Apr 18, 2017Trailers looked decent, game was very lacking in gameplay. Artstyle is okey i guess? If it where released a couple of years ago when the whole "pixel" look wasnt a fad then it might have been somewhat original. Now it just drowns in a sea of uninspired Unity games garbage.

Apr 18, 2017i WANT A REFUND! WHAT A PATHETIC GAME!
Boring, crappy sound, atrocious and annoying character development, and just non-existent meaningful game play. I waited for release date for this game. Downloaded it straight away. I feel I've been ripped off. I've flagged these developers. Never buying another game from them again. What a joke! -
Apr 18, 2017One of the greatest games in a generation from one of the most on-target developers. Mesmerizing visuals, exceptional character depth. One in a million!
-

-
Apr 18, 2017There's no other way to put it - just an awful game. Horrible controls and gameplay feels lacking. Safe bet just to skip this and save the money. Most I would pay for this is maybe $1.99 and even then, you can find better games for that price.
-
Apr 18, 2017
-
Apr 18, 2017Another boring "game" that's not actually a game, but a walking simulator with no interesting story. It would be a better use of your time to purchase paint and watch it dry.
-
Apr 18, 2017This game was bad, so bad I quit after three or four hours despite having paid for it. It has no redeeming quality. It's just a mess of bugs and missed opportunities. I wish I could have my time, and money, back.
-

-
Apr 18, 2017I thought it had potential, but the the puzzles and general gameplay was redundant and quickly became more tedious than fun. The characters were rather droll, but overall stereotypical and even somewhat offensive, yet far from memorable. Overall, lacking in thematic substance and technical challenge.
-
Apr 18, 2017Game was a colossal waste of my time how I spent even an hour playing this is beyond me! The old pong have was more entertaining than this garbage, if i could get a full refund I'd do it in a heartbeat.

-
Apr 18, 2017This was not the game I was expecting. I don't know who the developers were making the game for but it certainly wasn't me. Wish I hadn't wasted my money.
-
Apr 18, 2017This game made me feel warm and good deep down. It's a good story, and the tone of the game through and through is just great, it's an excellent science fiction game.
-

-
Apr 18, 2017All around weak and boring a very amateurish effort. Plenty of better games around much more deserving of your money. Ok maybe the graphics are kind of OK.
-
Apr 18, 2017Games controls are sloppy, art is uninspired, writing feels like it was done from a new person on fanfiction.net. All in all an amateur game. I don't see how this game could be considered good by an objective standard.
-
Apr 18, 2017Repetitive and boring, bad attempt at retro. NOT worth full price at 19.99. If you have to have it, wait until it's deeply discounted, or better yet skip it and buy ANYTHING else. Salt and Sanctuary is cheaper and far better. Frankly burning a 20 dollar bill is more fun than this excuse for a game. Avoid.
-
Apr 18, 2017What an enormous piece of garbage. I had no fun playing this bland, boring, cringy game. The music was awful, too. I'd rather listen to Hillary REEEEEing on repeat. Please stop making video games.
-
Apr 18, 2017Long winded and boring game, lacking direction and relying on outdated tropes to push divisive narratives. Bordering on racially discriminatory micro-aggressions and non-inclusive uses of gender charged langauge from NPCs.
Terrible, low energy game. Sad. -
Apr 18, 2017I didn't give this game a zero because I'm a fan of the genre and usually support indy projects. However, this game's content is the worst I have ever seen. I programmed better games when I was in 7th grade. Don't waste your time or money on this title.
-
Apr 18, 2017This is a game that clearly cares more about messaging than gameplay or user experience. I have to assume that 'all their friends' thought it was great, and wonder if there was anything beyond a minimal QA process. It doesn't perform well, leaves the user feeling empty. Cyberpunk should be fresh and dazzling; this game is neither. Pedestrian retread.
-
Apr 18, 2017This game is pretty awful. I gave it a try hoping it would get better but it didn't. Pretty much every element of the game was a miss. Not trying to be mean
-
Apr 18, 2017It feels like a shell of a game and the writing is terribly sloppy and forced. Basically if you distilled a cringe compilation into a game and added some decent visuals
-
Apr 18, 2017Was looking forward to this game, but unfortunately it is far too buggy to play. Constantly losing frames and it often closes itself, losing all my progress.

