, enemy attacks, you dodge, and fight back, and dodge again, enemy attacks again, you attack again, enemy down. That's it. Doesn't it sounds like round games?

However, I just can't stop playing it, comparing to the achievement of beating a hard boss, frustrating progress isn't that bad.

    I'd give a 9.

The Regain system works wonderfully, basically if you take damage from an enemy, and strike them back quickly you have a chance of gaining some of your health back, however it is the definition of high risk high reward as you leave yourself vulnerable to the enemies attacks in the process. The game is beautiful, and there is a lot of content in the game, and you will most likely miss a good chunk of it on your first playthrough, encouraging a NG+ playthrough. Overall, an incredible game, just keep in mind it is not an easy game, and it is not for the faint of heart. You will find core ideas of gaming here other games don't even seem to know about. Exploration is a keyword. Player freedom. Sense of achievement. Immersion. Tension. Curiosity.

Smart, beautiful, incredibly rich in detail and creativity - These guys take videogames to a new level. The combat is precise, fast, deep, complex, and very satisfying. World-, level- and enemy design is unseen so far.

Once you start playing all your controller features are always available - these devs respect you as a gamer. No QTEs, no fetch missions, no game over for killing an NPC. Stories are plenty and deep in this game - and very mature.

The new weapon transformation system is awesome, the regain mechanic makes the gameplay aggressive and very fast. Got hit by an enemy? Hit it back to get your HP back! This game feels good - and i have to admit that it makes other games feel lifeless and boring.

Exploration is key - levels are all mazes you conquer, opening shortcuts to get fast to a boss if you didn't beat on the first try.

A lot of non PS4 owners try to tell you this game doesn't help you, but you will find a full tutorial right at start which is always to your disposal. Don't let them fool you. You don't have to be a fan of previous titles to love it. It's simply awesome.

Ok, let's cut straight to the chase here. Bloodborne should be a 10 out of 10 game it's that good but From have made a major mis-step with the long loading screens.

On the surface of it Bloodborne plays much like all the other Souls games but there's a freshness about it. The game has more attitude and style. Everything that wasn't essential has been done away with and everything else has been refined. Items now scale with your stats like weapons so they remain relevant throughout. Bows are out, so no just buying loads of arrows and taking enemies out from range.

Bloodborne focuses more on stealth and close combat. Parrying is now done with a gun instead of a shield and there is a wider margin for error. Back stabs now require enemies to first be stunned with a charged attack making them more difficult in normal combat but easier if you sneak up from behind.

The game world is more cohesive and believable than DS 2 and more reminiscent of the first Dark Souls game with many shortcuts folding back in on themselves rather than branching out in straight lines. There is less variety in the locations as well but the environments look great and they never become stale. Whether or not Yharnham is best game world FromSoft have created is probably to early to say from just one play through.

I'd say wait for a patch to fix the long loading screens before you play but I can only review what's in front of me so I must deduct one point. It's a problem all of the developers own making as they constantly force you to revisit the central hub between warping (presumably to discourage grinding) but that design decision in itself doubles the number of load screens compounding an already serious problem.

And killing stuff never felt so good! The extreme joy of defeating a boss in this game is second to none!
There is of course a big learn by trying here so don't get discouraged if you die 9 times in a row on the same enemy
Weapons are the igh point in this game and i friggen love them, its so damn cool that each weapon has a second form and its definitely something we have not seen in a game before.
Graphics are amazing and the setting is dark and grim like a heavy metal band cover.

Now unfortunately there are some frame rate issues but they are not that big, and thankfully never show up while fighting any enemies. The load time can be a pain as well but as long as you never die you won see them that often hehe. But in no way is as bad as people say. Kids these days are just to impatient.

Overall this game is a must buy for any souls or hardcore player, and i would say also a must for any ps4 owner, The difficulty might discourage some gamers but don't fret fight through it and and im sure you will find a game worth the hours.

