    Uncharted Drake’s Fortune is a game I could consider calling it a fun platforming action-adventure game that totally feels like a movie inspired by Indiana Jones and it is pretty amazing. No wonder why Naughty Dog decides to make a huge leap after the Jak franchise with this fun action platformer that started it all.

    I dont know. Ps3 era was when i least played video games in my life, that's why I play so many old games nowadays. trying to experience the one's i missed. But was this THAT good, in it's days? (luckly I wasnt the one to decide, because i'm playing the third one now, and its a lot better so far, and i've already finished the 4th and rather liked it (I know, i know, shouldn't have started by the last entry, but, hey, it is what it is), but seriously. this is tomb raider minus the charm of the character plus a man.
    and I really think this last part is what made the ~~gamers like it so much. Ok, tomb raider still is a very respected game, etc., but in my mind the easier acceptance of uncharted can only be related to the GUY main character.
    Though this game to be rather boring and cheesy and uncreative. Maybe the fact that i'm playing it over ten years after release has something to do with it, but i'm playing older games every now and them, and it hasnt happened all that much.

    Its a fun game, with fun characters and a fun story, but a lackluster and repetitive gameplay holds it back. The characters and dialogues are not exactly well written too.

    I really don't like this game. the combat parts really aren't that good and the puzzels are just not fun.

    The character also moves way too clunkey making the 'platforming' parts absolutely horrible.

    The story also isn't interesting.

    I know all these problems have to do with the fact that this game is old but that doesn't matter, the game still sucks.

    Me ha encantado su historia, Es Divertida su historia con el personaje de nathan drake que es muy carismático pero su jugabilidad no me termino convenciendo Al 100% pero Llevaba siempre un buen ritmo, pero igual Tenia sus errores puntuales

    Looking at every title in the large Uncharted series, this one is the weakest right now. It served to establish the franchise and prove that Naughty Dog could do great adventure games on the PS3 and it probably was a massive hit at the time but it's 2020 and I finally played it to    The matter of fact is, I like Uncharted but it is undeniable that the game didn't age that well overall.

The characters were super charismatic even in this first game but the story was only decent and pretty short compared to the rest of the series.

    In a game with so much emphasis on the environment and graphics, it does not look that good today. The gameplay is decent and straight-forward with okay-ish puzzles. I still recommend this one to fans of Uncharted. Knowing the roots of the series is a good thing, but that's all Uncharted is worth in my opinion.    … Expand

    Me gusto mucho este juego pero viéndolo en retrospectiva no es el mejor de la saga pero aun así es el el comienzo de una gran saga.

    Un juego de disparos en tercera persona entretenido, con una historia interesante (aunque al final un poco decepcionante) y unos personajes entrañables, unos de los grandes imperdibles de PlayStation 3.

    Eu gostei muito do 4 mas esse não me cativou, a história pode ser interessante, mas é espaçada por longos trechos de gameplay em que você lida com inimigos esponja-de-balas e escaladas não-responsivas, felt like a chore. Pode ser que acenda uma chama em mim que dê vontade de zerar, mas por enquanto eu só cheguei na metade e não aguentei.

    Uncharted Drakes Fortune spawned a great series of games. The story is great, filled with great characters. Gameplay evolves throughout the series, but this is a great starting point.

    Even though this is definitely the worst entry of the saga, it is still a good game.
    - Story is interesting, although it lags variety and gets stagnated at some points.
    - Gameplay is fun, but it may get a bit clunky sometimes.
    - Technically it is great and marked the start of what Naughty Dog would become later.
    Overall a nice and fun action/adventure game, which is worth giving a shot.

    The game starts off very dull, and sometimes I wanted to quit. It bothered me that even tough the game is about exploration, the maps are very linear. But, after a while, the game's rhythm and dynamics improved a lot, mainly in the shooting sections, so it's something definitely worth playing.

    Throwing grenades in this game was a pain in the butt. Also didn't really care for the jetski sections. But other than that it's still a good game.

Having played Uncharted: Drake's Fortune five or six times now, I know it isn't perfect - the combat into endless waves of enemies can feel tedious, and the set and puzzles feel semi weak, especially if you compare them to games later in the series... but regardless. This is the game that started it7.5/10 I am a long time fan of Uncharted - this is the game that got me into gaming! Having played Uncharted: Drake's Fortune five or six times now, I know it isn't perfect - the combat into endless waves of enemies can feel tedious, and the set and puzzles feel semi weak, especially if you compare them to games later in the series... but regardless. This is the game that started it all, and it has all the core ingredients of what makes an Uncharted game.     Eu tô zerando todos os jogos da franquia Uncharted, então estou zerando e postando minha avaliação aqui. Este em específico por ser o primeiro e de 2007, é um excelente jogo tendo a visão da época, mas que pros padrões atuais é um pouco genérico, principalmente a história, eu avalie como se eu tivesse jogado na época, logo é um jogo muito bom, mas não perfeito.     Serving as the starting point to one of gaming's greates series, Drake's Fortune skilfully introduces us to characters who we will go on to love for many years. Despite it's great characters and fun story, the gameplay feels quite stiff and can get very repetitive after a few hours of playing. Overall a must-play game that leads to far better future installments.

