Feb 8, 2016The best game in the Assassin's Creed Chronicles series. More stealth and a great atmosphere to end the trilogy.
-
Feb 19, 2016Assassin's Creed Chronicles Russia is a good attempt at upping the ante of the franchise but it still suffers from the challenges of the former games.
-
Feb 8, 2016The AC Chronicles subseries ends. Russia is attractive in the revolution of 1918. It's gray and red, with trains, telephones, cables and abundant blood across the streets. Nikolai, the new Assassin, has in front of him a final set of levels and shooting mechanics more dynamic than their ancestors. But he doesn't surprise anyone.
-
Feb 8, 2016Assassin's Creed Chronicles: Russia continues on the heels of their predecessors. The gameplay is pretty much the same and that's why this chapter is a stealth game challenging and fun, but not great. Useful to kill time before the next Assassin's Creed.
-
Feb 11, 2016Even Chronicles Russia could be the best AC: Chronicles game by its presentation and historical setting, it struggles with the same gameplay difficulties and repetitive level design than we found on its predecessors. Unfortunately Chronicles with all its potential as a bidimensional game, it won't be remembered as a good chapter on Assassin’s Creed franchise.
-
Feb 8, 2016The weakest episode gameplay-wise is the best one when it comes to narrative and art. Still, if you enjoyed the previous episodes, this one is worth your time.

Playstation Official Magazine UKApr 10, 2016There are plenty of ideas here, it's just a shame it's so frustrating to get to the good bits. [Apr 2016, p.89]
-
Feb 12, 2016Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: Russia is the best entry in this mini-series.
-
Feb 11, 2016Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: Russia tries its best to be cool and innovative, but in doing so the end result is a repetitive game that overly relies on stealth and a lackluster combat system.
-
Feb 9, 2016As the best game in the Chronicles trilogy, Assassin's Creed Chronicles: Russia delivers some solid sections of stealth play set against a beautiful backdrop, but still falls flat with frustrating level design and uninspiring combat.
-
Feb 9, 2016With Russia concludes the Chronicles series, but unfortunately it does so with a disappointment.
-
Feb 9, 2016A satisfying blend of action, stealth and Russian history, undone by a frustratingly stupid difficulty spike that makes it a red menace.
-
Games Master UKApr 25, 2016Glitchy and too difficult, this makes a disappointing end to a series that never found its footing. [Apr 2016, p.75]
-
Mar 1, 2016The well written and quite interesting story never really takes off and on top of that we get a poor level design with intense "trial and error". The third part of the "Chronicles" trilogy hasn't done anything to escape the grim fate of its predecessors.
-
Feb 12, 2016Assassin's Creed Chronicles Russia may be the last episode of the series, and the last of the franchise for the next full year, but it's not the one that will make us miss the franchise.
-
Feb 9, 2016Had 'Russia' stuck to some of the roots of the main AC series, this could have been an interesting departure from the 3D games. But making the main characters feel paper thin while stacking the deck with inconsistent stealth mechanics, fussy controls, and timed objectives starts to make 'Russia' feel like a weekend in Siberia.
-
Feb 8, 2016There are far better Assassin's Creed games and far better platformers, so this spin-off has nowhere else to go but the gulag.

Apr 19, 2018Hell, I liked it. Probably because it's my first assassin game in chonicles' series or because I am Russian...But the game was totally worth it.