-
Apr 18, 2017Breathes new life into a thoroughly neglected genre. And with a strong emphasis on inclusion! A few gameplay and story pitfalls are easily overlooked when this game is just overflowing with heart and style. It's one of my favorite indie titles of the past 5 years and I will come back to it time and again, no doubt.
-
Apr 18, 2017
-
Apr 18, 2017Could gush about the game's looks and writing all day but do yourself a favor and just go play the game. Interesting to note that 100% of the user ratings below a 5 never actually played the game or seen a naked woman irl. Wouldn't be surprised if the bulk of these are from the same people. Sad!
-
Apr 18, 2017Uninspired design in terms of both gameplay and characters. Glitches galore. With so many great games out there to play I honestly can't find a redeeming quality for this... There's no real pull or aspect that sets it above the rest. Don't waste your time.
-
Apr 18, 2017SJW trash agenda pushed into a game. The entire game is nothing but one big left wing message. Do not buy this trash and for the love of god to not encourage this type of crap to keep getting put out!
-
Apr 18, 2017
-
Apr 18, 2017I was hoping for the throwback feelgood game shown in the trailers but it was honestly weak in every aspect. Huge disappointment and likely a historical tale of how not to promote a game pretending to be entertaining.
-
Apr 18, 2017Gameplay feels very outdated and unstable, crashed multiply times.
There's a lot better out there, the day after I finished the game I realized that I really don't have any memories about the story....and that says a lot.
Honestly simply not worth the time or money. -
Apr 18, 2017This is a delightful little scifi game about having a robot buddy and how much you want to love them for being a cute robot pet but robots aren't pets they're people. Love them, but respect them for who they are.
-
Apr 18, 2017
-
Apr 18, 2017A well executed love letter to adventure games and 90's cyberpunk themes. If those two aesthetics sound good to you you can't do much better than this in 2016.
-

-
Apr 18, 2017A brilliant mix between an adventure game and a visual novel. Probably my favourite of this genre since the original Ace Attorney games with smart writing and memorable characters.
-
Apr 18, 2017I didn't find the game enjoyable.
It was slow-paced, the characters were not entertaining and the story was bland.
Not really a game for me, and I've enjoyed literal walking simulators like Esther and Firewatch. -

-
Apr 18, 2017Read Only Memories was a really enjoyable experience, with many cute and memorable characters! I recommend it to anyone who's a fan of interesting sci-fi narratives that aren't all noir-esque or grimdark, especially if you like having lgbt characters that aren't just tragedy-porn. I consider it an 8 or 9 out of 10, but for the purpose of combating garbage review-bombers, I'm giving it a 10.
-
Apr 18, 20172064: Read Only Memories is a cyberpunk point & click adventure game that takes place in Neo-San Francisco in the year 2064. While the soundtrack is good, the story makes the game really unappealing. There are better point & click games out there.
-
Apr 18, 2017
-
Apr 18, 2017Buggy and all around mediocre. Gameplay is completely uninspired. If you want to buy it to support the devs, that's understandable, but you'll ultimately be left with a very underwhelming game.
-
Apr 18, 2017
-
Apr 18, 2017Excellent soundtrack and VA in a very interesting storyline with fun characters. Definitely a great throwback to games like Snatcher. Also the fact it has the ire of trolls wanting to regress society to an imaginary ideal makes me like it even more.
-
Apr 18, 2017The game is amazing. Voice acting makes it even more enoyable. Charming environment and really good writing. Don't listen to the alt-right **** Read Only Memories is great and worth playing.
-
Apr 18, 2017An awful, uninspired, boring game with no actual gameplay. The game's story is completely void of any real meaning, and the gameplay just doesn't exist.
The worst of the worst when it comes to walking simulators -

Apr 18, 2017This game is an absolute treat. It has a stellar soundtrack, lovely cyberpunk aesthetic, fascinating story, and endearing, diverse characters. If you're a fan of point and click adventure games, this is the game for you.
-
Apr 18, 2017This game genuinely surprised me for how incredible of a throwback adventure game it was...there are multiple ways to solve puzzles, the soundtrack and graphics are excellent, I fell in LOVE with the story and characters, and the whole thing just oozed with style and polish. Pretty incredible to have something like this come out in this day and age!

