Apr 18, 2017Beautiful pixel art with a cool, retro color scheme, a smart, snappy story, amazing voice acting, & lots of memorable, diverse characters-- just the way I like them. A must-play for aficionados of cyberpunk.
-
Apr 18, 2017Deeply moved
With a good sense of direction design wise, wonderful pixel art, and giving such a retro feel, it takes on the cyberpunk theme fantastically well, but mostly as an aesthetic, with a good soundtrack, and interesting characters it sure is a keeper! -

Apr 18, 2017One of the best adventure games I have ever had the chance to play - a true evolution of the genre while also being a loving homage to the inspirations that preceded it. A soundtrack that I still hum to this day, unforgettable characters, and confident steps forward for representation in games. Highly recommended!

Apr 18, 2017It's really quite cute, I've enjoyed it. The art style is lovely, I love the music, and the characters are enjoyable. I've not finished it yet, but I've spent a few hours so far enjoying a lovely game. I'd truly score it about 7/10, but the brigading is rather poor taste.

Apr 18, 2017a brilliant love letter to the Japanese Point & Click Adventures of the Late 80s and Early 90s. Good sprite work, very amusing dialogue and interesting story.
-
Apr 18, 2017I found this game's art incredibly charming. I love cyberpunk, and a brighter, more fun version of that genre was very refreshing. Great music, charming characters and a cool plot!

Apr 18, 2017I don't count many games as among my favorites, but this is definitely one of them. An homage to Kojima's SNATCHER, 2064 is a game about identity. No, not gender identity, but what makes something sapient. It's wrapped up in a good mystery with lots of great characters, music, and humor. I can never interact with a plant in a game the same way again.

Apr 18, 2017It's a great game with a great narrative and some super charming characters. Plus the voice acting is quite charming people like Jim Sterling and Dan Ryckert really delivered. Highly recommended

Apr 18, 2017A really great game, even for people who usually don't enjoy Point'n'click. Story's really interesting, but it was the character development who stuck the most to me. Soundtrack's aced too.

Apr 18, 2017This is a great game. Great cyberpunk graphics, great storyline, a diverse cast and a more-than-underlying political message. I'd give it an 11 if I could.
-
Apr 18, 2017This is an amazing game that captures what is actually good and important about videogames. It's pure fun from start to finish, I don't have any complains about the game really.
-
Apr 18, 2017Ah it's subtle and beautiful piece of storytelling that has important insight into many issues we face today as humans (and beyond). It had a succinct and gorgeous aesthetic that shows the care put into its creation. I haven't played a game with better voice acting and I think that added so much to the balance of humor and heart in the game.

Apr 18, 20172064 ROM is a game about what make humans humans, about politics, about trees, about morality and duality and about you. Don't listen to the bad reviews, this game will give you insight and thoughts about what could happen in the future and what's going on right now around you. I would not spoil you but you can trust me in this one, you will love it

Apr 18, 20172064 is by no means a PERFECT game, but I'm of the opinion that such things don't exist, anyway. What it does, it does well: good characters, strong writing, an immersive world, and tons of stuff to look at and explore. It's full of charm and authentically in love with its own premises, and plus, as everyone knows, the soundtrack is bangin'.

Apr 18, 2017I've played this game from start to finish a handful of times and it's definitely one of my favorites in recent memory. It's also the only game I can think of that actually asked me which pronouns to use, which I appreciated as a non-binary person.

Apr 18, 2017A wonderful throwback to classic adventure games/visual novels like Snatcher. Clever writing, awesome music, and an endearing cast of characters populate a world that feels both distant and all too familiar. Worth checking out! : )

Apr 18, 2017Breathes new life into a thoroughly neglected genre. And with a strong emphasis on inclusion! A few gameplay and story pitfalls are easily overlooked when this game is just overflowing with heart and style. It's one of my favorite indie titles of the past 5 years and I will come back to it time and again, no doubt.

Apr 18, 2017When nostalgic love letter to the old adventure games on Sega CD goes right. I came in for Snatcher, stayed with unique and captivating story, setting and broad, fun and well written bunch of character and good thrill of mystery. Extra points for very stellar pixel art and groovy tunes. Good stuff!

Apr 18, 2017Lush original music, and now some of the best damn voice acting I've heard in a video game in a long time. Get immersed in the story, setting and unique characters, and don't forget to use the headphones on everything!!!
-
Apr 18, 2017This game genuinely surprised me for how incredible of a throwback adventure game it was...there are multiple ways to solve puzzles, the soundtrack and graphics are excellent, I fell in LOVE with the story and characters, and the whole thing just oozed with style and polish. Pretty incredible to have something like this come out in this day and age!
-
Apr 18, 2017Excellent soundtrack and VA in a very interesting storyline with fun characters. Definitely a great throwback to games like Snatcher. Also the fact it has the ire of trolls wanting to regress society to an imaginary ideal makes me like it even more.

Apr 18, 2017Could gush about the game's looks and writing all day but do yourself a favor and just go play the game. Interesting to note that 100% of the user ratings below a 5 never actually played the game or seen a naked woman irl. Wouldn't be surprised if the bulk of these are from the same people. Sad!

Jun 12, 2017Bugs aside, I had a killer time with 2064. Although series like Phoenix Wright and Danganronpa have successfully reinvented the Japanese-style adventure game for the 21st century, there's a certain allure to the mysterious world of menu-driven microcomputer adventures of decades past. 2064 not only successfully simulates that feeling, it welcomes players of all backgrounds and orientations with open arms. 2064's future is one that belongs to all of us.

Feb 24, 20172064: Read Only Memories presents an interesting, if not predictable, narrative that is propelled by its strong cast of characters and excellent world-building. It’s refreshing to see a developer put so much care into creating a cast as diverse and interesting as this.

Jan 31, 2017I alternated between enjoyment and stretches of indifference. I am genuinely glad, though, that we have this addition to our growing Western library of visual novel hybrids (!).