In places it has the best graphics of any game, the sound is fantastic as always, level design is confusing at first as always but once you've completed the game a couple of times you know exactly where you're going and you can just pick and choose your routes with ease.

I'm on my NG+2 at the moment and still going (82 hours of play). The combat is just such a joy that as with Dark Souls 1 it's not about completing the game once and leaving it, you only get to a really capable level after your first play-through.

Multiplayer's excellent, my personal preference is getting to the end of the game (almost, so all the levels are unlocked) then helping other players out with boss battles but you can go for PVP if that's your preference.

Too much to mention really but the idiots on here giving this a 0 are obviously just haters that bought a X1.... What a stupid choice you made, next time pay attention to what's going on in the industry instead of just buying what you think has a big name. Anyone that paid even the slightest bit of attention could see that X1 was trash and Microsoft are the evil empire.

    Poor misguided fools.

As for the people that made the right choice, rejoice: This is the first 5 star title of the new generation. It's about damn time too. This is BY FAR the weakest generation of games in the history of gaming.

With that info in mind, let me say that anyone can get into Bloodborne. Learning the weapons and combat is challenging. Repeating areas, something others complain about, forces you to hone your play style. I'm using the threaded cane and am not used to a weapon getting better as I progress in a game.

The boss fights are insane, and there really is a sense of accomplishment when you succeed. Hell, I've even felt elated just finding strats to take down simple mobs because they are usually not very simple.

In short, nothing is handed to you and you earn every accomplishment. I haven't felt this challenged and sometimes very frustrated in years. Even the story is largely in your hands to interpret. There are also boatloads of videos of pro players to help if you're out of ideas.

    Some cons:

    1. FPS can dip, especially when NPCs are near fire.
    2. Load times need to be fixed between deaths and traveling.

    One simple truth:

    1. Like any game, but this one in particular, you will have moments when you want to throw the controller through the wall. Then you calm down and get back to having fun.

This game is amazing and I cannot help but gripe about the negative reviews and many zero ratings here, about 90% of which make it clear that the author gave a negative review because they don't like this type of game. That's completely unfair, and tantamount to me leaving a negative review for Madden NFL because I don't like sports games.

The game is inaccessible and difficult, yes.

The game is inaccessible and difficult, yes. Its a bit grindy, yes. Its all flavors of cryptic and forces you to immerse yourself to learn the story, oh yes. But that's what these games are about. If that's not your thing, cool. But there is a whole sea of Souls fans that love the series for these features.

Nearly every "criticism" I see in most of the zero marked reviews are features of the game that I and many others adore. I get that the Souls games are not for everyone, but a review should describe a game's quality, not a gamer's preference.

If you don't like Souls games, you won't like Bloodborne. That's it. If your unfamiliar with the Souls games and don't want to shell out $60 to see if you like them, give Dark Souls 1 a try. It's dirt cheap and even better.

The combat gameplay requires persistence and perseverance to learn, but once you become competent the marvel of its design shines through as the variations of the weapons and its upgrades open up new avenues of play. Enemy encounters and level design force you to make tactical decisions and demands that you study every one of your enemies moves to have an opportunity to survive. I've played the other souls games, but they always give you the ability to level up from the get go. This ensured that whilst you are settling in, and dying a lot (and in the process getting better at the game), that you do not feel like you're completely wasting your time. Bloodborne however insists that you learn before you can play the game. Some people love this, I wasn't a fan, and I think it was Bloodbornes only misstep.

I've loved the previous games in the series but they always felt a little clunky and slow, even when rolling an agile build they don't really compare to the speed at which bloodborne plays. This is the best thing about the game. Inherently it is another souls game with a mysterious story, challenging combat and big boss fights, but dropping the shield and upping the aggression level means the game feels fresh.