Apr 18, 2017Oh, where do I start!
This game has been on my radar since like, what, 2014? I was quite excited about it at the time, and it did not disappoint!
Great art direction (love the colors!), great music, also a robot is your friend.
All around a wholesome package for fans of adventure games out there. -

Apr 18, 2017Awesome pixel art, cool take on cyberpunk tropes. I was a big fan of Snatcher, and I feel like Read Only Memories did a great job of taking the cooler parts from that game but modernizing them in several key ways. It's nice to see that the point and click adventure games haven't entirely disappeared. More cyberpunk games like this, please.
-
Apr 18, 2017Deeply moved
With a good sense of direction design wise, wonderful pixel art, and giving such a retro feel, it takes on the cyberpunk theme fantastically well, but mostly as an aesthetic, with a good soundtrack, and interesting characters it sure is a keeper! -
Apr 18, 20172064 is by no means a PERFECT game, but I'm of the opinion that such things don't exist, anyway. What it does, it does well: good characters, strong writing, an immersive world, and tons of stuff to look at and explore. It's full of charm and authentically in love with its own premises, and plus, as everyone knows, the soundtrack is bangin'.
-
Apr 18, 2017This is a great game. Great cyberpunk graphics, great storyline, a diverse cast and a more-than-underlying political message. I'd give it an 11 if I could.
-
Apr 18, 2017I found this game's art incredibly charming. I love cyberpunk, and a brighter, more fun version of that genre was very refreshing. Great music, charming characters and a cool plot!
-
Apr 18, 2017Another indie pixel non game where you wonder around not doing **** because there isn't anything to actually do.
The cyberpunk theme would be cool if it didn't look like a PBS kids show. You want to play a PBS kids show? No that's stupid, just like this game. -
Apr 18, 2017Ah it's subtle and beautiful piece of storytelling that has important insight into many issues we face today as humans (and beyond). It had a succinct and gorgeous aesthetic that shows the care put into its creation. I haven't played a game with better voice acting and I think that added so much to the balance of humor and heart in the game.
-
Apr 18, 2017One of the best adventure games I have ever had the chance to play - a true evolution of the genre while also being a loving homage to the inspirations that preceded it. A soundtrack that I still hum to this day, unforgettable characters, and confident steps forward for representation in games. Highly recommended!
-
Apr 18, 2017This game is completely unoriginal. If you're looking for a fun thought provoking story game, look elsewhere. Thankfully, the PS4 has a vast library of better games you can try instead. I do not recommend this one sadly.
-
Apr 18, 2017
-
Apr 18, 2017Lush original music, and now some of the best damn voice acting I've heard in a video game in a long time. Get immersed in the story, setting and unique characters, and don't forget to use the headphones on everything!!!
-
Apr 18, 2017A lovely game with great pixel art and a soundtrack that SLAPS. The world leans toward an aesthetically brighter and bouncier vision of the future than most cyberpunk stories, which is refreshing for this oft explored setting. It's also one of the few games that lets you set custom pronouns for the player character; a little thing that meant a lot to me.
-
Apr 18, 2017The game did not meet expectations and has quite a few bugs that need to be ironed out. The characters were relatively bland as well. Hope to see a better effort next time.
-
Apr 18, 2017When nostalgic love letter to the old adventure games on Sega CD goes right. I came in for Snatcher, stayed with unique and captivating story, setting and broad, fun and well written bunch of character and good thrill of mystery. Extra points for very stellar pixel art and groovy tunes. Good stuff!
-
Apr 18, 2017Definitely not what I wanted from a video game like this. I recommend people avoid it so as to not encourage this sort of thing. Bit of a shame all round.
-
Apr 18, 2017Beautiful pixel art with a cool, retro color scheme, a smart, snappy story, amazing voice acting, & lots of memorable, diverse characters-- just the way I like them. A must-play for aficionados of cyberpunk.
-
Apr 18, 20172064 ROM is a game about what make humans humans, about politics, about trees, about morality and duality and about you. Don't listen to the bad reviews, this game will give you insight and thoughts about what could happen in the future and what's going on right now around you. I would not spoil you but you can trust me in this one, you will love it
-

