    The most perfect FPS game I've ever played (and I'm playing games for >20 years), with the best multiplayer I've ever experienced. Call of Duty is nowhere near this work of art, which to me makes this game dominate the FPS genre.

    Great game! It reminds me of the older Battlefield & Medal of Honour games on PC.
    The game looks great; sounds great.
    The weapons are very satisfying.
    Battlefield is back, if this doesn't put CoD in the ground.......I don't know what will.

    This is an amazing! Best Single Player experience ever to the all Battlefield series. Graphics and story are incredible! No words to say about BF1 Multiplayer, with one word: marvelous!

    Everything you love about this series, in one really convincing package...This game is a masterpiece, plain and simple. The attention to detail rivals anything else out there. It's a Battlefield game at it's core, but this title really sells it's settings to the player. The whole thing is just brilliant. 10/10

    For me the best Battlefield. Operations is finally about war, about battles, about all what I wanna play in this game..... Great!!! Famously balanced maps from different battlefields of first world war. Every map have entertain me (first time in Battlefield for me). Just hope for more locations in DLCs.

    Battlefield has been better than COD for years now ever since BF3 and possibly even before that but the mainstream never notices because a new COD is spit out every year just in time for the holidays. I played the Infinte Warfare Beta just to see if maybe just maybe they changed something this year. But it felt like Modern Warfare 2 and every other COD game that has came out since.     Incredible game, incredible experience. I've not been a fan of the Battlefield games since the original 1944, although 1943 wasn't bad. However since the fall of Call Of Duty, and the general disappointment of FPS in general I have kept a vested eye on Battlefield 1. Seeing the gorgeous visuals, and the return to the World War, I had hoped for the definitive War FPS game of the newIncredible game, incredible experience. I've not been a fan of the Battlefield games since the original 1944, although 1943 wasn't bad. However since the fall of Call Of Duty, and the general disappointment of FPS in general I have kept a vested eye on Battlefield 1. Seeing the gorgeous visuals, and the return to the World War, I had hoped for the definitive War FPS game of the new generation.

    The only thing I had heard about the game in the negative was the campaign being a bit lacking, but honestly since playing it I have to say it's one of the best FPS campaigns since COD4. It's a brilliant series of stories that really pack the punch of mortality and survival.

    So the most important points to cover are gameplay and visuals. This game looks incredible, I had to pause and shows others the levels and atmosphere on multiple occasions just because how stunningly real everything looks. I will be replaying and coming back to this game for a long time just to re-live the visuals and atmosphere.
    The gameplay is perfect. The guns feel old and exactly as they should, but also aren't too hindering, they're fun to shoot, they feel very physical. The movement is good, moving around maps isn't as frustrating as it is with many other games which constantly weigh you down, or burn down your stamina very quickly, making every movement a chore. The level design is great, and feels very much a warzone rather than just a paintball gun game arena. The cities, desertscapes and mountains all feel real, beautiful but fragile, and the stories add to the game rather than distract from it. Every mission feels like something you need to do because you are the character rather than a chore you have to fulfil to further the story, which is something I havne't felt with an FPS for a long time.

    Absolutely recommend this game if you in any way like FPS, this is the FPS to get.

    As a side note the recent Wolfenstein games are pretty good as is Doom 4, but honestly they failed to keep my interest SP completion, and Rainbow Six Siege is a pretty well made tactical fps,but it is a little too trapped in grinding and unlocking, and digital currencies for my liking.    … Expand

    Easily one of the best battlefields yet. It has been a solid experience where I have noticed few to no bugs, unlike previous recent battlefield launches. Definitely worth picking up if you are remotely interested in battlefield games.

    Everything you could want in a shooter (minus jetpacks which no one really wants). Visuals are unlike anything before it as close to perfect as you could ever get.

    Battlefield 1 is absolutely stunning, from the campaign to the multiplayer and DICE has outdone themselves! But the real star is Operations.. it's the stand out game mode in Battlefield 1, and the only one I ever want to play!

