The slight noises characters make are so annoying and you cannot skip cut scenes, this is a zombie game I do not need to see a montage of pictures of people I met the previous level, I believe I can remember them. Poor camera angles. DO NOT BUY THIS GAME at any price seriously it is terrible unless you like Yakuza 4 or you want to take a trip back in time to when video games where terrible. Expand

Tokyo is under zombie attack and only the Japanese mafia can save it!!
Good plot, but the game poorly executed.
When it works, it works well and gunning down hordes of the hapless undead is chaotic fun like Dead Rising. But sadly this ddoesnt last, the clunky camera controls and extremely poor aiming system will leave you as easy meat. I'm really not enjoying this game at all, and just

As a zombie slaying game, Dead Rising 2 Off The Record is a much better game, and will probably cost you less money.
As a Yakuza game, Yakuza 3 and 4 are a million times better than this.
I love Yakuza, but this is a poor entry into the franchise.

By including zombies and guns, Sega have provided something new to its cumbersome, juggernaut of a franchise; but it’s been done much better elsewhere.

A zombie-outbreak in the Yakuza makes for a fresh change of pace. Unfortunately that really says it all, because Dead Souls misses the nuance and class of previous installments. It's not even the presentation or story, but mostly the game mechanics that disappoint. Shooting zombies is what you'll be doing most in Dead souls and by the end of the game you'll long for the 'regular' Yakuza experience.

The problem with Yakuza: Dead Souls is that it's a game full of wasted potential. The story is fun and the atmosphere is excellent, but the broken controls and awkward camera make this game more frustrating than fun.