-
Apr 18, 2017A "cyberpunk" "game" in which the player reads for three hours about how difficult life is for San Francisco socialites in a candy-colored robo-utopia where fursecution is the greatest threat to their comfortable lives.
-
Apr 18, 2017I've played this game from start to finish a handful of times and it's definitely one of my favorites in recent memory. It's also the only game I can think of that actually asked me which pronouns to use, which I appreciated as a non-binary person.
-
Apr 18, 2017It's a great game with a great narrative and some super charming characters. Plus the voice acting is quite charming people like Jim Sterling and Dan Ryckert really delivered. Highly recommended
-
Apr 18, 2017A wonderful throwback to classic adventure games/visual novels like Snatcher. Clever writing, awesome music, and an endearing cast of characters populate a world that feels both distant and all too familiar. Worth checking out! : )
-
Apr 18, 2017It's really quite cute, I've enjoyed it. The art style is lovely, I love the music, and the characters are enjoyable. I've not finished it yet, but I've spent a few hours so far enjoying a lovely game. I'd truly score it about 7/10, but the brigading is rather poor taste.
-
Apr 18, 2017I don't count many games as among my favorites, but this is definitely one of them. An homage to Kojima's SNATCHER, 2064 is a game about identity. No, not gender identity, but what makes something sapient. It's wrapped up in a good mystery with lots of great characters, music, and humor. I can never interact with a plant in a game the same way again.
-
Apr 18, 2017This is an amazing game that captures what is actually good and important about videogames. It's pure fun from start to finish, I don't have any complains about the game really.
-
Apr 18, 2017A really great game, even for people who usually don't enjoy Point'n'click. Story's really interesting, but it was the character development who stuck the most to me. Soundtrack's aced too.
-
Apr 18, 2017
-
Apr 18, 2017a brilliant love letter to the Japanese Point & Click Adventures of the Late 80s and Early 90s. Good sprite work, very amusing dialogue and interesting story.

Feb 1, 2017Garbage game from a garbage developer. As a fan of the cyberpunk genre and growing up with games like Shadowrun, I picked it up. All this is is agenda pushing propaganda. Very poorly done propaganda....Garbage story, garbage sound, garbage gameplay. Get bent, Midboss! I wont make the mistake of buying anymore of your crap games.
-
Jan 30, 2017I bought it, I played it, I regretted it. Go flip hamburgers, MidBoss, and stop making "games."
If you're thinking about dropping money on this, rethink that. Give some money to charity instead. -

Jun 12, 2017Bugs aside, I had a killer time with 2064. Although series like Phoenix Wright and Danganronpa have successfully reinvented the Japanese-style adventure game for the 21st century, there's a certain allure to the mysterious world of menu-driven microcomputer adventures of decades past. 2064 not only successfully simulates that feeling, it welcomes players of all backgrounds and orientations with open arms. 2064's future is one that belongs to all of us.
-
Feb 24, 20172064: Read Only Memories presents an interesting, if not predictable, narrative that is propelled by its strong cast of characters and excellent world-building. It’s refreshing to see a developer put so much care into creating a cast as diverse and interesting as this.
-
Jan 31, 2017I alternated between enjoyment and stretches of indifference. I am genuinely glad, though, that we have this addition to our growing Western library of visual novel hybrids (!).