    I haven't liked a FPS game this much since Medal Of Honor: Frontline on PS2. I love FPS games set in older wars. I don't like how a lot of FPS games are way too futuristic. The campaign is very good and I like how it's set up like small playable war stories, which could lead to more war story DLC later.     Absolutely awesome! I downloaded the whole game yesterday via Early Enlister option and I am utterly amazed. I cannot imagine the sheer man-hours necessary to craft a game of this depth and scope. The impeccable attention to detail and intent to honor the men and women who were involved in this horrific period really is incredible. DICE, once again, have out-done themselves. The SP campaign, for a change, is heartfelt and exquisite. The cut scenes are extremely well done and the gameplay is superb. But, as with every BF game, MP is why I pay the price for admission. And it is wonderful. The sound....the destruction...the deliciously bone-thrumming quality of the gunplay/gun handling. I don't know how they do it, but DICE dishes out the best overall feel for gunplay I've ever experienced in FPS gaming. And BF1 is unique in its representation of this feel. The pace is different and more languid, without being boring...more classically cinematic. The feeling of antiquation is there, expressing a period of armaments so far removed from modern day, that they feel almost alien. And it works. When I play...I feel transported to another time. It's exciting and new...different in the best possible way.

    When I heard DICE was going back to WWI for their next BF game, I was very concerned. I had an narrow view of that war which amounted to the dull impression of the quagmire of trench warfare. I simply could not conceive of how this era could be made into an interesting video game. Imagine my surprise when firing up BF1 for the first time. Pupils dilating and being swept away for hours in that timeless bliss that is immersive gaming. I'm looking forward to years of that feeling with this game.     I'm never really giving high scores like this but this game is a MUST buy. I played several offline missions and conquest online. AMAZING! The sounds, the feeling, the graphics, the gameplay, the diversity of weapons and vehicles. LOVE IT. It's really worth the score it gets now (8,8 user score).     It's just sheer awesomeness,after a disappointing beta I thought this game is not gonna be good but I was prove wrong because beta is just beta,the New operation mode is jaw dropping experience for me,DICE make my dream come true by making multiplayer feelings just as awesome as singleplayer.I'm just speechless wonderful job!salute to you EA,your goal has finally been reached

    Wow!! This game is amazing. Since the launch of the new generation consoles there hasn't been a game that has exceeded my expectations until now. DICE has done a tremendous job at delivering wonderful product. We are taken back to The Great War in an immersive environment filled with jaw dropping gameplay. There is quite a bit of content which will keep me engaged for quite awhile.Wow!! This game is amazing. Since the launch of the new generation consoles there hasn't been a game that has exceeded my expectations until now. DICE has done a tremendous job at delivering wonderful product.     The main story-line is absolutely epic. Engaging in REAL battles that actually happened during the first world war is not only thought inspiring its actually informative too. WW2 Europe is as deadly as it is beautiful.

    The graphics are what next gen are supposed to be, Crystal clear. Movement is fluid and loose. The sounds and voice actors are spot on. The environment is brutal and as realistic as your gona get.

    Multiplayer is such an improvement on all previous shooting games. BF1 is all about team work and supporting your squad. Rewards are based on objectives, not kills. This gets rid of the camping douchebags of other FPS games hiding in corners with a shotgun and popping off enemies to get in that precious unearned air support.

    Battlefield1 absolutely owns all other first person shooters. The dominance of money grabbing 'Call of Kerching' is long dead.

    Go buy BF1 now, you wont be disappointed.

    Campaign is short, but very decent, they tell good stories and enjoyed playing them. But this is not why most people buy battlefield, including me. The multiplayer is the reason... and well I haven't got bored of it since playing on it for a few months, and that to me is a big thing because I get bored easily. So that's why I give this a 10.

    it sucks so much with, servers issues, entering in the middle of the match with the half gone losing team

    Amazing graphics, awesome gameplay. any FPS fan should get it. My favourate game of 2016 so far. I hope this is a good omen for the start of game releases in winter this year.

