    Really just forgettable compared to the sequels. It looks a bit dated, with a saturated color-palette, the environments aren't really memorable, and blend together by the end. The gameplay (not many guns like the later entries, and also the most simplistic climbing) and story also aren't much better.     A super game especially considering when it was made. Too many needless climbing and jumping tasks, and a handful of bizarre puzzles. I had to YouTube to figure out. Fantastic story with great dialogue. The finale for me was a bug-ridden mess, that made me leery of subsequent Uncharted titles. I would have rated a 9 if not for the finale mess. Very fun, engaging & addictive game.

    Like a lot of people i came to this after playing it's illustrious sequels and though Uncharted 2 & 3 had bigger set pieces and slightly more refined controlls this is still everything we've come to love about Drakes adventures;

It didn't exist, and the final fight in the ship could have been more beautiful and pleasant (just like the final fight of Uncharted 4 or TLOU 2), the story of the game was also beautiful, especially at the end, when it became extremely exciting and stressful (from Since the Daemons attacking Nathan and Eddie really increased the level of the story of the game), I wrote this review in 2023 and you definitely can't ignore the other Naughty Dog games from 2007 to 2023, and I'm the only one for this reason. I will lower the score because other Naughty Dog games are more attractive compared to Uncharted 1... Overall, this was a very attractive and excellent game.… Expand

Its nicely cinematic in style with pretty graphics and likeable characters which makes up for a few niggles like the occasionally wayward camera angles making for some overly fiddly platform sections.     In my experience, it's one of the best games of Ps3. I have no doubt. The characters are able to concern you and the plot is amazing. The reason I don't put the 10 is due to sequel are better than it.

    The first PS3 I completed and very much enjoyed. It is a visual delight and story-telling masterpiece. The game play echoes of Tomb Raider, but creates a niche of its own. The lead characters are very comical and lovable and you can see the chemistry bubbling between Nathan and Elena throughout the game. Breath-taking stuff.     Amazing game. Fantastic story. Interactions between the characters made the game extremely realistic and made me feel like I was inside the game. Gameplay, story, presentation of the story, level design, everything is amazing.

    This game does nothing special and even manages to struggle with simple elements of any shooter game. Games like that are responsible for the idea of "shooter games are not made to console". Shooting heads, doing flicks, and being versatile are crazy hard in this game because Naughty Dog can't understand what makes shooter games so good to the niche community (I mean, niche at the time, since everybody plays some shooter rn). If you are a casual player, this probably won't bother you though.

    Another element that is present mostly in the game and is mediocre af is climbing. Or fake climbing, being accurate. Is so scripted that becomes boring. You almost can fail and precision was never in the discussion. Just spam X to jump and you are good. That's sad since climbing should be the identity of this game. Also, there's not much scenario variation.

    The story is much simple. Really predictable. But to be honest, its uncommitted tone matches with Drake. I also consider him fun, with made the experience a little better. The characters are good either. I liked some jokes either.

    Anyway, I expect the next game to correct some mistakes from this one. Since it's a 2007 game, I understand at some point. Even then, my experience was not great.    … Expand

    The fascinating plot does not let you get bored throughout the game. It has everything: interesting puzzles, exploration of ancient ruins, shooting, and horror elements at the end. A solid 9 out of 10.

The shoot and cover is not bad, but kinda tidious with unending waves of enemies. Some modesty in number of enemies would suite the whole game better.     I loved the characters in this game and the combat was difficult which is refreshing in today's games. You will be hard pressed to find many action/adventure games in the system that are as good as this game

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I played the Remastered version of Drakes Fortune as part of the Nathan Drake Collection on PS4. This is the first time I’ve ever played an Uncharted game and while the first game is definitely showing its age, and is quite frustrating in parts (such as the jet-ski sections and that damn final boss!) it’s still good fun. I really enjoyed the characters, humour and cheesy action movie style and of the game and I am looking forward to playing the future instalments.… Expand

    I recently played the game via the PS4 collection and overall the game is fun and the story is great, my only complaints are the wave runner/jet ski parts which are awful, constantly getting shot at, and Drake running slow like he's always in mud... That being said it's still a fun game with great graphics... : )

