Dec 24, 2020Story: 8: Gameplay: 8; Graphics: 8. The first game in the series, although not as good as it's superior sequels, is still a good game. The graphics is pretty great in 2007, the combat is engaging but some levels are so frustating to play. The story is overall good despite the fact that Drake left Sully when he got shot wth???

Jul 25, 2020A highly entertaining game for the first two-thirds, let down by extreme repetition and an abrupt upsurge of difficulty during the final laps.
Easy to see the groundwork being laid for the sublime Last of Us series, though, and I very much look forward to playing the subsequent games in this franchise (Uncharted 2 being the one everyone seems to rave about)! -
Oct 23, 2017Compared to other titles during its time, graphics look amazing. The storyline is grade-a and the character development is outstanding. If anything, the controls are horrible. If not for the story I would suggest Uncharted 2.

Jun 21, 2020fun story, but veryyy janky combat with lots of insta-deaths and a very poor and fustrating final boss

Jul 12, 2020Uncharted Drake’s Fortune is a game I could consider calling it a fun platforming action-adventure game that totally feels like a movie inspired by Indiana Jones and it is pretty amazing. No wonder why Naughty Dog decides to make a huge leap after the Jak franchise with this fun action platformer that started it all.

Jun 20, 2020I have played the game after playing the 2nd one, but it still held up very well. It's a brilliant adventure game with a good balance of story and action. It is linear, but takes us for a great adventure. The graphics were amazing at the time and although there were a few hick ups, the controls played very well.

Jun 13, 2020Even with all the reservations, the time of the release of the game, crooked fights and bad acrobatics, the game is clearly good even now and holds the level as in the fourth part. Great game, great story, disgusting final boss, LOL

Oct 29, 2017Muy buen juego de Naughty Dog. Me siento con la obligación de decir gracias por haber creado esta hermosa saga, protagonizada por un hermoso personaje como es Drake.

Feb 26, 2023I recently played the game via the PS4 collection and overall the game is fun and the story is great, my only complaints are the wave runner/jet ski parts which are awful, constantly getting shot at, and Drake running slow like he's always in mud... That being said it's still a fun game with great graphics... : )

Oct 16, 2017It is quite light and enjoyable game.
Linear, sure, but story is pleasant to follow and watch (cut-scenes included).
Game is technically well made and balanced. Controls are simple and feel quite natural. Variety of different situation, actions and places you go makes this game not monotonous.
I love that trophies are actually not so difficult to get, even though a guide may be needed. -
Dec 23, 2017Everything's fun and exhilarating, but it never builds to more than the sum of its parts. Just keep your expectations in the right place, and you'll enjoy your time in the tropical sun.

The final sum is far greater than the individual parts. Maybe you don't dig the combat or maybe the pop-in gets you down, but the overall package of an endearing story, outstanding score, great performances and fun gameplay should put this title on the top of your holiday wishlist.

This game is one of the most immersive gaming experiences I've had this year, and it's definitely a great reason to own a PS3. The mix of platforming and gunplay worked really well and left me craving the next title in the series.

By starting with a great control and camera system, building on that with excellent combat and a wonderful spin on Ico's platform adventuring, and then topping it off with a decent storyline, Naughty Dog has cooked up one of the most relentlessly entertaining, fat-free games to emerge in ages. Topped off with the most stunning use of the PS3's underused technical prowess yet, Uncharted: Drake's Fortune is, for my money, the first must-have PlayStation 3 title.
