The Pc Port Is Not Optimized & For A $60 Game It Should Be Playable Start To Finished. I Paid $30 For Hell Blade And It Ran Smooth Maxed Out On Launch With Better Graphics. I Have No Remorse For The Game Industry Because Of How They Put Out Unfinished Products That Barley Play

If you liked the Saints Row series especially Saints Row 4, then you'll probably get some playtime out of Agents of Mayhem, but sadly the game is unpolished and a purely optimized port that has many severe bugs, such as enemies stuck in walls....lairs that are impossible to finish because of enemies stuck in walls (common problem)..or simply not spawning at all....you get the idea, its'If you liked the Saints Row series especially Saints Row 4, then you'll probably get some playtime out of Agents of Mayhem, but sadly the game is unpolished and a purely optimized port that has many severe bugs, such as enemies stuck in walls....lairs that are impossible to finish because of enemies stuck in walls (common problem)..or simply not spawning at all....you get the idea, its' a shame because it is fun to play when the game works as intended, but it doesn't take long for glitches to reappear.

Deep Silver needs to do better, these bugs should not be happening in a $60 release, this clearly needed a few months extra development time to correct some of these issues.

Boring and one dimensional. Unexciting enemies. Very repetitive. Did not hold my interest at all.

The gameplay isn't bad. Sort of an open world GI Joe game. The humor fell flat with me. It runs pretty poorly on the PS4, sometimes going down to the teens when alot of stuff is happening. The amount of wokeism on display is astounding. It's to the level of an SNL parody on politcal correctness (back when they actually made fun of political correctness). On a team of 15 agents there's not one but TWO lesbians, both of whom are romantically involved with women and they make sure you know it. There's only one white dude, and he's a buffoon who is constantly made fun of by the rest of the team. There's 6 major villians, 2 of whom are women, and both are implied to have been innocent until they were manipulated by the evil men around them. It's funny, when you beat the game you get to see pictures of the development team, and they are 99% fat pasty white guys. This is the same company that is developing the Saint's Row reboot, so enjoy that. Expand

Creaky old level design, a loathsome entourage of heroes, and a lifeless open world. [Nov 2017, p.81]

Agents of Mayhem tries and in parts succeeds in reminding us of the golden days of our childhood. Cartoons, evil geniuses, good guys, stylish humor (mostly hit-or-miss) and, of course, tons of pure, entertaining action. The variety between the well-designed Agents is what truly makes the game shine, and it’s a shame that the open world of Seoul is so repetitive and, despite the many colors and explosions, dull. It basically emulates every part of a classic “mediocre open-world game”.

Furious and entertaining city action from Saints Row's creators, benefits from popular team actions, but doesn't offer any real team at the same time. The technical issues, non-attractive missions and unbalanced characters spoil the fun.