The world itself is stunning and the detail in which it's been realised is quite frankly staggering. Whilst the levels never truly open out to any great degree they are interconnected in wonderfully elaborate way. Souls games have always got a great sense of discovery about them, the lack of handholding and the difficulty in accessing some areas gives you a real sense of accomplishment and wonder when you do find a new area or shortcut.

The game is a meaty one and took me a good 27 hours on my first play through, and this was without touching the chalice dungeons. Others will progress quicker and others slower, but I don't think anyone will complain about the games length. Some of the bosses are somewhat simple in the vanilla run through (only becoming challenging in NG+), some areas aren't as well designed as others with the Nightmare frontier being a rather dull area when compared to the rest of the world, but it's such a small fraction of what's on offer it does little to diminish the whole.

Bloodborne streamlines the equipment side of things and whilst the weapon list is substantially shorter the weapons themselves are far more distinct from each other than they've been before. No longer are there 20 different variations on a long sword, they're still 3-4 but they all have substantially different secondary modes. Armour is no longer a matter of getting the best, you start with good armour and whilst there are some higher stat armour sets out there it is usually about finding the best for a situation rather than a defacto power set.

For those who've played dark souls, think a quicker, more focused, more brutal game. For those who haven't, despite some early annoyances, the game is quite frankly one of the best I've ever played, it won't be for everyone, some won't have the patience, others don't have the time, but for those who do you will be rewarded with a very special game that leaves you wondering how the next souls game could be any better?

This game is best played if you have some time, if you can put in an hour here or there that helps. You will die...a lot...it may be your own fault more often than not, at least that's the case with me. If I get frustrated and try to hurry it usually ends with me dead. The bosses are difficult but not impossible, the loading screens are a bit lengthy but I use that time to think about why I died...and slow my heart rate. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely adored all previous Souls games. However a new IP would be nice, or so I thought. So when Miyazaki announced Bloodborne, I was super hyped.

However the first hours of the game caught me off guard, since I played previous Souls games with a shield and sword combo. I was baffled that I was bad at the game. It looked like adapting to a new playstyle was a challenge on its own. The art style and theme of the game kept pushing me further. Until somewhere between Vicar Amelia and Shadow of Yharnam the game clicked for me and I really started to enjoy the mechanics as well. Now I'm completing NG+ and finishing up the Chalice Dungeons.

    Things I liked:
*A new intertwined gothic world with a magnificent art style.
    *Facinating monster and boss designs.
    *Trick weapons.
    *Peculiar NPC encounters.
*Less humanoid bosses than in DS2.
    *No soul memory.
    *Obscurity of the story.
*Gems and runes for upgrades mixes things up a bit.
*Quick-stepping is a fun mechanic once you get the hang of it.

    Things I didn't particulary enjoy:
    *Shorter than other Souls games.
    *Fewer weapons.
*Just 1 upgrade path for weapons.
    *No upgrades for armor.
*Lengthy loading screens (an SSD and the newest patch mitigates this somewhat)

Overall I recommend this game for any Souls veteran. Obviously the challenge will vary for people. I realize there are people who will never make it past the first few bosses and there are people who breeze through the game in 20 hours or less. Still if you're a new-comer considering Bloodborne, be ready to concentrate and be immersed. This is not a game to be taken lightly. Tread carefully, but be agressive as well and don't give up!

Blending eldritch horror, dark fantasy, and gothic themes, Bloodborne's world is rich and steeped in lore, despite some simplification of world factions and a more straightforward plot than its predecessors in the Souls series. Streamlined from its predecessors to deliver fast, offense based gameplay, Bloodborne does away with some of the micromanagement and consequently some of the variety found in Souls titles. Despite these changes, the game retains highly nuanced mechanics that Souls veterans will quickly grasp, though completing the game will not come without effort. Though enemy AI can be exploited, victories in Bloodborne are won through careful navigation and timing. The world of Bloodborne is smaller than that of Dark Souls, and the game quite a bit shorter, but the experience is no less filled with hidden treasures, NPC's to interact with at various junctures, and satisfying boss battles. Though Chalice dungeons can become a drag, even in advanced stages, the groundwork is solid and this optional (unless trophies are concerned) facet of the game provides a decent chunk of filler content. In all, a fantastic permutation of From's proven RPG formula.

