    Quick background on me the reviewer, I tend to like single player games that is heavy on narrative the most. I also play a lot of racing games and use to play multiplayer games in my high school days but now that it's hard for me and my friends to find a good time to link up so now it’s rare for me to get into a multiplayer game. Up to try any genre of games and sometimes I find something new that I didn't think I'd like. I own a PC (built by me), Xbox One X, Xbox Series X, PS3, PS4, PS5, and a Switch. I prefer Playstation due to their focus on narrative games. For scoring, I’ll be using the Gameinformer review scale and of course influenced by my personal opinions.

    The game’s features may work, but are nothing that even casual players haven’t seen before. A decent game from beginning to end.

    Apex feels like an EAs version of fortnight, there is just so little that makes this game unique. While the gameplay is fun it gets repetitive due to the lack of game modes. It feels like Apex was just a game that jumped on the battle royal train when fortnight was at its peak. Less and and less updates come each year, the game just feels forgotten. Первые пару сезонов были особенно хороши, однако после них по ощущениям игра становилась не такой захватывающей и в нее не хотелось так сильно возвращаться.     A once great br is now a rotting husk due to terrible matchmaking. the only game that will allow 3 pros to team up and faice groups of randoms and noobs. Dont waste your time on this one the glory days of apex were years ago

    Posso dire di essere stato un accanito giocatore di Apex, ma purtroppo la sensazione di noia e staticità che avevo iniziato ad avvertire da qualche tempo ha preso il sopravvento e ora non riesco più nemmeno ad aprire il video game, non che questo sia brutto o oggettivamente noiosa che io reputo giochi come Apex noiosi a lungo andare.

    matchamking doesnt work as well as netcode. and anticheat. and everything. theres no point in playing it unless you have friends to play with but its better to play anything othr anyway

    The positives + the balance is probably at it's best place right now, no op legends , no **** legends. Mirage is still decent despite what people say, you guys are just trash.     + I like also how every map has a different way to get high tier loot.
    + graphics aren't amazing , but for a free to play game they are still solid enough.
    negatives
    - Even though the battle pass isn't terrible , i am still waiting for a decent one to buy for a couple season's long lmao.
    - storm point just feel like a drag. It's to big and when you get in a fight it's always with multiple squads. King's canyon is aight in pub's but in ranked it's a bit to much. Not bad but by far the hardest map to get a win.
    - connection issues still exist
    neutral point:
    - bring some small pve event back i liked those
    - add some new features or a new grenade or something. We just need something to spice it up after 3 years. Control is decent but doesn't feel new.
    Conclusion:
    Apex legends is the best free fps and maby even the best battle royale out there. Smooth gameplay, nicely balanced etc... The only thing the game needs is something fresh and finetuning of stormpoint.
    I give apex legends a 9 out of 10 , when stormpoint is back in ranked it will be back an 8 though lmaoooo    … Expand

    Apex Legends is one of my favorite games, being FPS, I also liked the Legends with their abilities, my main is Octane since it is accelerated.

    Good but not yet great. Would be nice to have a solo mode a least. Currently you can only play with squads of 3 people. Unfortunately, too many times, other players (even using discord), don't listen much to the rest of the team and you end up dying simply because you are alone against another team. So too often you end up having to follow other people who don't play as a team. At leastGood but not yet great. Would be nice to have a solo mode a least.     Apex Legends is an enjoyable battle royale that can be played on almost any system. I've been playing off and on since launch and one of the things that keeps me coming back is the amount of content added to the game. With every season they add new maps, characters, and switch up the weapons. This has kept the game from being stale and makes it more enjoyable overall.     Pretty fun but way too much grinding involved to get any wins. One of the better battle royales as theres different playstyles between the characters.

    The best shooter on the market currently. The gunplay is a bit too fast, and the grind is kinda silly to get new characters.

    Ultimately, it doesn't do anything great, it is merely good. But I'd rather play this to scratch my shooter itch over COD or Battlefield.

    Like any free to play game it is hampered by bugs and server issues however it is the best BR game or best free to play game or currently the best fps game to date. This game truly defined the multiplayer fps experience.

