    Devs are woke communists that are hateful to the point that they only want a select group of people to play this game.

    The art style and it being cyberpunk is good, but I won't support a game made by a far-left hate group.

    Game bleeds wokeness throughout. It's a shame because the story/voice acting is good. I'm not sure if the port is just meh, but there's extreme input lag for password sections or even to type your name in the beginning.

    After several hours in this pixelated click-and-point world I've finally finished the story. It was a slow-paced drive through a weird world full of L+ freaks and discriminative cyber-furries with only one normal    Oh, January 2019, the time when I had no worries and knew nothing about politics and western "culture." This game has just dropped on PS plus and I decided to give it a try.
    After several hours in this pixelated click-and-point world I've finally finished the story. It was a slow-paced drive through a weird world full of L+ freaks and discriminative cyber-furries with only one normal character. You, the player yourself. Wondering why the deuteragonist calls ?self in plural, my eastern block brain couldn't take the amount of propaganda so I failed the "subtle" homophobe test and got the ending number three for you're a bigot, reee!!
    Looking back at this, I laugh and can't believe I was so blind and beat the game and also thought the game was a 7/10 just two years ago.
    This game belongs to oblivion for its blatant propaganda. But at least it was more intriguing than Gone Home (aka "explore your little sister's lesbian frolics") and Tacoma (aka "obese lesbian astronauts solving their relationship"). Gaynor must be proud of you, folks.
    The number on my review is just the number of genders, I give this game a 5/10.    … Expand

    Honestly I don't dislike this game because 80 percent of the characters are gay or trans, I actually found that silly and could careless, I am one of those horrible liberals some on here are complaining this game was made for/by. It is instead a story game which is awesome but the story sucks, the characters aren't likable or memorable, and there is nothing that makes this game unique. Picture Heavy Rain with a horrible story and boring characters-what would you be left with-maybe a walking simulator? Unfortunately this game is even worse due to the fact that it isn't anywhere near as pretty. I finished this whole game because once I start a game I can't put it down till i'm done and finishing this game was a choir. It made me feel the same way Beyond Two Souls, Assassins Creed Unity and Rouge Legacy did-unenjoyable and felt like actual work to play accept Beyond Two Souls looked pretty and had a likable main character and Ac Unity and Rouge Legacy were fun at moments but this game was not. It got to the point where I tried to use the gun that was given to me on Turing and TomCat(your two main NPC's throughout the game's journey) to see if I could get some sort of negative reaction yet I guess I was just threatening to pull the gun not actually doing it. Ehhhh this game was a waste of time-if you're looking for an inexpensive story game just buy ANY of the TellTale games-even the poorly reviewed older ones, and you will have a better experience.… Expand

    Buggy interface. Boooooooring story. Mostly nice pixel graphics.
    Overall when I saw screens, I thought that this game will be something more point n' clicky. Instead I've got straight forward silly game with really boring narration and story. Not worth money or time.

    Downloaded 2064 when it was free on PS4. I'm a big fan of cyberpunk games. I play a lot of VA-11 HALL-A... which is a point and click game where you play as a bartender. Spent some time playing 2064 and was literally bored out of my mind... almost fell asleep. Uninstalled. Thanks for wasting my time.

    Pushes a political agenda and focuses more on using a platform as a "game" to do so than it does on focusing on gameplay. Can't recommend this garbage. MidBoss needs to learn to respect the players beliefs and keep their own to themselves. Ridiculously smug and self-righteous. No thanks.

    Looked cute, but the story was forced and the voice acting was horrible.
    Its a lazy pixel-art game without a base to stand on.

    And being a--holes dosent help your case, just a thought if you are developer.

    The game is absolutely terrible and the devs are stuck up and volatile towards anyone who doesn't agree with them. Maybe they should spend more time on the actual game before wasting money on fancy ad campaigns. Huge waste of money.

    It's a shame a game like this is so underdeveloped, because you can see the potential in it. The art design is fantastic, it's a visual treat. But everything else drags it down. The story is uninteresting and boring. Characters are either archetypes we've seen a hundred times or completely devoid of emotion and motivation. The villain is even worse, it acts like a child and is very annoying, it certainly doesn't feel like it's a threat at any point. The game design is just laughable, everything is on rails, there's no challenge to speak of, you just go from one place to another, talk to people and hope you get sone basic action and move on to the next location. It's like a visual novel in that regard, and it's a shame because you can see the potential for a great point and click game here. I was completely disappointed in this game, and I cannot sincerely recommend it to someone looking for either a great story with memorable characters, or a point and click fan. It fails in both aspects.… Expand

    Did anyone really try when they made this? Overall you can understand there was an idea, but after playing it is obvious that at some point everyone just quit caring.

    The game was really slow-paced and lacked any depth at all. Awfully boring. I regret wasting my time on this game because it really lacked any gameplay at all. I don't know how this made it.

    Possibly the worst game on the market, an embarrassment to gaming. You would think these guys had some time to put into the game, but clearly not, its awful. I recommend you play with a dead mouse than this garbage, dont waste your time, its truly the worst game on earth.

    I'm a big fan of Indy projects and the premise of this was great, unfortunately it's predictable and fails to really emotionally connect or engage the player in any meaningful way. Many of the narratives are at best disjointed and feel pressured and out of place...     Boring. Trite, played-out characters and themes. I played a few hours and wanted to kill myself. I couldn't force myself to slog through it. I LOVED Snatcher, and to see THIS as the game that's allegedly carrying its torch? Awful.

    I tried to like this game, but the voice acting was just very terrible. The storyline is very boring and linear, luckily though Steam was nice enough to refund this purchase so it could be spent on a game worth my time. I am glad that Steam refunded this terrible purchase and allowed me to buy the Pepe the Frog game along with Praise Kek!

    This is a complete amateur hour of fisher-price game design. Terrible gameplay, do not buy. Developer needs to reevaluate their life choices.

    Was the person responsible for the control scheme on drugs? Completely unplayable. Seriously? Hire a competent person for this job at the very least. At least I got my refund.

    This gameplay is extremely boring and the story offers nothing at all to keep you interested in playing. I would recommend that you don't waste your money on this one.

    Bugs aside, I had a killer time with 2064. Although series like Phoenix Wright and Danganronpa have successfully reinvented the Japanese-style adventure game for the 21st century, there's a certain allure to the mysterious world of menu-driven microcomputer adventures of decades past. 2064 not only successfully simulates that feeling, it welcomes players of all backgrounds and orientations with open arms. 2064's future is one that belongs to all of us.

    2064: Read Only Memories presents an interesting, if not predictable, narrative that is propelled by its strong cast of characters and excellent world-building. It’s refreshing to see a developer put so much care into creating a cast as diverse and interesting as this.

    I alternated between enjoyment and stretches of indifference. I am genuinely glad, though, that we have this addition to our growing Western library of visual novel hybrids (!).
