    It works so it gets 2 stars, but this is a cash in on the upcoming game and the hype around that. they have don nothing to the game at all, its the ps2 version with upscaling enabled to work on a 4k screen.

    Don't buy this crap unless you like playing 20 year old games but paying for it like its a new game.

    I cannot recommend this game at its current price tag has got to be a joke. If you want to relive this classic do yourself a favour And purchase it off eBay on PS2 or Xbox. It will be much cheaper.

    I was hoping for some more action RPGs to come to the Xbox back compat, unfortunatly not one of the origional amazing games of this type from the OG xbox made the cut..This is one of the best though and if it did come to back compat it would have still been 4:3 and 30fps, this little remaster give us one of the best dungeon crawlers at 4K 60fps in wide screen.     All their games,, consistantly for 2 decades. I love their stuff. The way they make their combos flow, the interesting level design, their pacing and progression that keeps the player engaged from begining to end.. And the way they used the hardware to get the best feeling in combat. This is a perfect port, imo 4K 60 on PS4 pro.. Stable performance and most importantly "" NO Censorship"".. This is the exact game we got on OG Xbox running and looking modern.
    Awsome work by SQUARE ONE studuios,, this is what a modern port should be, except with the rumble odd course..

    I own this game on PS2. Love it. Wish I could play it on my PS4 or PS5. But, I am told, nobody uses backwards compatibility. Why not, instead, charge me $30 to play my old game on a new system? Makes perfect business sense. I mean, nobody uses backwards compatibility...but if one were to charge me $30 for the opportunity to play my old game...now you have my attention! $30 to play an oldI own this game on PS2. Love it.     It’s good to play this game again, it’s still enjoyable, though they could’ve added some quality of life or new modes or something.

    Perfectly playable and a great old ARPG for Diablo fans.

    On the Mt Rushmore of Dungeon crawler RPGs.
    The enhanced visuals and faster loading times perfectly resurrect this classic ps2 hidden Gem.
    Control's are responsive and the dated graphics are not at all distracting. In fact considering this is a 20 yr old game the graphics are pretty good.
    Recommend this to any diablo fan

    I didn't really remember why I loved this game this much as it was so simple and linear but said "Meh...I played the heck out of it back then, there must be a reason..."

    Edit : The fun factor didn't last longer than 1-2 brain numbed evenings after all... I would still recommand it but wait for a rebate/sale, not worth 40$ca. After launching it up a couple of times it got me again    I didn't really remember why I loved this game this much as it was so simple and linear but said "Meh...I played the heck out of it back then, there must be a reason..."

    Edit : The fun factor didn't last longer than 1-2 brain numbed evenings after all...
    I would still recommand it but wait for a rebate/sale, not worth 40$ca.

    After launching it up a couple of times it got me again playing "Just one more checkpoint" before i hit the sack...

    Finally stretching it out 2-3 hours going to bed almost by early morning!!

    Something about this game is mesmerizing, almost mind numbing...

    This game is so awesome, this is exactly the legendary game available on PS4 & PS5.
    Remastered and upscaled to 4k makes you wonder how did they get the graphics to be that good 20 years ago on PS2. Gameplay is the star here, once you start playing you're hooked even if you have to get up to do something you just can't put that controller down.
