    This is a frustrating game to play on the PS4. Technically It's not at all optimized for the last gen consoles. There are significant load times between screen in the hub area as well as very poor looking visuals. During firefights with aliens, the toggle button for the skill selection will just not work sometimes leading to party TK's as you try to select the shotgun or some other weapon.This is a frustrating game to play on the PS4. The performance on the PS4 is so bad, I stopped playing it about 5 hours into it.

    From a gameplay perspective, the soldiers shouting the exact same commands over over get extremely repetitive. I think the lead Marine has three things they say every time you have the squad run anywhere. The dialogue in the hub areas is also repetitive and stiffly performed.

    The levels are beautifully realized and I genuinely think there is a great game in here somewhere.

    I think this game needed more time to bake, especially for the last gen consoles. Extremely disappointed. Do not purchase.    … Expand

    Constant FPS stuttering. Selecting moves in slow mode, as aliens are barrelling towards you is impossible because the UI outright doesn't work. Sometimes an alien will stick itself in a wall blocking your access to a story room (it's supposed to be temporary). C4 doesn't work sometimes. Another example of a game being released before it's ready. Don't waste your money. Get something else.