    I have played the game after playing the 2nd one, but it still held up very well. It's a brilliant adventure game with a good balance of story and action. It is linear, but takes us for a great adventure. The graphics were amazing at the time and although there were a few hick ups, the controls played very well.

    This game is great, game play is fun and the story was interesting. Gun play is great in this game, and has aged pretty well. Puzzles, while a little bit annoying, are manageable and are much better than Tomb Raiders. Some parts are a little frustrating, especially when they're a lot of enemies or one of them has a turret. But, overall, great game.

    É notório como o primeiro Uncharted envelheceu mal, ainda mais visto oq eu foi feito com a saga até mesmo no PS3, rendendo um GOTY com Among Thieves, entretanto não deixa de ser uma introdução satisfatória a uma saga épica.

    Even with all the reservations, the time of the release of the game, crooked fights and bad acrobatics, the game is clearly good even now and holds the level as in the fourth part. Great game, great story, disgusting final boss, LOL

    Проходил ремастер на ПС4 впервые сейчас, спустя 13 лет после выхода оригинальной игры, и рекомендовать её другим игрокам я бы не стал, проверку временем эта игра скорее не прошла, избалованному сегодняшними играми человеку здесь будет слишком неудобно стрелять, укрываться, и выполнять какие-либо действия, связанные с паркуром.     Um verdadeiro jogão,pelas gameplays no yt eu não me interessei muito pelo game,mas após joga-lo pela primeira vez eu me encantei pelo game,a história é muito boa, os personagens são marcantes, combate bem formulado e etc... Mal vejo a hora de jogar o 2 e o 3, estou jogando a versão remasterizada.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Great start of a fantastic franchise. Outstanding graphics for it's time, great story, good characters, phenomenal soundtrack and a lot of fun puzzles made it one of the best games i've ever played. So the game starts really good, letting us know who's Nathan Drake and what's his past. Intro is well made starting from Elena's camera perspective then switching to Nathan Drake fighting with pirates. Prologue also stated what's the main plot point of the game - Nate and his companions trying to find El Dorado fighting for it with main villains: Gabriel Roman, Atoq Navarro and Drake's old friend Eddy Raja. The pacing of the game is pretty good changing from slow, walking chapters where you mainly solve puzzles, or the faster ones with action, set pieces and fights. Altough the pacing gets corrupted with a lot of unnecessary enemy encounter's which were pretty frustrating on everyone's first playthrough. And that probably the worst thing in this game, because everything besides that is at least fine. The puzzles were fun but kinda boring after some time, because you basically had the solution in your notebook for more than a half of all the puzzles. The gameplay in this game is meh. The aiming mechanics weren't the best, the enemy encounter's which i already pointed out are pretty annoying and a lot of gamebreaking bugs and glitches (which for me is fine, because i'm a speedrunner, but for normal walkthroughs it's bad). The enviroment and locations are pretty repetitive, because the game takes place mostly on one island which is just a giant jungle, although the soundtrack makes it less worse, because as in Uncharted 3 it matches the climate. The game is pretty short with about 7-9 hours of gameplay, but the game is fun overall so it didn't really bother me that much, because there was a sequel shortly after the first games release. But no matter the gameplay and other frustrating stuff we still have to appreciate that this game is the first entry in one of the best franchise's in whole gaming history. It told the story of these characters really well, and they did it even better in the sequels.… Expand

    Intro cutscene promises great things, unfortunately at some point it turns into a cover based shooter. The newer Uncharted or Tomb Raider games are much better alternatives.

    This game is complete garbage. I have no idea why anyone related this game so highly. The mechanics are terrible as well for the game play and **** story telling. I strongly advise NOT TO BUY THIS GAME.

    Not worth playing. These game is pretty much an action movie, where your actions are limited and repetitive. I can´t count how many times I have pressed triangle to open a door, look for a box to jump on, or watched how the character does all sorts of trickery without me even interacting.

The game shows us an really cool cast of characters as well as an interesting storyline about the treasure hunt of Nathan Drake and his friends with an cool (but repetitive) gameplay.     Для 2007 года графика потрясающая, я даже несколько раз пользовался фото-режимом. Персонажи живые, хорошие шутки, забавные ситуации, чувствуется химия между ними. Создатели использовали захват движений, поэтому    "Лучше поздно, чем никогда" - так я думал, заходя в эту игру в 2020 году. Заодно задаваясь вопросом: "Прошла ли она проверку временем?".... И да, и нет. Но обо всём по порядку.

