    ADVENTURE ADVENTURE ADVENTURE!!!This game is wonderful at all aspects. It has an amazing story line. The cut scenes were good. An overall score of about 9.0. Could have been better in the story, it had dragged a lot towards the end. The last 5 chapters were all based on Sully. The shooting scenes were a lot. Anyways, there was Adventure, RPG , Action and historical. Caves , puzzles was aADVENTURE ADVENTURE ADVENTURE!!!This game is wonderful at all aspects. It has an amazing story line.     Definitely the game where I put the most hours into in my entire life. The story was good but not as great as uncharted 2. Graphics, voice acting and soundtrack are all outstanding. The gameplay is almost the same but feels slightly fluid, but the gunplay feels a bit stiff. The best part would be the multiplayer aspect. The multiplayer and co-op are LEGENDARY! SOO fun and addicting and IDefinitely the game where I put the most hours into in my entire life. The story was good but not as great as uncharted 2. Graphics, voice acting and soundtrack are all outstanding. The gameplay is almost the same but feels slightly fluid, but the gunplay feels a bit stiff. The best part would be the multiplayer aspect. The multiplayer and co-op are LEGENDARY! SOO fun and addicting and I put a good 500 hours into it. Great variety of game modes and maps. This proved that Naughty Dog are capable at making fantastic multiplayer games too. Its sad that the only servers ahave closed and getting a remaster of this multiplayer would be a miracle.… Expand

    An excellent follow up sequel to this outstanding series. This will keep you wanting for more... Just unfortunate that the next in the series is a PS4 release only... oh well!

The combat system is now more fluent, and melee combat is more refined. The action set pieces are more crazy and better than ever in this explosive third installment.     An amazing continuation of the Nathan Drake series. While it does not quite live up to the polish of Among Thieves, it is still undeniably awesome. Great graphics, a great story, amazing set pieces, and fun gameplay make this a must have.

    A good game that feels too similar to it's predecessor. The story was enjoyable, but it didn't offer up anything else new to push it to the 9 or 10 level for me. Everything is still great, it just played like Uncharted 2.5. If you liked Uncharted 2, definitely check this out. Just don't get too excited for it.

    Uncharted 3 is the simplest and boring part of a series. Reason for that same as well as Uncharted: The Lost Legacy - key employees of Naughty Dog were occupied with other project. And it is very much felt from first minutes. The plot is fragmentary, a lot of things move as is, without preliminary history. The 3rd part a big step backwards, in comparison with an improbable 2nd part. HereUncharted 3 is the simplest and boring part of a series. Here only 1 new thing - abrupt level with the falling plane in the desert. In 2 parts of such episodes there was 3-4. Still not bad told about Drake's history in the childhood. And all the rest already was, and there passed 2 years after release 2 parts. Yes it is still Uncharted, and therefore an adventure game, not having analogs. And the 3rd part it is possible to forgive only because people who had to do it worked on Last of Us. As for a remaster for PS4, it turned out the most insignificant, owing to age of a game.… Expand

    I have played the remastered version on PS4, which I guess is anyway similar to the original one.

    It has been some years since I played the first two Uncharted, but I think I still remember them well enough to know Uncharted 3 is the worst of the three, while still being a very good game.     The storyline is not as as cohesive as it used to, and it gives the impression of being a mere excuse for offering the gameplay. In addition, I have not liked the fact that you do not to the desert till the last chapters of the game; this should not happen, taking into account the desert is precisely the cover of the game! The previous chapters are OK in general, but almost never brilliant; and the puzzles are extremely boring and tedious to me.

    Still, it would be unfair not to give this game an 8 or a 9, since gameplay is fantastic as always and almost no game has better graphics than Uncharted.

    However, any of the first three Uncharted games (which are the ones I have played up to the moment) can be considered a top-quality game in my opinion. As I usually say, a masterpiece needs more than just a very good gameplay and an Indiana Jones-like storyline; it needs truly idiosyncratic art and a more memorable storyline. Once I beat an Uncharted game, I always have that feeling of having played a great video game, but which will not leave a mark on me.    … Expand

I like Marlow and Talbot as villains, but their mysterious nature is never revealed clearly beyond being a ancient order.     The visuals are still as impressive as ever. Still using 30fps, but still maintaining without much drop. It pretty much is 2 just in a different setting. Still great voice acting, good set pieces, barebones story, solid gunplay and cover and nothing really raises the bar. That's fine because the second was pretty good for what it was and playing it safe after achieving massive success from 2 was a smart move for Naughty Dog. I like Cutter in this game alot because he feels like the fan who gets to guest star in one of Nathan's adventures. The voice actor really nails his British accent and mannerisms.

