Oh my Lord, this is one of my favorite games.

    - It's heart-wrenching in all the right ways.
    - You get super attached to all the characters.
    - Incredible voice acting.
    - Amazing story.

Honestly I strongly suggest this game if you can get around the pixel graphics and point n' click part of it. (Personally neither of those things bother me, infact i quite like pixel graphics.)

This is a great game. Great cyberpunk graphics, great storyline, a diverse cast and a more-than-underlying political message. I'd give it an 11 if I could.

It makes me sad that these guys got review-brigaded because of the politics on their Twitter account.

For what it's worth, I played this game when it first came out, and I found it to be adorable. Something like a cross between a point and click adventure and a visual noverl, it has amazing stylistic choices and real heart to it. 10 stars! Would play again.

It's a great game that deserves the 10 stars! All the negative votes are just attacking it because it's queer friendly. The music is good, alongside the story, even with the harshest of critics I would give the game a 7.5/10. All the 0's are undeserved and some seem to be from the same user with random/simple usernames.

This is an amazing game that captures what is actually good and important about videogames. It's pure fun from start to finish, I don't have any complains about the game really.

Otherwise, I adored the game and definitely plan to Platinum it. Expand

Fantastically well-written game. There are characters in the game who aren't straight cisgendered nerdboys! If this is a problem for you, probably don't play the game. If, like me, you want charming and excellent queer representation in your lightly transhumanism flavoured cyberpunk, though, definitely give this game a shot.

Extra shout-out to the portrayal of Jess, who I would like to

What an experience, the game plays like a point 'n' click from the 90s and the aesthetic too reeks of the 90s, the characters are memorable and quirky, the music is brilliant and there are quite a number of endings to have you playing through multiple times, the storytelling is broken up every now and then by puzzles/mini games which is fine, although the last one is considerably difficultWhat an experience, the game plays like a point 'n' click from the 90s and the aesthetic too reeks of the 90s, the characters are memorable and quirky, the music is brilliant and there are quite a number of endings to have you playing through multiple times, the storytelling is broken up every now and then by puzzles/mini games which is fine, although the last one is considerably difficult and may frustrate sum. With clever, sharp dialogue and characterisation that defies expectations and the labourious rhythm of standard video game dialogue and development, 2064: Read Only Memories incorporates both the history of cyberpunk fiction with inspiration from the experiences of the LGBT+ community in the United States to tell a unique story of identity and self-actualization.

Combining this with its bright, cheerful aesthetic and excellent sense of humour that ensures its points are never too heavy handed, 2064: Read Only Memories is one of the best graphic adventure games to be released in the last 15 years.

ROM was one of the more enjoyable gaming experiences I had last year. It's a neat little point and click game set in a pretty rad future settings. A really great game, even for people who usually don't enjoy Point'n'click. Story's really interesting, but it was the character development who stuck the most to me. Soundtrack's aced too.

It's really quite cute, I've enjoyed it. The art style is lovely, I love the music, and the characters are enjoyable. I've not finished it yet, but I've spent a few hours so far enjoying a lovely game. I'd truly score it about 7/10, but the brigading is rather poor taste.

I've played this game from start to finish a handful of times and it's definitely one of my favorites in recent memory. It's also the only game I can think of that actually asked me which pronouns to use, which I appreciated as a non-binary person.

A lovely game with great pixel art and a soundtrack that SLAPS. The world leans toward an aesthetically brighter and bouncier vision of the future than most cyberpunk stories, which is refreshing for this oft explored setting. It's also one of the few games that lets you set custom pronouns for the player character; a little thing that meant a lot to me.

2064 ROM is a game about what make humans humans, about politics, about trees, about morality and duality and about you. Don't listen to the bad reviews, this game will give you insight and thoughts about what could happen in the future and what's going on right now around you. I would not spoil you but you can trust me in this one, you will love it

Ah it's subtle and beautiful piece of storytelling that has important insight into many issues we face today as humans (and beyond). It had a succinct and gorgeous aesthetic that shows the care put into its creation. I haven't played a game with better voice acting and I think that added so much to the balance of humor and heart in the game.

One of the best adventure games I have ever had the chance to play - a true evolution of the genre while also being a loving homage to the inspirations that preceded it. A soundtrack that I still hum to this day, unforgettable characters, and confident steps forward for representation in games. Highly recommended!

With a good sense of direction design wise, wonderful pixel art, and giving such a retro feel, it takes on the cyberpunk theme fantastically well, but mostly as an aesthetic, with a good soundtrack, and interesting characters it sure is a keeper!

This game has been on my radar since like, what, 2014? I was quite excited about it at the time, and it did not disappoint!

All around a wholesome package for fans of adventure games out there.

Read Only Memories is a game that needed to exist much more than a thousandth Call of Duty or Dark Souls-like for twitchy adolescents to show off how well timed their button presses are. If it feels like you're being lectured to, it's probably because you haven't had a single godhonest conversation in your life that wasn't focused on abusing a stranger or yelling at your mom to buy you more pizza rolls. Play more games like this, listen to less people who want to rant about "mental illness" while unironically joining campaigns to sink small developers with little means of exposure. Expand

Awesome pixel art, cool take on cyberpunk tropes. I was a big fan of Snatcher, and I feel like Read Only Memories did a great job of taking the cooler parts from that game but modernizing them in several key ways. It's nice to see that the point and click adventure games haven't entirely disappeared. More cyberpunk games like this, please.

This game genuinely surprised me for how incredible of a throwback adventure game it was...there are multiple ways to solve puzzles, the soundtrack and graphics are excellent, I fell in LOVE with the story and characters, and the whole thing just oozed with style and polish. Pretty incredible to have something like this come out in this day and age!

Excellent soundtrack and VA in a very interesting storyline with fun characters. Definitely a great throwback to games like Snatcher. Also the fact it has the ire of trolls wanting to regress society to an imaginary ideal makes me like it even more.

Bugs aside, I had a killer time with 2064. Although series like Phoenix Wright and Danganronpa have successfully reinvented the Japanese-style adventure game for the 21st century, there's a certain allure to the mysterious world of menu-driven microcomputer adventures of decades past. 2064 not only successfully simulates that feeling, it welcomes players of all backgrounds and orientations with open arms. 2064's future is one that belongs to all of us.

2064: Read Only Memories presents an interesting, if not predictable, narrative that is propelled by its strong cast of characters and excellent world-building. It’s refreshing to see a developer put so much care into creating a cast as diverse and interesting as this.

I alternated between enjoyment and stretches of indifference. I am genuinely glad, though, that we have this addition to our growing Western library of visual novel hybrids (!).