Whoever designed this game' s TTK bs should be slapped in the face. Gone are the days where you kill an enemy by hitting them with 3 bullets. Now you need to use up almost all ammo just to disable them, and oh,This game won't give you enjoyment but will get you infuriated to a point where your day gets ruined. The gunplay audio is also very screechy it hurts my ears even if I'm using Sony Gold Wireless Headset. Gunshots and bullets hitting armors sound like someone is having tantrums while banging a frying pan. The matchmaking is horrible too. It takes 2 hours to find a single battle royal match. Since 2016 I have deleted and reinstalled this game 3 times to my PS4 to see if it has improved but voila it's still **** Deleted it again. I also hate the fact that this does not let you play solo. I am a lone wolf and I hate having teammates who only drag me down.… Expand

    The gameplay is amazing despite not being anything special, and it feels very smooth.
    The characters are different from each other, some characters can act as support and tank while others are offensive.
    The graphics are good and the audio is great.
    Also, game focuses a lot on teamplay with some unique mechanics and items for communication; you can even revive your teammates when they die. Teamplay can get a bit frustrating at times, but it's fantastic when it works.
    What about the flaws? Well, first of all, there isn't enough content, and secondly, the monetization is a little bit messed up; there are few microtransactions but quite too expensive.

    Pros:
    + Fun and smooth gameplay
    + Diverse characters
    + Focuses a lot on teamplay
    + Nice visuals

    Cons:
    - Not enough content
    - Monetization

    Gameplay: 9/10
    Content: ?/10
    Graphics/Audio: 8/10

    Final Rating: 8/10

    i hated battle royal games .. but when i first played apex legends ... it has passed more than 3 years .... this game looks so damn fun ... it has some sever and glitch problem but it's okay overall and it deserve my respect

    best battle royal game, and best FPS for all time i think, i didn't enjoy playing FPS like this from Counter Strike 1.6 like 20 years ago, i write this review after more than 5000 Hours playing; normally i prefer solo games specially from Playstation, but APEX is in another level

Has the best innovations like the creative ping system, the first BR with the respawn concept, ziplines, vaults, etc. Lastly, it is currently the only BR with multiple maps.

    Sadly that is it. The server management is horrible. 60 ping in 1 game then 200 ping for the next. Its gameplay (especially in Ass Canyon and Openlympus) is either:

    1. Find nobody until 10 squads left then after you find and fight 1, the 3rd 4th 5th 69th party comes for your necks
    2. You drop hot and die early game (if you survive the hot drop it would be the same as 1, that is the peak experience for the game)

    I am so tired of the game right now that I moved to a game that prioritizes winning over getting high kills (Valorant). The game is too casual right now (its just for the kills) unlike Valorant which is probably the FPS game with the highest competitive integrity right now. I am new to the game right now and there is no agent that you can play properly without some mastery unlike in Apex a lot of legends (Octane (especially with Revenant), Bloodhound, Seer, Caustic, and Gibraltar just to name a few) are too noob friendly and also the guns (L-Star, Rampage, Charge Rifle, Devotion (especially with Turbocharger) and R301 just to name a few also). Also, there are some annoying braindead legend combinations like the infamous RevTane (its nerfed now but still braindead)

    I also don't like the ranked system. There should be no "freebie rank" in any competitive game but in Apex the real ranked experience starts at Platinum. The consequence at losing in Bronze, Silver, and Gold is just not punishing. You can troll 5 straight games hotdrop and die first then on your 6th game you win the game and every "punishment" you had gets erased. On mid elo and high elo a lot of players just hide for RP until they can get an actual good game - making the system "grind over skill". A player who rats a lot and has horrendous aim and gamesense could get to Plat while a player who has decent aim and decent gamesense could be hardstuck gold because they take fights a lot and get 3rd partied a lot in the process. The ranked system doesn't promote playing smartly. You either rat, grief others while giving up your positioning, or be the one griefed.

    Lastly, the lack of content. Dry af. At this pace, the game is gonna die.

    This game was my favorite FPS at one point but it just stinks right now. I no longer grind it. There is just no reason to. I just play it casually and occasionally. Oh about Arenas. I forgot about it just like the majority of the playerbase.

