    This game is awful. Campers are the most plentiful out of any type of players, and way to many people play recon. The game is extremely difficult for new players due to people on the edges of the map picking off other players. The body hits with snipers are never a one shot kill unless the player has already lost health. Now would be the worst time to join due to the fact that no one playsThis game is awful.     When the cover of the game is cringy,what do you expect? I mean,it has a few good missions and set pieces,but overall, the story is bland and forgettable. They tried for the game to look cool, but they didn't succeed.

    The Battlefield franchise has had many failures and successes in its tenure. Hardline is somewhere in between. The concept is sound breaking away from the crowded modern military shooter market. The concept of a cops vs robbers is a breath of fresh air. But the execution however could use improvement.     I am shocked with Battlefield Hard Line. This game is broken in every way. I had to stop playing because the sense that I have done this before was so strong that it felt like a waste of time. Maybe I should just quit the fps genre. The best so far is Wolfenstein The New Order, and the Old Blood was decent. The FMVs in BHL are gorgeous, however the in game looks like a first gen PS3.     YES, it did have grappling hooks and ziplines and cool gadgets, but in all out warfare it isn't viable or often used (at least in my experience). If it had R6 Siege style gameplay with smaller maps and more objective style gameplay, it might have been cool to use the gadgets.     Hotwire was really the only good mode but you could easily cheese a boring victory by driving around the map if the enemy team didn't know they signed up for mobile conquest.
    I didn't mind the single player, but it wasn't anything exciting. I only remember the main character's name because he has the same name as my brother.

    OK, I can't believe how much this sucks. I can't get past "Stop the Bleeding" in the first episode because the bullet doesn't go anywhere near where the sights are pointing. Even if I don't use the right mouse button (yes, this is on the PC), it only goes near the very large plus sign about half the time. In the earlier parts of the first episode, I was 3 feet away from some goon shootingOK, I can't believe how much this sucks.     From what I understand, this is a shooting game. If you can't shoot, it doesn't matter how the story goes.
    And did you notice that there is no training episode? There is no shooting range. You can't try out the gear. From what I understand, training is a very important part of being a police officer, and knowing your weapons and tools is a life saver.
    Thumbs down! Can't believe this thing got through QA.
    BTW, I'm still trying to get my money back from Origin. Can't believe that there isn't a button somewhere that says, "Delete this game and give me my money back."    … Expand

    For me this game is slightly above average, the story is cliche filled and I think that the only time this game started to be better was at the end. So the singleplayer is not so much to talk about. But the multiplayer on the other hand is the best part about this game, I liked most of the maps and the game modes.     Not a bad game, it feels like a battlefield, cool mp maps, but doesn't feels like a new game of the serie, like a bf4 re-skin, but beside that is a cool game.

Si dans l'absolu, la jouabilitĆ© et la maniabilitĆ© ne posent pas de problĆØme, elles s'avĆØrent vieillotes et quelque peu dĆ©passĆ©es lorsqu'on les compare Ć  un Halo 4/5 ou un Far Cry 3. Pour une franchise spĆ©cialisĆ©e dans le "FPS", cela commence Ć  faire dĆ©sordre aprĆØs toutes ces annĆ©es.

    Ce qui n'empĆŖche pas une rĆ©alisation -comme Ć  leur habitude- impressionnante que ce soit en solo ou multi, gĆ¢chĆ©e cependant par la rĆ©solution faiblarde (720p !) raison et consĆ©quence d'un crĆ©nelage assez sensible.     Toujours dans un souci de se diversifier, ce Battleprout introduit quelques mƩcaniques de furtivitƩ qui ne fonctionnent pas : Visceral totalement novice dans ce domaine devrait demander quelques conseils Ơ Ubisoft ou Bethesda. Un coup dans l'eau donc.

    Campaign was descent,even though it has some cringy moments.There are nice missions,interesting enviroment.But the main character is so forgettable..And other characters,also..They dont leave any impression on you.It is far from a bad game,it has ups and downs,but after all,if you are playing it for the campaign,you should try it

    Battlefield Hardline is a great game, that takes the series in a different direction that will have you loving or hating the game. Battlefield Vets will be let down by the smaller, more close quarters tailored maps and lack of military vehicles. (After all, this is about cops and robbers)

    As I just mentioned, this game is about cops and criminals. For the campaign, you go through a    Battlefield Hardline is a great game, that takes the series in a different direction that will have you loving or hating the game. Battlefield Vets will be let down by the smaller, more close quarters tailored maps and lack of military vehicles. (After all, this is about cops and robbers)

    As I just mentioned, this game is about cops and criminals. For the campaign, you go through a story-driven/TV show style game, that is fairly entertaining and I highly recommend a playthrough.

    The multiplayer takes a slightly different approach and focuses on several different team based game types, such as blood money (sort of like capture the flag, but with money you have to load into a duffel bag) heist (which replaces rush, gives you objective and place to loot cash and escape/capture each other.) and hotwire (which gives you a points for stealing and continuously driving the objective cars)

    Along with the usual 4 classes, cops and criminals have their own specific weaponry and gear like ziplines and grappling hooks which streamlines the movement on the field. Ultimately, the way the MP is set up it works, but most fans will find it lacking. Personally, it just took me some time getting used to.    … Expand

    For a game that gets the name of BATTLEFIELD was a real disaster, very weak history, and online mode is very bad and full of bugs. Really a shot in the foot by EA.

    An absolute disgrace. I purchased multiple Battlefield games including Hardline for my xbox 360 and I have so many regrets. A waste of my money. What Battlefield Hardline requires is totally unrealistic and inconvenient. I attempted to install Hardline and was told I needed a hard drive as well as 3.5 GB. So me being my gullible idiotic self went out and bought a $100 hard drive only toAn absolute disgrace. Anyways without further ado let us dive into this mountain of Cocaine that is Battlefield Hardline.

