    One of the best game in the history of gaming .Its an epic and unique adventure with drake .The multiplayer is even better with more stuff to do .Clearly a must own

    The best game of 2011,everything in uncharted 3 is improvement over uncharted 2 graphics(OMG),gameplay,story,set pieces,multiplayer so i see no reason not to give it a 10/10.
    This game is a masterpiece in what it does and the best and most balanced game in the series,the plane/desert sequence is easily one of the best and most memorable moments in gaming period!     It is hard to chose which game is better uncharted 2 or 3 , both are an excellent experiences from the start to the end , both are recommended for every1 , but i might have to say that the multiplayer in uncharted 3 is better than in uncharted 2 , dont get me wrong thou both games excels in multiplayer but uncharted 3 shows the ultimate multiplayer experience while uncharted 2 shows theIt is hard to chose which game is better uncharted 2 or 3 , both are an excellent experiences from the start to the end , both are recommended for every1 , but i might have to say that the multiplayer in uncharted 3 is better than in uncharted 2 , dont get me wrong thou both games excels in multiplayer but uncharted 3 shows the ultimate multiplayer experience while uncharted 2 shows the best story line experience ,

    Uncharted 3 is the final chapter for drake. The beginning of the game was slow and steady . But at last all the story came together at once , making the game full of mystery and excitement.
    Another wonderful masterpiece after Un2 , Best game ever !!!!!

    Uncharted 3 is an amazing game. It is with action, puzzles and with an interesting story. The technical graphics are great. But, you need more to explore, than to kill, and that is really good. One of the greatest PS3 game ever (9.5)

    Uncharted 3 is a great game from visuals to story and gameplay, it is amazing. The game mixes platforming 3rd person shooting and puzzles together and they work very well i love just being on top of this giant destroyed ship grabbing on to the side and shooting enemies with my handgun and ascending, i love basically all the missions in this game. I was surprised as well when i figured outUncharted 3 is a great game from visuals to story and gameplay, it is amazing.     Stunning game once again from Naughty Dog. The MP was a big improvement from uncharted 2. The campaign had its fair share of hiccups compared to Uncharted 2 but was still miles better than other games on the market.

    Great Game.

    Awesome graphics, story, sound... its like a movie, but you know, its a movie ... you dont have a lot of actions to do in the game.

    The game is not so different than the second part, so you can´t be amazed like the other game, so its a great game, but its more than the second part.

    One of the best video games ever made. That pretty much sums this up. Uncharted 2 we pure greatness, with Uncharted 3 the developers perfected the formula that made Uncharted 2 so good. There is never a dull moment here, the game flows perfectly from start to finish. Graphics, Sound and the Multiplayer are all top notch and round up this game to be the masterpiece it is.

    This game is nearly flawless. Split screen online is great. The main story is great. The graphics, voice acting and music are fantastic and the replay value is through the roof with the multiplayer. The only critics I have is that I wasn't as blown away as I was with Among Theives. Still phenomenal though.

    best game on ps3 by a long shot... This is a game so close to perfection.. wish i could give it 11 out of 10.. cant see why others rate it so badly but thats there opinion. i love the uncharted series and this is the icing on a damn fine cake.

    After recently playing Uncharted 2 again, i went into Uncharted 3 with high hopes, but in the back of my mind i knew it wouldn't be a huge leap forward for the series. And while my mind was correct, it in no way meant this was going badly, this was going really well.

I feel the people giving this game negative reviews are just trying to keep the overall score down, who knows why, if i don't like a game, i simply steer clear of it. The graphics of course are pretty much the best you'll find on a console, everything looks gorgeous, and Naughty Dog's attention to detail is staggering, really cementing them as one of the foremost AAA developers in the business. The music too works very well, the main menu theme a joy to hum along to while the action loads up.
    Characters get a little more depth too, and the story does seem more personal this time around but don't expect a Shakespearean level of development. It works to keep the action going, and the set pieces coming. The action is a little more subtle than Among Thieves, but there's always a lot happening so it never feels that way, until you weigh them both against each other. And of course, the multiplayer this time certainly feels much more complete. Not to take away from the last offering, but this seems to get it all right.
    Co-Op especially is a joy to play, while challenging at the same time. All in all it's a good follow up to the stellar Among Thieves, however, Naughty Dog raised the bar so much in their second offering, it was always going to be difficult to better it, and i think Drake's Deception just falls short of that. It's certainly not a bad game, it's fantastic, just.. not as good as it's last offering. And i think that is why everyone is moaning about the scores, Uncharted 3 doesn't do much new, but it does what it does brilliantly, like any true sequel. If this came before Among Thieves, i believe this would be the game sitting at 96 metascore.    … Expand

    Incredible game, in my opinion better than the 2nd one. After beating it I said to myself "that was awesome", mostly because of the set pieces like the boat, cargo plane and desert levels. The multiplayer is a blast, you can really see that ND worked hard on it, though I must admit that the melee system is hard to get accustomed to, but after playing a few matches you realize that it'sIncredible game, in my opinion better than the 2nd one.     The greatest videogame experience i have ever had, it even rivals the best hollywood action movies, and the best part is that you are doing all crazy stuff yourself! Add in there a robust, accessible, fun and deep mutiplayer and you got yourself the most complete game in history!

    This game was action packed. I had no problem with the hand to hand combat this time around. The shooting was also excellent. Also, the multiplayer is as fun as ever with new changes such as creating your own loadout. The voice acting is as good as ever and the soundtrack is unbelievable. If you own a PS3, get this game, you won't be disappointed.