    The great FPS of the last 3 years. This games has beautiful graphics, and the MP is awesome. The Maps are so good to the gameplay, all in this game is good. Please, buy this game and you will see that this game is the better FPS, if you liked of BF Bad Company 2 you will love this game.

    If you read my review, you should consider that I'm a newbie at PS4 shooters (playing with DS4) and I'm a master on PC shooters.
    The game is awesome. That's all.
    The graphics are great. Even greater than SW Battlefront.
    The multiplayer is fun to play. It's not about the kills your get but the objectives.
    Every great game has some cons. And for me - this is the short Campain.

    Wonderful, classic BF multiplayer. Large scale 32 vs 32 battles always keep the action flowing throughout entire Conquest matches. Surprisingly in the 15 hours that I've put in, I haven't experienced one connection issue. The only negative that I've experienced is that there are certain instances in which hit detection has felt a little "off".

    If you enjoy FPS games and want to go back in time to The Great War, this is a 1000% buy. Hell, even if you are fans of great games, pick this one up.    … Expand

    Finally a real World War game is here in 2016! I'm an old gamer and i love this game. The atmosphere is totally awesome. The story has nice moments when your heart and tears go boom. The multiplayer is very good feeling. Many thanks for the developers. Enjoy the game Boys and Girls!

    Best battlefield IMO. None of the others felt this complete right out of the box.

    Each battle plays differently, and I feel WWI fits the 68 on 68 mode perfectly.

    BF1 really is an amazing game bringing in a new start to an FPS shooter, WW1. From its story driven campaign to its unbelievable battles in multiplayer. It set you off in a place we've never seen before. I'll be playing this until I get a grey beard and I'm only 22!

    The atmosphere DICE has created in Battlefield 1 is simply genius. You really do feel like a part of the game. Guns look and sound amazing, same for vehicles. Campaign is quite good aswell (it's normally not). All in all I highly recommend Battlefield 1 for any FPS lover, the game is great and the skill curve is high.

    it's a strong installment, you need to get used to the guns and find your way on the battlefield but as soon as you did you have a lot of fun.. top notch graphics and sound.. everybody who gives this a low score is just frustrated because they got no clue how to play and are shutdown like chicken.. game is perfect

    I had previously bought wwe2k17..I just sold that game today. why? Because after buying and playing battlefield 1, there is nothing else that I want to play. BF1 has just raised the standards of the shooter genre to a whole new level and in the process has blown call of duty out of the equation so R.I.P Cod. I instantly fell in love with bf1 during storm of steel (the intro mission). EAI had previously bought wwe2k17..I just sold that game today. why? Because after buying and playing battlefield 1, there is nothing else that I want to play. BF1 has just raised the standards of the shooter genre to a whole new level and in the process has blown call of duty out of the equation so R.I.P Cod. I instantly fell in love with bf1 during storm of steel (the intro mission). EA and DICE have captured ww1 so well and send us on an emotional rollercoaster. I used to work as a ww1 tour guide in france, teaching school children about the Great War but I think they might as well introduce the game in schools. The graphics are the best I have ever seen, showing breathtaking landscapes, animations (explosions are just amazing) and its representation of no mans land is astounding. They have paid attention to every little detail, even having loads of trench rats runnin around.The music will tug at your heart and soul and drown you into the game as if you were literally in there. Gameplay is very fluid and rewarding. There is also a very well made campaign and multiplayer is top of pile great stuff. This game will literally be my number 1 game for a few years. We all know that EA will keep releasing updates and dlcs and I will definitely be buying the season pass.

    This is a great game! I really am enjoying every single minute online with it, and I know it can only get better in the near future! Never thought I would enjoy a WWI game this much!

    The multiplayer is the clear focus here, and it's simply incredible. The best Battlefield game and the best FPS since Call of Duty 4, if not ever. Operations mode is awesome and filled with epic moments. I loved the St. Quentin into Amiens operation. While on the topic of Amiens, it is clearly the standout map of the current group. Plugged into good gaming speakers, this game (and Amiens in particular) is a marvel. Whistles blowing as you charge the enemy, the screams of the dying, things exploding and collapsing left and rights, bullets whizzing past. The multiplayer is more immersive than most games singe player campaigns. It's that good. Getting kills is incredibly satisfying as well, especially with the infantry variants in the scout class.