    The story is rather interesting. It is a full game but tells the story as if you are watching CSI Miami. It literally has a previously on Battlefield Hardline. Unlike anything by Dick Wolf, this game feels and acts more like a cop show on HBO not like The Wire or True Detective; it just feels like it can be on HBO with all the violence and cussing, and grittiness. You are Mendoza a newish detective who is a stick up his ass cop, so a cop. The only way I remembered this guys name is because his last name is Mendoza like the Mcbain villain from The Simpsons. The story is you (Mendoza) trying to take down the ever growing drug trafficking that is taking over Florida. I can't say anymore to the story without giving it away but it gets way more complicated than that. I will say this is the best single player in a Battlefield game since the first Bad Company. I know that is not saying a lot, but Visceral actually put some effort into this story unlike most of FPS storylines.

    The game is beautiful in both the environment and cutscenes. The characters don't have that dead durrr face that you seen with many games from a previous generation. The environments aren't repetitive at all they actually vary quite a bit. Something that was nice because you are a cop there was no war zones in the Middle East in this game. I can't tell you how sick and tired I am of killing the same faceless enemies in the middle east. Now because the AI couldn't wear things covering their face I arrested the same guy quite a few times in the same level. Don't get me wrong this is more a nitpick than an actual complaint, but it was noticeable. The sound was equally adequate. The environments felt alive, the slums, felt like people lived there, while the swamps had that annoying gnat flying into the characters ear. The voice acting is on par with the effects. Being that this is a very story heavy single player the voice acting had to be good and this game delivers.

    The gameplay is unlike any other Battlefield game to date. It is a lot more stealth heavy versus the run and gun, and blow **** up like every single Battlefield before it. They added a ton of components that make you feel more like a cop than even L.A. Noire did. You can flash your badge to make enemies freeze, arrest all enemy combatants if you are stealthy, and even tased the **** out of everyone. This is cool, but (minor spoiler ahead) when you aren't a cop anymore the whole arresting people made no sense even from a story standpoint due to the characters motivation. Otherwise this gun play is a played down Battlefield, you won't get heavy machine guns or RPGs. You will get light machine guns, pistols, and shotguns. I will say on normal the combat can be challenging if you aren't paying attention. The enemies don't **** around they are a better shot than me. The single player is about a six hour experience which is pretty typical for these kind of games. I know what some are thinking, "who gets these games for single player?". The multiplayer has many of the same modes as Battlefield 4, but has the newest heist mode. In heist you can earn points by making arrest, kills, stealing, doing the objective or stopping the opposing team from completing theirs. Sadly I didn't find this as fun as traditional Battlefield multiplayer, but that is me who digs typical conquest which this is present. My argument against that would be, if you only like conquest stick with Battlefield 4 because this is no different.

    Overall the game is a lot of fun well worth a purchase, but only if you enjoy multiplayer. The single player is a one and done kind of thing. It has little replay value with the single player; so if you're into that I'd say rent it. This is deffiently worth checking out even from the none Battlefield fans because the single player is something new and different. I give this a 4/5 it is a great game that I think people should check out. The single player is better than most cop shows on TV (excluding HBO). I leave with a question. Battlefield has done a Cop story, but when will they go either into the future again or to the past like WW1 or earlier?    … Expand

    One of the most disliked battlefield titles, well not anymore but still very under the radar. Campaign is okay, don't like it nor dislike it. Multiplayer is pretty good, the mechanics have a call of duty feel to it, so if you're a call of duty player want to play another boots on the ground, i recommend Battlefield Hardline.

    The game is fun, but it is better as a Battlefield 4 DLC because it is a bit short and like being a game of your own is too big.

    Straight trash. Open the EA App. Launch game. Nope! It launches a browser window to their "Battlelog". Click Start Campaign. Initializing...

    After 10 minutes of trying this process over and over and it getting stuck on Initializing, I close everything down and do it again. Error! Check your game installation!

    I uninstalled without issue.

    This game is the worst edition in the series. It feels bland + the storyline and characters just did not grab me. The gameplay felt stiff and because of that I had a hard time just completing the campaign. Skip this one.

    I actually like the campaign of this game. It's better than other bf games. It's not very good but entertaining.
    I like the multiplayer too. Again it is not very good but enough for a bf game. I don't know what people were expecting.

    Battlefield Hardline is something different, it's frankenstein experiment. It's not a bad game, but definitely it's not the best of the series. Gun play is typical for battlefield, story is pretty good, multiplayer is fun even in 2021. Good game.

    Hardline Battlefield game was a beautiful, spectacular and finishing game, but it did not have good graphics and characterization, and this is why I deducted 2 points from this game, 1 point, because it was not as beautiful as Battlefield 4, its story and battlefield It was out of sight until 2016, when Nebar Square 1 was released

    A simple shooter, or rather a game with shooter elements.Honestly, you can say the same thing about it as about call of duty black ops 3, they are the same in terms of semantic load zero.But hardline is a little better in the atmosphere itself than call of duty

    Not a great one. It isn't unplayable, the campaign is actually fairly entertaining, but it could really drop that whole 'next time on battlefield' shtick. I bought the game I don't need to be lured into another chapter. Seeing as multiplayer really doesn't have great gamem-modes or an active base I would suggest buying this on sale to mess around with the campaign.

    Its just a spin-off battlefield cop vs thief gameplay is cool but isnt very so cool compared to his predecessor but....the campain is very interesting and cool with his plot and gameplay too bad for the ending is nothig interesting...