Overall, Bloodborne's presentation is fantastic, with great music, carefully detailed environments, character models, and effects. Where Bloodborne is held back is in its technical performance. Its beautiful, hand crafted world may smooth out some dated technical aspects of From's engine, but nothing can iron out the inconsistent technical performance here. Long load times can prove frustrating as levels are re-generated upon death. Fast travel, which can only be achieved via transporting oneself back to the game's hub (a retrograde to the hub system of Demon's Souls), proves cumbersome and annoying, and ultimately a negative change. The framerate, while solid most of the time, can take a hit when multiple enemies are on screen accompanied by various effects. No frame rate issue here is quite on the level of Blighttown in the console version of Dark Souls, but still frustrating in how such problems diminish the player's ability to properly react to his/her (likely dire) situation.

Bloodborne is nevertheless a fantastic action game that is engaging in spite of its sometimes frustrating performance issues. Players will find themselves quickly immersed in a complex world of mystery and brutality, where progress is rewarded not only with new and interesting in-game items, but also a feeling of satisfaction and triumph that is rarely derived from today's increasingly safe roster of big titles. Those looking for a challenging and engaging action RPG should look no further than Bloodborne.

Bloodborne (A Hunters Dream A Players Nightmare)

After over a year of disappointing games for the next generation consoles thankfully the PS4 now has an exclusive worth wiping the dust of your console for. If your a fan of Demon souls and Dark Souls then you know what your getting yourself in for, if your not you may still find familiar ground that made you rage quit and never go back. Bloodborne is a game of unforgettable horror, unique environments, gameplay and relentless enemy's neither living nor dead. Bloodborne is a game that doesn't hold your hand or give you direction, and of course you will experience plenty of deaths like the previous Souls games that will make your bloodboil so just make sure you're in a well ventilated room...

This is Bloodborne, a Dark Souls reskin I thought it may be maybe at it's core it is when your talking about overall gameplay, but when you progress through the games horrific enemy's and start exploring the outskirts of the city. Bloodborne is a whole new game on it's own. It's inner layer is unimaginable and will reward the player tenfold for making it through. Bloodborne is a truly unique next gen game with fast paced combat (similar to Devil May Cry mixed with Metal Gear Rising) stunning graphics and easier customization (menu screen, stats, weapon customization) make Bloodborne more appealing to a wider audience well just aaa small bit. Hidetaka Miyazaki (creator of the Souls franchise and Bloodborne) has embedded his footprint to create a Gothic vivid city filled with horror waiting to be explored that takes the player through the darkest hollows to the highest peaks. Bloodborne surely is an unforgettable experience and is one of the greatest sense of achievements you will ever experience in a video game that most hardcore gamers should endure.

    Perks
It's a true next gen game
    Vivid Gothic rich setting
Haunting soundtrack that sounds well... haunting
Fast paced fluent combat that works well
    Great sense of accomplishment
A less complicated setup compared to the Souls games weapons, custom stats, runes, leveling much easier to grasp and configure than the Souls games.
Side stuff like dungeons and enemy's don't feel like side quests but rather like a main quest each is as unique
Could easily spend a couple of hundred hours on it well worth the buck
One of the greatest sense of achievements you will ever experience in a game video game
Gameplay can take a while to master and depending on the boss or enemy you will have to adapt

    Negatives
Most NPCs are either behind windows or don't say much
Like Souls little lore on the front have to dwell through the games tough regime to discover its lore
    Slow Loading screens
Some frame rates issues and enemy's glitches through the ground in certain areas
Repetitive gameplay will not appeal to the wider gaming audience but does this matter?