    Для 2007 года графика потрясающая, я даже несколько раз пользовался фото-режимом. Персонажи живые, хорошие шутки, забавные ситуации, чувствуется химия между ними. Создатели использовали захват движений, поэтому вся анимация плавная и правдивая. По нынешним меркам сюжет простой, да и сама игра очень короткая, но не менее увлекательная. У меня ушло чуть больше 6 часов на полное прохождение.

    При этом играл на стандартном уровне сложности, и мне пришлось попотеть, особенно в последней миссии. Я даже боюсь представить, что там на высоком и выше уровнях сложности. Перестрелки реалистичные, враги умные, постоянно перемещаются, прячутся в укрытиях. Стоит высунуться из-за угла, как в тебе появятся дырки от пуль.

    Причём игра не всегда понимает, за какой угол ты хочешь спрятаться, на какой выступ прыгнуть, кривая камера также доставляет проблемы. QTE работает криво, появляется резко, временами не успеваешь среагировать, а если успеваешь, игра не засчитывает.

    Для знакомства со всей серией Uncharted, рекомендую сыграть в неё, но на низком уровне сложности, обязательно с оригинальной озвучкой, с русскими субтитрами.

    Naughty dog - прекрасный разработчик, который держит высокую планку качества. А в нынешнее время тяжело найти таких создателей. "Это, как искать жениха в борделе"    … Expand

    Great entry to the series. It feels just like a Hollywood action film. Characters are great and the plot is interesting. My only complaints are that the controls can be a bit funny and the enemy AI can be really strange and annoying. Otherwise a great game that you should play.

    I ended up the game with a smile on my face.

    These type of games are not my cup of tea, but it can keep you entertain well enough, if you’re into this you’re gonna love it. The game has a good story that actually I think they can easily make a movie out of it, the twist at the end wasn’t expected at all, it turned the game into a different thing.     The start of a great journey. This game was the set up of an amazing story. The combat was great, story great and characters were likable. The entire time I was absorbed into the story, much like all of the games to follow. Games now a days need to follow this guidelines, and make better stories like this for their games. This was a great game from naughty dogs for Sony.

    It's not has good has the rest of the uncharted games but it is fun to play. However the villains are underdeveloped and the plot twist at the end is way to sudden. The rest of the game is pretty good.

    Too many repetitive shootouts in claustrophobic environments with enemies that spawn ad nauseam.
    Set piece moments are dull and clunky.
    Climbing is so streamlined and automatic to where it isn't engaging.
    Characters are charming and dialogue is pretty solid.
    The story is cheesy, but enjoyable.

The invisible walls were prominent and felt out of place, the graphics was rubbish, the shooting was one of the worst I've ever experienced and the ledges that you're meant to use for traversal stuck out like a sore thumb. The plot epitomised the notion of a "big dumb action game" and I struggled to even find one good thing I could praise about the experience I've had. So if, for whatever reason, in 2019 or beyond, you're still contemplating whether or not you should purchase this game, my answer is "no". No you shouldn't. If, like me, you only wanted to play through Uncharted 1-3, in order to get a better grasp of background for the much acclaimed Uncharted 4, my advice would be that you save your time and money, and watch a couple of YouTube summaries instead. This was an utter waste of my time and I can say, with no shame, that I've already re-sold my physical copy of the shop where I got this from in the first place.… Expand

    I didn't hate this game, but I didn't find what everyone highlighted, it is a game with a boring plot, cliche, an excuse for the gameplay, which is repetitive until tired, and an excess of chapters that do not advance the plot, or stand out in its gameplay.

    Drake's Fortune is not a bad game by any stretch of the imagination, though it is not an amazing game either. The game has great characters and voice acting, but awkward gun controls, repetitive gameplay and a forgettable villain keep this game from getting a higher rating. As the first game in the series though, I can't be too harsh on it.

    Uncharted 1 überzeugt mit epischen Gameplay, tollen Filmsequenzen und realistischer grafik. Der grund warum ich nur 9 punkte geb ist das es find ich zuviele shooter passagen und zu wenige kletter und rätselpassagen gibt. Aber dennoch ein klasse shooter den ich jedem empfehlen kann

I played this game on playstation 4 and i don't have anything to complain about the graphics. The story is also good. Its not bad but it isn't also anything great. Gameplay is fun and intense, also it has these iconic "uncharted" moments what are pretty unrealistic but epic as hell.
    Then the negative parts of the game. Game has really broken cover system. It ruined many parts of the game for me beacuse my character wouldn't want to take cover where i wanted it to. Then there is no sneaking in this game. Even if you try to sneak the game doesn't let you and the enemies will immediatly spot you and start shootting at you. I'm big fan of stealth games so it was dissapointing for me. But if you don't like stealth games its like made for you. Linear action with epic moments. Even the close combat system feels really boring and forced. At least the shootting feels pretty good. The game is also pretty short. I played it in like 8-10 hours and there is no replay value if you are not a trophy hunter, perfectionist of a true lover of the game.
    Even tough all of these negative things i enjoyed my playtrough and would recommend it to all people who like intense linear action or cinematic games.