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. At this day and age, the Uncharted series has become synonymous with cinematic storytelling and third person action adventure. However, when Naughty Dog first revealed Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, everyone was skeptical of their ability to pull this off. Before this, Naughty Dog was known for franchises like Crash Bandicoot and Jak and Daxter, which were nothing like Uncharted. However, Drake's Fortune released to good reviews, and a promising start to an unexpected franchise.
    The initial premise of Uncharted is Nathan Drake and Elena Fisher have found the coffin of Sir Francis Drake, and when opened, the coffin was empty, except for a journal. This journal outlines a search for the mystic El Dorado, and you set off with a third friend named Victor Sullivan.
    The story is very fun and engaging, even with some horror elements that I most definitely did not expect.
    Even for a PS3 Launch title, the graphics of this game hold up surprisingly well. Part of this can be attributed to the fact that the version I played was the remaster on the Nathan Drake collection, but the original still looks good. Character models are good for the most part, with maybe a few sharp edges, but the facial animations are the most dated part of the presentation. The environments are beautiful, lush, and so full of detail it's hard to believe they were made in 2007.
    Exploring this game is a reward of it's own. It's just so cool to find a little nook you wouldn't have seen otherwise and you might even find a treasure, the main collectable of the game. The verticality of the level design is very fun, so it doesn't feel like all you do is walk on a straight path. However, the climbing itself, while not bad, doesn't feel very precise, and I had many deaths where I was very confused why I fell.
    That dated feeling also seeps it's way into the shootouts. While fun and engaging, the cover system doesn't always work, and I found times where I got hit and i couldn't figure out from where. One other thing I noticed that worked as a blessing and a curse was the lack of an aim assist. I played Uncharted 4 first, seeing how it came with my PS4, and I didn't get the Nathan Drake Collection until later, and I turned on aim assist, because I'm very bad with console aiming. However, because I was forced to learn to aim with Drake's Fortune, I actually felt like I was getting pretty okay. It forced me to learn a skill that I didn't have, and while I hated that at the beginning, I appreciated it as it went on.
    The A.I is in this weird spot where it is simultaneously ridiculously smart and incredibly dumb at the same time. The moment I would walk into a room, every enemy immediately knew where i was, and I always knew my position, even if I changed spots and the actual enemy models never saw it. A fun time to be sure, but a flawed one.
    The soundtrack is incredibly good, always kicking in when it needs it the most. It's varied and dynamic, with many different instruments that you normally wouldn't use in an orchestra.
    However, I do have one rant:
    CHAPTER 18 CAN GO DIE IN A HOLE AND NEVER COME BACK. THE ENTIRE TIME SPENT ON THAT BOAT WAS STRESSFUL, BORING, AND TEDIOUS. THERE'S NOTHING FUN ABOUT WALKING THROUGH A BUNCH OF HALLWAYS, ONLY TO BE JUMPED BY AT LEAST 3 EL DORADO ZOMBIES EVERYTIME YOU ENTER A NEW AREA, AND ONCE YOU FINALLY TURN ON THE POWER, EVERY DOOR OPENS UP, AND WAY TOO MANY MORE ZOMBIES SHOW UP. NOTHING IS FUN ABOUT THIS PART. Rant over.
    As the first try on this genre of gaming, Naughty Dog did a very good job, and despite it's flaws, it's a fun, exciting time. It established the groundwork for the sequels to take and polish to an absolute gleam.    … Expand

    Uncharted 1 começa uma história para sony, com sua historia de uma pessoa querendo ir atrás de um tesouro. Você sente aquela aventura. Não achei repetitivo em nenhum momento mesmo tendo zerado 2 vezes uma no difícil e outro no muito difícil, no jogo tem outro nome pra essa dificuldade mais não lembrei. Enfim recomendo começar com o Uncharted    platinado no ps3- tempo de jogo 40 ou 45 horas

Não achei repetitivo em nenhum momento mesmo tendo zerado 2 vezes uma no difícil e outro no muito difícil, no jogo tem outro nome pra essa dificuldade mais não lembrei.     Cuando me enteré de que Naughty Dog sacaba esta entrega y no un nuevo Jak and Daxter me preocupó, pero realmente fue un juegazo finalmente. Un juego de aventuras y cazatesoros que engancha un montón, siendo shooter en tercera persona pero con un gameplay que no era cargante como otros, centrado en mostrarte una experiencia pulida y emocionante. Recomendadísimo.

