As always--metacritic and other review scores mean squat--they're only opinions. China Rising is a decent addition, and I love the expansive size of 3/4 of the maps. They represent the true Battlefield experience that certain people who prefer vapid arcade run-n-gun fshooting galleries will probably hate. Again, just an opinion.

I like China rising. The only problem I have is that maybe 3 of them from the 4 are to vehicle based. Silk road should be called 'get in a tank and go to the next location'. Only one of the maps is decent for infantry and that is Guilin Peaks. Altai range and Dragon pass are also vehicle centric . I can forgive them tho as the capture points feel quite well spaced out so you never feel asI like China rising. The only problem I have is that maybe 3 of them from the 4 are to vehicle based. I can forgive them tho as the capture points feel quite well spaced out so you never feel as far from the action (and as out in the open ) as you do in Silk road. Dragon's pass is the most beautiful level not just in China rising but in the game period....closely followed by Guilin peaks. Maybe I am just a sucker for trees and mountains tho. Overall if you got it for free how can you complain? If you paid for premium then the money is worth it alone just for the infantry action in Guilin or the scenery in Dragon Pass. I know I go against the grain here but I like it. Expand