    The biggest issue I have now for the Uncharted series is not having the balls to kill off characters. In a scene where Cutter could easily have died by Marlow and her men, he instead just jumps and breaks his leg instead. Even when Sullivan gets shot in the exotic city, it was merely a hallucination by Nate when he drinks the djinn-corrupted water. The dialogue and delivery really makes the player feel like Nate is in over his head and should stop before something bad happens. Having this and bait the player into thinking someone will die and not follow through is incredibly ****

    Uncharted 3 is definitely a blast to play and I would recommend people to check it out if you like a big dumb action movie. It's plot sucks, but its acting and setpieces are definitely fun to watch. The pirate ship, airship and cargo truck/horse trek is very wonderful to be apart of. The multiplayer is still not that great, but for fans and newcomers it might be a distraction. Very good game in the end.    … Expand

    Following Uncharted 2, Uncharted 3 sort of let me down a little bit. It has some of the grand spectacle of it's predecessor but it lacks the emotional journey. The gameplay is still more fluid (as any sequel should be), yet it didn't amaze me as U2 had. It's about 3 hours shorter than both of the first games and it's easy to see that most of the time, energy, and money that went into thisFollowing Uncharted 2, Uncharted 3 sort of let me down a little bit.     La historia, a la altura de cualquier producción cinematográfica de aventuras, es una nueva vuelta de tuerca al género de los buscadores de tesoros, como Indiana Jones, pero en este caso en el papel de un ladrón; Nathan Drake, su fiel amigo Victor Sullivan, y sus compañeras Chloe Y Elena. Que en esta ocasión irán a buscar un gran tesoro que el corsario Sir Francis Drake dejó en el medio oriente medio oculto entre vagas notas en diarios y pistas casi difuminadas en el tiempo.
    Jugablemente es lo mismo de siempre, exploración de entornos para buscar los característicos tesoros de la saga, combate en forma de shooter en 3ª persona con coberturas (muy al estilo de Gears of War), resolución de puzzles para poder avanzar y tambien una parte importante de plataformeo. El resultado es un juego espectacular en todos los aspectos, muy entretenido y de una calidad soberbia.
    Totalmente recomendado. En este caso lo he jugado en su versión remasterizada, en un juego que podéis encontrar en la colección greatest hits de playstation y que incluye las tres primeras entregas con algunos añadidos interesantes, amén del lavado de cara técnico.    … Expand

    Naughty Dog once again delivers a unique cinematic experience that has no equal. With superb graphics, unbelievable set-pieces, superb story telling and great characters, Uncharted 3 is a genre-defining game. Next time though, we'd like to see better shooting mechanics.

The 3rd biggest knock is that part of the story starts feeling contrived and as unbelievable as a Michael Bay movie.

The game seems to be inspired by "Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade" since it focuses on the relationship between Nate and his father figure Sully. Naughty Dog added more multiplayer options to this installment"Uncharted 3" is better than the first, but not as good as the second. It has less shootouts and scripted events than its predecessor, but certainly more chase sequences. The game seems to be inspired by "Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade" since it focuses on the relationship between Nate and his father figure Sully. Naughty Dog added more multiplayer options to this installment including a horde mode and co-op missions. While the story is great, the gameplay suffers a bit from some repetition.     As always, the graphics are great and the gameplay is smooth as f*ck. The only thing that bothered me is that the Desert Eagle wasn't featured anymore, which is not a big deal but I missed that gun.

    Great Game. Coop-Mode is really nice and a good addition to the Uncharted-Series. Story and Online are good but in my opinion Uncharted 2 is still a bit better.

    Another amazing Uncharted installment. Heart pounding gameplay on intense moments from shooting enemies to fighting them hand-to-hand combat. They significantly improved the hand-to-hand combat with this game. A must-have game for PS owners!
    Unfortunately antagonist weren't as amazing as the previous one but they're definitely still good. Uncharted 2 set the bar too high

    One of the greatest PS3 games ever IMO. Love the character synopsis and the plot that goes with it. Great graphics and 'that' airplane scene is iconic. Overal great game and well worth checking out.

    Uncharted 3 Drake's Deception is my favorite game on the PS3. It out does Uncharted 2 by a mile, the story is great and the gameplay has been improved yet again, the set pieces in this game are amazing and the multiplayer mode is a lot better than before. This game is a masterpiece 10/10 any day!

    Uncharted 3 is a masterpiece. Not as good as 2, but still very fun. Great game, great graphics, and very realistic gameplay. This game is a must.

    The third part of Uncharted looks great, with more epic sequences than the previous game, however, the story (although it tries to have more weight with flashbacks and more characters) still lacks a certain weight, the gameplay has not been as polished but It keeps working and being very fun. It has some very tedious levels and I think it does not beat the second part.

    Bigger and better than it's predecessor in every way, Drake's Deception brings out the big guns but fails to think of a more interesting story concept than the one that was already used in the previous two games and thus starts feeling a bit predicatble.

    The young drake/sully-background is touching, story wise. I would have liked more of that. As for gameplay, only the second quarter had a peak of annoyances, otherwise it was a flowing experience, with great gunfights giving opportunity for creative solutions.

    De los juegos que te hacen comprar una consola, sin palabras, no me aburro del carismático Drake. Lo he jugado en pleno 2019, la versión Remasterizada de PS4 y es una gozada, ha envejecido muy bien el juego. La historia de 10, la única pega sería el bullet impact sobre los enemigos por decir algo pero perfectamente comprensible para un juego del 2011.