    I finally finished this game and I got to say, this game honestly isn't that great. There are a lot of problems I have with it, namely that there is way too many gunfights and not enough exploration.

The Major setback for me is the non stop repetitive gameplay. The game does not mix up the style almost ever and I got very sick of just shooting the same enemy over and over again without really any story change.     its fun and challenging at least for me. a little one dimensional most missions boil down to climb here shoot an enemy and a cut scene. i cant say i was bored with it though i had my fun. its not long enough for you to get bored and it keeps a steady pace nothing special but just dumb fun

    The story has this Indiana Jones feeling to it. You are searching for the legendary treasure of El Dorado. I love the characters. Every one of them is charming in likable.
    Why so low then? There is too much shooting. Especially at the end, you will have to slaughter your way through the countless hordes of the enemies. It has two issues: 1. It is hard to believe that Nathan is the good guy if he murders so many people. 2. It gets boring.    … Expand

    Fantastic game. The controls are tight, gunfights are fun, and exploring is awesome. The mixture of shooting along with adventuring makes the game into something fun to just pick up and play. The story is interesting with good twists so you never feel too comfortable.

    Played through the remastered version and it has a really great story and good voice acting, while the rest is pretty bad. It hasn't aged well in most aspects of the game. I've heard that this is the worst one so hopefully the others are better!

    I really enjoyed this game back when it came out. It got a lot of criticism for being derivative but I don't think it's much more derivative than many other games. It was a fantastic adventure. The characters, beautiful island jungle setting, and narrative were extremely well done. Especially for the time.     There are several extremely arbitrary "do this or else" forced deaths in the climbing sections (one spot kills you if you do a 10 foot drop instead of take down a hard-to-see and glitchy rope), the jetski driving    The story is corny but gripping in the first 90%, the art design is top-notch, and the simple gameplay is easy to drop into - but holy hell this game has NOT aged well.

    There are several extremely arbitrary "do this or else" forced deaths in the climbing sections (one spot kills you if you do a 10 foot drop instead of take down a hard-to-see and glitchy rope), the jetski driving sections are ATROCIOUS, and many of the canned animations can glitch out your character into a frozen T-posed mannequin who can't move or do anything.

    Worst of all, the end of the game contains a large plot twist that is... *incredibly* stupid. I won't spoil it, but the drop in quality in the final few levels is just unreal, and I even found myself saying "This is SO BAD" out loud several times. Slog through it, and the end of the game is still very rewarding and worthwhile... Just, try and pretend that twist never happened.

    In spite of its flaws, this is the kind of game I would have loved to pieces when I was younger, and even though I'm only playing it just now, I'm definitely enjoying the experience. I can absolutely see why it was groundbreaking 11 years ago - the animations and voice acting are leagues ahead of most modern games - but at the same time, it absolutely, thoroughly feels like it comes from the mid-2000s both for better and for worse.    … Expand

Pretty easy to master for the Platinum trophy though 2 or 3 trophies are pretty hardcore :)

    All in All, for me this game is just absolutely great and amazing and I definitely recommend every1 that want to start the adventure with Drake to start from the first game as its just a must have and must finish the game in order to have 100% fun from other 2 parts of Drake's journey. Don't listen to trolls that say that the game is bad. The game is marvellous. Trust me and check it out. You won't regret a single minute sitting in front of a TV and enjoying the spectacular adventure.    … Expand

    The final sum is far greater than the individual parts. Maybe you don't dig the combat or maybe the pop-in gets you down, but the overall package of an endearing story, outstanding score, great performances and fun gameplay should put this title on the top of your holiday wishlist.

    This game is one of the most immersive gaming experiences I've had this year, and it's definitely a great reason to own a PS3. The mix of platforming and gunplay worked really well and left me craving the next title in the series.

    By starting with a great control and camera system, building on that with excellent combat and a wonderful spin on Ico's platform adventuring, and then topping it off with a decent storyline, Naughty Dog has cooked up one of the most relentlessly entertaining, fat-free games to emerge in ages. Topped off with the most stunning use of the PS3's underused technical prowess yet, Uncharted: Drake's Fortune is, for my money, the first must-have PlayStation 3 title.
