Aug 23, 2023Devs are woke communists that are hateful to the point that they only want a select group of people to play this game.
The art style and it being cyberpunk is good, but I won't support a game made by a far-left hate group. -
Sep 11, 2022Game bleeds wokeness throughout. It's a shame because the story/voice acting is good. I'm not sure if the port is just meh, but there's extreme input lag for password sections or even to type your name in the beginning.

Oct 24, 2021Don't even waste your time with it. Looks terrible, has political agenda, devs are shady.

Aug 29, 2020I am not into pixel-art games, but since i got i give it a try.The story is good and it has good voiceover. But 90% of the game(if you call this a game) is dialogue between the characters. There is almost no gameplay here.If you like storytelling without any gameplay than this game is for you.

May 21, 2020It’s actually a good game. Excellent voice acting with multiple endings. Reminds me of those 80’s cartoons. It’s a shame idiots have been review bombing this game here. Those complaining about it being "political"... that's the actual plot of the game... you know what a plot is, right?

Feb 3, 2020I don't really remember exactly when I got this in my Steam library, but I decided to give it a try within the past couple of months and you know, it's not bad! The music's amazing (seriously, check out "Home (not) Sweet Home" if you're curious), the pixel art is really nice, and the story's engaging. At least to me, anyway. Definitely not for everyone, but I had fun with it.

Dec 6, 2019Somewhat fun but, an insane left-wing political story it can be quite lackluster, not optimized well for PS4.

Mar 16, 2019Buggy interface. Boooooooring story. Mostly nice pixel graphics.
Overall when I saw screens, I thought that this game will be something more point n' clicky. Instead I've got straight forward silly game with really boring narration and story. Not worth money or time. -
Nov 10, 2018Downloaded 2064 when it was free on PS4. I'm a big fan of cyberpunk games. I play a lot of VA-11 HALL-A... which is a point and click game where you play as a bartender. Spent some time playing 2064 and was literally bored out of my mind... almost fell asleep. Uninstalled. Thanks for wasting my time.

Dec 13, 2017Pushes a political agenda and focuses more on using a platform as a "game" to do so than it does on focusing on gameplay. Can't recommend this garbage. MidBoss needs to learn to respect the players beliefs and keep their own to themselves. Ridiculously smug and self-righteous. No thanks.
-
Dec 4, 2017Thinly veiled political message behind a game with uninventive mechanics and horrible story telling. All around weak and boring a very amateurish effort. Plenty of better games around much more deserving of your money.

Oct 31, 2017Looked cute, but the story was forced and the voice acting was horrible.
Its a lazy pixel-art game without a base to stand on.
And being a--holes dosent help your case, just a thought if you are developer. -

Oct 4, 2017I'm a trump supporter guess I'll do what you told me and **** off. adding your devs to my blacklist and will pirate you forever. thanks for being bigots you alt left devs.
-
Oct 4, 2017the team at midboss can screw right off with the politics in saying a slightly shortened version but i quote "dont play our game and just go **** off!" end quote honestly i was thinking of getting this game but now i can tell them to just **** right off back.
-
Oct 4, 2017Made by a bunch of Alt left Pedos, who are racist. I don't support devs who are radical loons who want to enforce there sick views on to others. I will never buy your game and I will make sure to put the word out to every gamer I know to never ever support these people.
-
Oct 4, 2017The game is absolutely terrible and the devs are stuck up and volatile towards anyone who doesn't agree with them. Maybe they should spend more time on the actual game before wasting money on fancy ad campaigns. Huge waste of money.

Apr 30, 2017Did anyone really try when they made this? Overall you can understand there was an idea, but after playing it is obvious that at some point everyone just quit caring.
-
Apr 24, 20172064: Read Only Memories is fantastic; it features beautiful pixel art supplemented by fantastic music and a colorful cast of characters. Its developers also have wonderful political views. 150 words aren't enough to do this game justice -- it must be played!
-
Apr 22, 2017The game was really slow-paced and lacked any depth at all. Awfully boring. I regret wasting my time on this game because it really lacked any gameplay at all. I don't know how this made it.
-
Apr 21, 2017The game was really bad. Don't waste your money on this! I can't believe they actually charge money for this boring game. I couldn't bare to play it for more than an hour.

Jun 12, 2017Bugs aside, I had a killer time with 2064. Although series like Phoenix Wright and Danganronpa have successfully reinvented the Japanese-style adventure game for the 21st century, there's a certain allure to the mysterious world of menu-driven microcomputer adventures of decades past. 2064 not only successfully simulates that feeling, it welcomes players of all backgrounds and orientations with open arms. 2064's future is one that belongs to all of us.
-
Feb 24, 20172064: Read Only Memories presents an interesting, if not predictable, narrative that is propelled by its strong cast of characters and excellent world-building. It’s refreshing to see a developer put so much care into creating a cast as diverse and interesting as this.

Jan 31, 2017I alternated between enjoyment and stretches of indifference. I am genuinely glad, though, that we have this addition to our growing Western library of visual novel hybrids (!).