I have to say that this game is still as awesome as in 2011. Love how they finally implemented good close combat system to the game that is still to this day fun and brutal. I just love to replay missions and just beat enemies in close combat, it never gets old! Drake's deception has maybe three times more epic moments than the previous adaptations which includes bar fights, sinking ships and falling planes. Those moments are just best in the series. Soundtrack is incredible and it still gives me goosebumps.
    This game has almost none negative things that really affect the gameplay than movement system being sometimes kinda clunky. But i have to name couple of them. AGAIN the main villain and their story arc is just mediocre. They are just these bad guys without better than mediocre motives. Even the plot feels little bit ripped from the last game with all the lost cities and stuff. Just with a different location moving from snowy mountains to huge deserts. On top of the final act is just like from the last game. Nothing new. Just the same old plot used again. I was going to give this game 9/10 but after writing this review I decided that it's closer to 8 than 9
    I fully recommend Uncharted 3 to all action/adventure game fans and if you played the first two you have to play this too to complete the trilogy

    Great game but I consider it less than "among thieves" and " A thief's end " This game was so messy and suffered from a lot of problems :
    -The plot wasn't as good as the 2nd game ❌
    -The combats were medium, flawful and duplicate❌
    -There's a huge problem with pacing ❌
    -The game's sequence of events is basically just a reproduction of the events of the previous one and that was so ovbious❌
    -There were some issues with the gameplay The game was slow-paced in the first half and fast-paced in the 2nd ! ❌
    -The villains did not take enough time to be built and developped or rather they were poorly written ❌ : Marlowe's character was terrible and simply did nothing in the game and in regards of Talbot the writers chose to keep him strange and mysterious hopefully something at the end will be revealed about him but instead nothing happened     … Expand

When you have to shoot someone with bazooka 3x in a raw, throw your controller on a wall and scream from frustration..OK. So I am personally in love with the whole series. No doubt one of the iconic and amazing story lines out there.     The visuals are definitely breathtaking for PS3 console, the story is fascinating and simply awesome. Unfortunately gameplay of Uncharted 3 is not neverending.
    What i love about this game and Uncharted games at all is that "nonstop action".
    Perfect ending of one era. 10/10 game.

    Its a MUSTPLAY game for sure :-)

Good pacing, amazing set pieces, well written characters, constant action, great story and enjoyable gameplay made it a masterpiece for me. I've seen a lot of people complaining about locations always changing after few chapters, but for me it was a good thing, because every area was unique and we could explore it and experience it in very different ways. One of the best thing in the game for me was that Sully was with us nearly through the entire game which is a great thing, because i think he is the best character in the series. And they even made 2 separate chapters telling us and showing how Nate and Victor got along. That's why it was kinda sad when Sully suddenly 'died' because i got really attached to him while playing this game and the prequels, so i got shocked and happy the minute i realised that his 'death' was just Nate's illusion. The villains in this game weren't as good as in the previous games and i totally understand the criticism at those characters, because they left as missed opportunities for many people including me, although they still weren't the worst villains in he series for me. And i forgot to mention the soundtrack. It is the best in the series without a doubt, It is very climatic and matches the enviroment you are currently in. As for the gameplay, it felt pretty enjoyable and smooth even adding a few more mechanics such as grenade throwback or takedown from above. The singleplayer campaign even had my favourite weapon in the franchise which is G-MAL, which a lot of people hated i don't know why. I'm gonna admit that AI in this game was pretty clunky, but every Uncharted has this problem when you don't play on harder difficulties. Also i gotta include voice cast
    which did an amazing job at Motion Capture for this game and their voice acting was just perfect, especially Richard McGonagle's. Also i want to thank Amy Hennig for making this beautiful franchise.    … Expand

But is probably just me.     I think this entry in the series is a bit underrated within the fandom of Uncharted. I really like it almost as much as Uncharted2. Obviously Uncharted 2 did some crazy things for the first time.. and this one certainly doesn't make any huge jumps.. but still has some of the most memorable set pieces in the whole series.

    This game has only two minuses:
    1. Kinda too short ending. I felt like it ended up too easy and the fight against final boss seemed too easy and short, not like regular fights against final boss.
    2. Too many understatements between 2nd and 3rd part, for example what happened between Nathan and Elena.
    Besides these two aspects, the game was perfect.

    Great game, like all Uncharted series. Controls, action and the spirit of adventure.. it's all there.

    Uncharted 3: Drake´s Deception is a dignified successor to its nearly perfect predecessor. Everything from visuals to story and atmosphere is breathtaking. While the second Uncharted is still the better game, you can´t go wrong with buying this one. Precious!

    I like the fact that the events are in the desert It was fantastic.
    The story is good as always.

    The characterisations by the actors is second to none and even though this tall-tale takes you to fantastical places and events, the script is never once unbelievable. You never feel like an outsider. If anything, you'll feel right at home, ensconced in the constant drama of this loveable cast of returning reprobates and reprehensible villains. [Dec 2011, p60]

    Only a few camera troubles stopped us from giving Drake's Deception the highest rating. Uncharted 3 is without doubt the best PS3 exclusive game of this year. [Dec 2011]