    TL;DR = Probably has the worst servers in any multiplayer game right now. Ranked system is ass. Meta is braindead. Olympus and Kings Canyon are bad maps. Worlds Edge is good for ranked but also ass for pubs. Storm Point is boring af. Best BR? Yes. By far. Best FPS? No. By far    … Expand

    This game was great for a long time but devs are more committed to designing unappealing skins and map additions as opposed to spending time fixing bugs that have made the game unplayable. Audio bugs, server issues not being able to see certain skins or choose you legend during loadout. If I could give less than a 0 I would.     While there are of course bugs on big new season releases the devs do a good job of fixing them, or trying to make balancing changes in a timely manner.     My favorite Battle Royale, this game is very fun to play, every character plays differently and they have their own unique abilities, the guns feel great to use, the map is very large and there are many areas to explore, there's a lot of chaos happening in teamfights, it's a blast.

    The game feels awesome today. So much events,new suits and “perfectly” balanced characters.Biggest problem - the servers. They’re still garbage,but Respawn said that they asked for money help from EA to improve their most money-making project. We’ll see if that’s true. For now Apex Legends the best Battle Royal game IMHO.

    Over 1000hrs invested in this game. Last few month its literally unplayable for me because of constant server-side lags, and every SECOND game i have been trying to start last week gave me error code:net, 5 minutes of waiting in lobby and abandon match penalty. Fix ur servers, EA.

The gameplay is awesome, the guns are fantastic and the character design is on point, but the way the game runs on PS4 is kinda delusional. It's sad to see a game like this suffer from lag this much, as soon asApex Legends is easily one of the best Battle Royale games out there and it is one of my go-to games just to have fun, but I am more than willing to point out it's shortcomings. The gameplay is awesome, the guns are fantastic and the character design is on point, but the way the game runs on PS4 is kinda delusional. It's sad to see a game like this suffer from lag this much, as soon as somebody starts shooting at you the framerate drops. Also, the fact that there is not a solo mode sucks, I don't want to be forced into teams everytime. Also also, it is obvious that this game was made by EA, everything in this game is pretty much overpriced for what it's worth.     These games are STILL being sold AND they get put on sale (on Steam) despite Respawn and EA KNOWING that the games are completely unplayable for 3 years. The attacks stop temporarily EVERY SINGLE TIME a new season or event trailer is released for Apex, but without fail, the attacks restart within 48 hours (usually MUCH less than that.) Respawn claims to trying to sort things out, but so far NOTHING has been done. I'd like to believe that Respawn is actually working on it, but considering how long this has been going on, I have zero faith in them. Either Respawn doesn't have enough staff available to sort this mess out, or it is actively being ignored, either by EA or Respawn, doesn't really matter who made that call if that is the case.

    On July 4th Apex was hacked across all platforms to display a "Save Titanfall" message and disable matchmaking, which was fixed within hours. The second part is exactly what has been happening to Titanfall since 2019. And Apex runs on the exact same matchmaking engine as Titanfall 1 and 2, meaning that the original hacker, who is in this exclusively to KILL THE TITANFALL FRANCHISE IN IT'S ENTIREITY, will likely target Apex once he is done with Titanfall 2 if Respawn does not act. Since Apex is part of the Titanfall universe.

    I was not involved with the Apex Legends hack, I wouldn't know where to begin, I'm a freaking idiot who just wants to play the games I love, besides I'd be just as bad as this guy if I did something like that against Apex. So I'm acting in the best way I can, by writing this and hoping that people will look into this mess and maybe, just maybe, start holding Respawn's feet to the fire so to speak. So I respectfully ask anyone reading this to not support Respawn untill they commit to fixing this mess once and for all and to hold them to it. A few PR tweets aren't going to fix anything. The problem is that Stryder, the matchmaking engine has been completely compromised, It needs to be retired and replaced with something that would render these attacks ineffective. Titanfall 1 was the first game to fall to this hacker, Titanfall 2 is currently on course to be the second, Don't let Apex become the third.    … Expand

    Apex Legends arguably the Battle Royale available at the time of this review although it is closely followed by Battlefield's Firestorm. It offers a variety of guns, characters and other items. Its movement is the best in its genre which is not surprising since it was developed by Respawn Entertainment.