    This is my first ps3 game and my first non-JRPG game. As a kid I was very addicted to JRPG games I refused to play anything else. This game not only broke me out of the JRPG loop, but made me fall in love with action games. This game has great voice acting, great writing and a very good action game that was so realistic and shooting all of the bad guys was a lot of fun as well.     I love the Uncharted series and it is probably my favourite game series at all. But I have to say, even though this game is the beginning of the series, it did not age well. Playing it to day can really be a pain sometimes. In terms of story, it´s the typical Uncharted game type, so the story is of course great and fun.

    This game was good and when I first picked it up it was because it was not much at the time. It’s a great game but the climbing is not 100% assisted yet for this one allowing you to easily accidentally jump off a ledge plummeting to your doom.

    This game is awesome. Definitely outdated but the nostalgia helps a lot. The charming characters such as drake, sully, and elena are amazing, the gameplay doesn't hold up well now but it isn't the worst gameplay ever. It's a good entry into a great series and I recommend it.

    Played only for the story, but after that I realised - it wasn't worth it. Id better did that on youtube.

Бежишь стреляешь, стоишь стреляешь, сидишь стреляешь... детская загадка, опять стреляешь. Вроде нашел потайной ход, куда не ступала нога человека 500 лет, думаешь вау круто, сейчас что-то будет интересное в подземелье, заходишь за угол и... "Вот он, мочи его!" слышишь сразу от болванчиков с автоматами, которые любят пострелять в стену, и так всю игру. К чему спрашивается нужны эти загадки, если даже оболтусы с автоматами давным давно уже там. Более менее интересная концовка и музыкальное сопровождение, за это ставлю 3 балла, за саму игру 0. Прошел ради того чтобы пройти и попробовать остальные части.… Expand

    Feels like you're playing a movie, there are more plot contrivances/conveniences than I would've liked and the characters aren't as good as I was hoping but overall it's a pretty solid story and a lot of really good action set pieces

    This game does not hold up at all. Extremely repetitive gameplay, terrible gun play, and never ending annoying missions.

    The one saving grace of this game was the excellent characters, interesting Indiana Jones-like story, and funny dialogue. I cannot recommend that anybody try this out as a video game. It would be a much better experience to just watch the cutscenes or a let’s play.

Uma ótima interpretação da lenda contada que também existe na vida real, e com ótimos personagens, momentos de ação e exploração. It's fine- some truly engaging combat and action sequences. At the same time, I suppose I am not the biggest 3rd-person cover shooter fan, so I found that part of the gameplay was not to my tastes so much. Still, otherA fun time overall.     Uncharted Drake's fortune has a very solid story that has many surprising moments and interesting characters.     Uncharted Drake's fortune has a very solid story that has many surprising moments and interesting characters. The gameplay is very good when it came out, but it can still hold up pretty well even with some outdated gameplay mechanics.
    Furthermore, the pace is very well organized with sections that give suspense to the player, and other related to exploring, shooting and climbing moments.
    The graphics are awesome, especially for 2007, with various locations like forests and abandoned ruins where the game give its full potential.
    Of course there are certain sections where there are less details, but it's only a minor problem compared to the rest of the beautiful locations. I recommend it still in 2022!    … Expand

I hope to someday find whatever the dev team was smoking when they thought that would be a cool and fun idea so that I can be so indescribably high and make the worst decisions of my life. This is the only review I have ever left for anything and probably ever will. Just can’t believe 1) that they would add that storyline and 2) that they try and drag it out so long. In conclusion, yeah just a terrible idea so whatever. Fun game I guess but that part just filled me with rage because why would you ever do that.… Expand