    This game is amazing. Since the launch of the new generation consoles there hasn't been a game that has exceeded my expectations until now. DICE has done a tremendous job at delivering wonderful product. We are taken back to The Great War in an immersive environment filled with jaw dropping gameplay. There is quite a bit of content which will keep me engaged for quite awhile

    Probably my favorite first person shooter of all time. Granted, I don't play too many, it's really fun. There's so many modes, lot's of weapons to unlock, and customization. It also has a good match making system, and great maps. It sometimes can take awhile to load, but thats the only drawback I have come across. I haven't played other battlefield games but I really like this one.

It is incredibly inconvenient every time you reload your weapon, and your character takes 30 seconds or so to do it, but at the same time, a little grin creeps on to my face each time it happens. Health is hard to regain, unless you have a medkit, and it is not uncommon to be unable to ADS because of the gasmask on your face, protecting you from a deadly cloud of mustard gas. It's these little details, that make this came so compelling.
    The story is incredibly powerful as well. From the opening sequence where you play as about 5 different characters, all of whom inevitably perish, the game powerfully conveys the hopelessness of a war where battlefield tactics had yet to catch up to the death dealing technologies of the period. The Short anthology type stories do a great job of highlighting specific aspects of the war. These stories are extremely moving, as they manage to connect you to the characters and create meaningful development over the course of only three or four levels.
    BF1 also features an immensely fun multiplayer. The most enjoyable aspect of which is the new operations feature; a bit of a cross between domination, and rush, with the large scale chaos of conquest. One match will take about 3 rounds, and sometimes moves to a different map. Usually at least once in a course of a match, one side is reinforced by a zeppelin, train, or dreadnought battleship. The scope of the matches is monstrous. Each time you spawn in, the camera zooms into a spot on the map, speaking to how small, helpless, and inconsequential each soldier must have felt; especially when there are things like Zeppelins looming in the sky, raining death on all who dare to venture underneath.
    Whether you are a hardcore fps gamer, or someone who is interested in history, and compelling heroism, Bf1 is a mightily entertaining experience.    … Expand

    Perfect FPS everyone has been waiting for! Great graphics, gameplay and single player campaign. This game depicts the horror of WW1 excellently; especially the whistle when going over the top of the trenches. I have played 10 hours, and still have a lot to do in this game. Great buy!

    I love this game it has some very intense moments in multiplayer which makes it exciting to play. Very addictive! I love the destruction of buildings makes it hard to hide behind walls. Fantastic game so far.

    When I first played this game I felt frustrated. It felt like your playing your match with your least favorite gun.
    -the hit detection is not absolute.
    -crazy recoil, machinegun shoots like UZI
    -slow reload speed (some rifles reloads like pump shotguns indivisual bullet reloads)
    -you cannot slide 2 meter anymore since there is no boost pack and you cannot jump 10 meters and dunk on enemy's face. The movement feels somewhat more restrict than other fps we recently played.

    YEAH I was so used to futuristic fps too and forgot that glory feelings of realistic war game. I count my bullets because long reload can kill me, I don't spray because it gets no where, (remember vmp,vesper,hvk,etc all those ultra guns that can kill anyone from close to middle range by spraying? It won't happen here. Your holding guns with 5-to 10 bullets capacity you will want every bullet counts)

    Yeah so if your used to futuristic shooters like my self it will be frustrated at first. Bare with it for some time , I'm sure you will get used to it and play the first most realistic world war shooter till date.    … Expand

    I'm a big fan of battle games based on actual historical events and this game has really hit the spot for me. My last favorite game was COD World at War and I never thought there would be another game as good as that since game developers were focusing more on futuristic fictional battles.     Best Battlefield game so far in my opinion. The only bad thing is the game is having server issues right now so I haven't been able to play that much, and the campaign is quiet short aswell clocking in at about 5 hours of gametime. But other than that amazing game!

