I used to love playing Yu-Gi-Oh with all neighborhood kids after school but after loosing my cards during a move (box was misplaced and never found) I sort of faded out of the whole Yu-Gi-Oh scene. It seemed to expensive at the time to start collecting again so I just moved on to the next hobby. Seeing this game for $10 just brought that little kid in me back to life. It wasnt to hard getting used to all the new rules, the tutorial wasnt much help there. The games difficulty starts off pretty low, though with the trash deck they give you it had better. It doesnt take all that long to acquire more cards you just have to be lucky enough to get decent ones. After only a couple of opponents the difficulty goes from easy to HOW THE HELL AM I SUPPOSE TO BEAT THIS GUY. Overall its a great game for Yu-Gi-Oh fans both new and old. I just wish there was a trading system implemented and a better soundtrack. Also the option to view 3-d battles, I mean come on Forbidden Memories had that option and it released 13 years ago. Expand

I am fan of the Yugioh Power of Chaos Series on PC. I think the Yugioh games would be great if the played out like the Eye of Judgement game, but that a different topic on its own. I think this version of Yugioh would be better if the game was more designed like the POC series, not only would it make you feel like you were playing against a real opponent, but that you actually could win some nice cards as you try to collect them in the game. Nice way of incorporated the lead characters from the TV series, but it would've been more fun, it they also had other characters from the respective TV series to duel against. Yugioh is great, but there is always room for improvement. Expand

It fails to catch the player, but if you make an effort to go deeper and deeper, then it does deliver the experience it promises.

Yu-Gi-Oh! Millennium Duels is mainly for the fans. While newcomers may be able to appreciate the depths of this card-based battler, its low-frills presentation makes it a difficult sell.

I'm surprised Konami hasn't taken the opportunity to develop a free-to-play Yu-Gi-Oh! game, given how well suited the free-to-play model is for the genre, but as a very old-school approach to digital CCG, this is a decent effort that will appease Yu-Gi-Oh fans, and perhaps even convert one or two new ones.