El Indiana Jones de Sony, y la primer aventura del Ladrón saqueador de tesoros: Nathan Drake en busca del Dorado, la historia se trata de Nathan Drake un saqueador Ladrón de tesoros que va tras la pista del tesoro de su antecesor Sir Francis Drake que lo conducirá al tesoro del Dorado, junto a su amigo y mentor Víctor Sullivan y una reportera que será el interés romántico de Nathan Drake que se llama: Elena Fisher, y deberán encontrarlo antes que el rival de Nathan Drake, Eddy Raja y sus hombres, y también antes que unos matones que Sully les debe mucho dinero tienen otro ejercito llamados: Gabriel Román y Atoq Navarro; en cuanto a jugabilidad es un poco genérico el juego y recuerda a la ya vista en Tomb Raider y Gears of War, puesto que Triangulo es el botón de acción con el cual interactuamos con el escenario y cogemos armas y munición, cuadrado sirve para pelear cuerpo a cuerpo cuyo combate es el más simple de todos, círculo es para rodar en el suelo y cubrirnos en balaceras, con equis saltamos, trepamos y hacemos parkour, en cuanto al manejo de armas con L2 apuntamos y con R2 disparamos, con R1 recargamos el arma y con L1 lanzamos granadas (solo en la versión de Nathan Drake's Collection), con las flechas del mando podemos cambiar de tipo de arma la de la Izquierda para armas de mano como: pistolas o uzi y la derecha para armas largas como: AK-47, M4, Escopetas, Rifles Francotirador o Lanzagranadas, y hacer mención especial a la flecha de abajo que solo en la versión original de PS3 puedes seleccionar granadas y lanzarlas, y la flecha de arriba en la Nathan Drake's Collection sirve para dar consejos y ver cosas del escenario o ver para donde hay que ir, pero en la version original de PS3 en L1 o L2, no me acuerdo, y por ultimo con select (el Botón tactil de PS4 en la Nathan Drake's Collection) sacas el diario de Sir Francis Drake y su mapa para que te dé consejos y te ayude con algunos Puzles, en conclusión la jugabilidad es muy básica y genérica pero terminará entreteniendo tarde o temprano, en cuanto a gráficos estuvieron bien para el año en que salió en 2007 y mostraba la capacidad gráfica de la nueva en ese entonces PS3, pero hasta ahí, ya que los gráficos envejecieron un poco mal para tiempos modernos y los gráficos hace ver a los personajes como de plastilina y cartonados en tiempos modernos sin embargo tiene una buena iluminación el juego y se nota a la hora de perder salud ya que nuestro hud de salud es el color de la pantalla del juego, en cuanto más blanco y negro se ponga la pantalla más perdemos salud hasta morir, lo cual me pareció súper innovador la primera vez que jugué el juego en PS3, en cuanto a la banda sonora es el punto más débil del juego ya que tiene temas muy básicos, llanos y genéricos y solo destaco el tema principal del juego que el de Nate, en cuanto a dificultad es muy desequilibrada ya que en parte los tiroteos son muy difíciles ya que hay que darle como mil balazos para que se mueran los enemigos, pero en parte la parte de Puzles y acertijos es muy fácil y creo que la más fáciles de los Uncharted, lo cual es casi una decepción; en conclusión el Uncharted 1: El Tesoro de Drake es un juego entretenido y divertido pero peca de ser un poco básico y genérico.… Expand

    The final sum is far greater than the individual parts. Maybe you don't dig the combat or maybe the pop-in gets you down, but the overall package of an endearing story, outstanding score, great performances and fun gameplay should put this title on the top of your holiday wishlist.

    By starting with a great control and camera system, building on that with excellent combat and a wonderful spin on Ico's platform adventuring, and then topping it off with a decent storyline, Naughty Dog has cooked up one of the most relentlessly entertaining, fat-free games to emerge in ages. Topped off with the most stunning use of the PS3's underused technical prowess yet, Uncharted: Drake's Fortune is, for my money, the first must-have PlayStation 3 title.