    Nice ping system and nice respawn system.
    Awful character design.
    Very fun to play.

    A better experience without all the PC cheaters, but also needs better frame rate, it's obvious that the game pretty much never hit the target 60fps needed for a decent shooter game.

    The graphics are good, the music is great, and the gameplay is fun. I played it for about 25 hours and than I got bored. I'll recommend it to you, if you're looking for a nice Battle Royale game.

    Best free game and best battle royale in history so far. The gameplay is super smooth. My only criticism would be the skill based matchmaking, which as a solo queue player, leaves me with suicidal teammates and enemy squads that drip sweat. It would be nice to allow all players off all skill levels to actually duke it out in each casual game. Leave the balanced skill levels to ranked play.

    Apex legends is definitely the best of the battle royal genre in a genre that is so overused and tiresome by this point apex stands out as genuinely good compared to some of the other games in this genre and I am becoming a real big fan of the devs at respawn as they put out another great game like titanfall2 and jedi fallen order.

    Awful servers and netcode - Lag and getting shot around corners are common occurrences.

    Incredibly poor loot distribution, the worst I've seen in any BR.

    Bad matchmaking, where you will be matched with bad players to play against god-tier players.

    Bad features: honestly almost none. Maybe the reload time is a bit too long? (but that just encourages you to pursue extended clips and rewards those who do) And yeah, the elephant in the room is that EA owns Respawn, but they seem to have their hands out of this one unlike Anthem, which already appears to be a full-priced game with microtransactions. This game does the MTs just like Fortnite, which is totally ok in my book. You can play the game perfectly well with them and enjoy them if you get them.    … Expand

    I had fun with this game playing with friends, but that's not much of a compliment. Apex Legends is competent at what it does, nothing more. As a result, the game is as good as your friends.

    It's free, so you might as well play it with someone if you have the time. Just don't try it by yourself.

    This battle royale game is incredible! They have perfected the multiplayer first person shoot 'em up with Apex Legends. It is super addictive. It is great how much effort the developers put in to this ever progressing and changing game!

    I use to love Apex allot, religiously played on it for many seasons. However now season 7 is here, it has become tripe to say the least. Landing then looting you dont get a good weapon, why?...its like a fame of rock, papers, scissors, its getting deleted, because its CRAP.

    Okay, not a great game. This is a lot like Rogue Legends, but I feel that while this game has potential, it's not for me. I've played a couple of matches so far, and unloaded a full clip into one of my opponents, and got destroyed. Maybe I'm just biased because my first couple of matches were trash. You decide. Either way, my rating stays the same.

    Но когда ты игрок 260 уровня, ебучий Платина, имеющий кд 1.1
    -Уебанские платные ивенты (но это уже дело вкуса). Ты платишь много денег, чтобы получить тот или иной скин
    и тебя кидает в группу нубов с уровнем 30-80. То создаётся ощущение, что разработчики слегка нассали игрокам в уши до краёв

    Season 6 is the worste season ever. Rushed and completely changed the whole game making it more like call of duty. TTK is a joke. WTF was respawn thinking **** the casual players they don't buy your cosmetics is mostly the pro players that do

    Absolutely slick. Handles better than any other fps I've ever played, let alone an online server based battle royal. Movement is sublime. Variety of interesting characters that are slowly having their lore fleshed out over the seasons by one of the most dedicated and community engaged Dev teams out there. Simply a 10/10.

    Purely from a gameplay perspective, it’s the best first person battle royale title out there, and well worth dipping into a year on. It’s disappointing that Titanfall 3 seems further away than ever, but for now Apex Legends will do just as well.

    Apex Legends spices up the battle royale formula with hero-based shooter pizazz and its revolutionary pinging system, which helps everyone feel welcome to the team. Though its Season One rollout has been disappointing content-wise and its visual flair remains bland, Apex Legends still has the solid foundation necessary for a free-to-play shooter to survive in the long run. And with 50 million players reached in its first month, it's not like it's slowing down anytime soon. We're all jumpmasters now.