Also multiplayer is really great, my favorite mode of playing multiplayer is operations, it’s a large scale map, and you either need to defend your sectors or conquer it. If you are someone that is a gamer and loves to play first shooter games but not those future fake warfare stuff, then I recommend buying this game. I think people would love this game because this is actual warfare that took place 100 years ago, and this game is very realistic to play. My preference of games, I like the realistic war games, either something in the past or modern. Now like future wack games like call of duty, to me they took it into future games, and that’s when I lost my favor of call of duty. This game made me change my mind about the Battlefield franchise, not only is it a great first person shooter, but is far superior to the likes of Call of Duty (Don't say I'm a Battlefield fanboy because I enjoy COD too). With the direction the COD franchise is going as of right now this is a good alternative, and if you don't like WWI then fine wait for Battlefield V or buy Battlefield 1943. If you like modern day shoot for Battlefield 4 or Bad Company 2.
    Now on to the actual game itself, while I have not finished the War Stories they suffice for a good 5 hour distraction from multiplayer. Multiplayer is fantastic offering a variety of tactical choices, but don't rush headfirst into battle like I did at first because you need your teammates as they are essential to your survival. There is four classes Assault, Medic, Support, and Scout. Assault is more focused on as you can clearly tell, assault, it offers a variety of different guns focused on this type of behavior everything from shotguns to automatic weapons and more, this class is also essential to taking down vehicles as they offer rocket guns and anti-tank grenades.
    Medics do as they do they are medics, they are more focused on semi-auto rifles as far as guns go, but will help you on the battlefield as they can drop med packs that will heal you faster, they also have a needle that revives players that have fallen in battle.
    Support is focused on LMGs for their guns, they can drop ammo packs that will give players more ammo, And that's the jist of them.
    Scouts are more accustomed to bolt-action rifles either scoped or unscoped. They have special bullets that will damage vehicles but won't do much, you can also cycle the zeroing distance on most rifles.
    Each class has the ability to spot players by pressing R1, and they also have the ability to put on a gas mask by pressing up on the d-pad.
    Battlefield 1 is truly an amazing first person shooter that must be played. Goodbye.    … Expand

    Battlefield 1 blew me away of how good it was. I was pretty exited for battlefield 1 and it did not dissapoint at all. This is not only the best battlefield game to this date but one of the best games ever.

    The actual score I would give to this game is 9.5 but, anyways, best Battlefield game since Bad Co, 2. Great history mode, nice graphics. Fun to play. There are some glitches EA, or DICE, could fix, but they do not affect the gameplay. WWI plot is creative and amazing, there is historical inaccuracy, indeed, but the game itself is great.

The classes feel as perfectly balanced as can be, as each one has an important role, and there doesn't feel like there is one far above the others. Vehicles are powerful, though can be destroyed and are not game breaking.

    BF1 is an amazingly fun game. It may not be historically accurate but it is fun!
    EA and DICE valued fun over historical accuracy which may be frustrating to
    the gamer who is a historical shooter fan, but I don't mind what it lacks in
    historical accuracy it makes it up in the sheer fun factor alone.
    I greatly recommend this game. 10/10

A lot of variety and a lot of action in a game with an enveloping environment, enriched with excellent music, well framed for the time of the 1st World War. Innovative and odd!

    An actual FPS masterpiece, the campaign mode is an absolute gem, the war stories are a great way of telling so many different stories of the Great War. The multiplayer is so immersive, with great maps, and jaw dropping moments, with the addition of behemoths, cavalry, and other WWI era specific weaponry. Getting a headshot in this game is oddly satisfying with the audio design.     Великолепный шутер с отточенным балансом и механикой стрельбы. Также на высоте звуковое оформление и графика, а также левелдизайн - достоин всяких похвал.

    Despite a very short campaign, Battlefield 1 still offers the best single-player experience in the series. Mix it with a huge, brilliant multi-player that the series is known for and you have an almost complete package. Definitely the best approach to World War 1 yet.