A great happy ending, and a great final boss fight. that leaves wanting more. Multiplayer is the big improvement in the game. its very fun and funny when you own someone and do your pump or thrust (both humping motions) taunt, and is very fun to play with your friends. its also a very simple multiplayer. run, jump, aim, shoot. (you may think of it as a 3rd person Call Of Duty.) and the 3rd person works in this game very VERY well.I recommend this game to anyone to play. the campaign will leave you speechless and the multiplayer is EXTREMELY fun.… Expand

    Everything has been refined from the predecessor, gameplay, story, just everything.

    The Cintamatics were amazing and they blew me away. The puzzles where mind blasting and were quite annoying but I don't give, they were still fun. The Humour in the game was very funny and made me laughing 24/7.

    I would keep on going on about how amazing this game is but it would probably take me an hour to write all of it down. So i say that this is the best game of 2011 and I also that the Metacritic score isn't reall that fair, but we just have to move on and aceept the fact that this game deserves Game Of The Year.    … Expand

    Uncharted 3 is a masterpiece. It's graphically outstanding, really well-written and the gameplay is remarkably fun. Gameplay is mixed with gunplay and clever puzzles. Maybe the gunplay isn't perfect, but It's fun. The missions are interesting, from the objective of the great story. And, multiplayer is addictive and fun. 98 out of 100

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception, the sequel to the very well obtained Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, but was it worth the wait?

    Uncharted was always known for the superb dialogues and great storytelling, especially Uncharted 2: Among Thieves.

    The problem with uncharted 3 starts at the very beginning. A new character gets introduced, where you dont know anything about. In continuation of that, that character is coming with you for like the first half of the game. Also, the way how you create a band with the characters in Uncharted 2 are not found here. Characters that were really important in uncharted 2, are completely dull and empty in Uncharted 3, and the only reason why they are in Uncharted 3 is to create variety. But what does Uncharted 3 do better than uncharted 2.

    in Uncharted 3, it feels like 2 seperate teams work for 1/2 of the game. The first half is completely slow-paced and the dialoques are still very dull. But at some point in the game, there is a twist in the story and thats when it becomes very well. Suprisingly, the dialoques are very good and funny, and the global thrill just goes a gear up.

    The thing with Uncharted 2 was that howlonger you were in the game, the worse the game got (or atleast less), In Uncharted 3, you begin very cliché and slowpaced, but then the twist comes and its non cliché and the pace is going faster.

    Still, I like Uncharted 2: Among Thieves more, because that game was just approaching 'perfection.'

    If you liked 2 then buy it, if you didn't then don't. There is nothing here that will change your mind. It is a sequel, don't complain when a sequel is similar to its predecessor.

That being said every thing els about the game was well done it feels like the Uncharted we know and love . there are new guns lots of fun intense sceanes that get your blood pumping and bring that movie feel in (though again not as strong as U2) . The online also has been improved and is now alot faster to get into a match unlike U2 was . All in all U3 is a great game that every uncharted fan should have and makes me kick myself for waiting as long as i did for getting it .… Expand

    There are a lot of loose ends that dont get tied up in this game. The game was going in an awesome direction but the ending left me wanting more. the graphics and production are top notch. The past two games had a supernatural theme to them and I feel like they tried too hard to try and trick you into thinking thats where they were going again. Great game though

    I kept reading that this was basically just like Uncharted 2. That wouldn't be a huge disappointment since I thought it was the best game made, but that isn't the case. Uncharted 3 takes it to another level. It is now the best game. Great action, puzzles for a break, fun running scenes and a story you just want to keep watching. Perfect 10!

    Best game I ever played it makes Gears 3 look like a steaming pile of $H!T lol

    I loved the story it was so addictive I was hard to leave for work on time, the lighting textures and animations are the best I've seen since Uncharted 2: Among Thieves.

    Stunning, absolutely stunning. A game that blends every element that can be put into a video game perfectly together. It's cinematic, with eye-candy visuals, an unforgettable story, and amazing voice acting. However, Naughty Dog could have made the game play and gun play a little tighter. Otherwise, this game is a straight 10.

People have told me they're put off by how the game is only about 10 hours long but surely quality is more important than quantity? Sure, its not the best but its certainly good. The co-op is great as well. But the reason you should buy this game is for the singleplayer experience.     Naughty dog at it again. The game's single player campaign offers people exactly what they expect from the franchise an a adrenaline pumping action adventure with really nice tight controls. The game mixes Third person shooter cover based system combat with puzzles and platforming, and planned out to nicely break the flow of the game with some lows and highs makes for an amazingNaughty dog at it again. As for the characters this game does go into more background info on drake and sully so if you love those characters then you're in for a treat. The online component is a big improvement over the other game with the co-op modes being the main highlight and very fun. Suffice to say uncharted 3 offers amazing SP and if you still need a fix it has a good online and amazing co-op modes to keep you busy.… Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I know how much the game is loved and how much the series is loved by it's fans. But the truth is I found the game to be very shallow compared to Uncharted 2, which i would give a perfect 10. The characters sort of jump in and out of the story with Chloe and Cutter disappearing and that random Arabic guy near the end. Felt a little bit deus ex (not a reference to the Deus Ex games), and there was no climatic finish like Uncharted 2 where the sap from the Tree of Life is eaten by Lazaravich and the worst comes to worst followed by a great boss battle. In Uncharted 3 the container at the bottom of the well in the City of Brass containing the Djinn is taken care of in a cutscene you had nothing to do with. Bye evil thing that I never saw surfaced. Also that B**ch Marlowe is killed by quicksand and Drake even attempted to SAVE her. I wanted to straight up kill that c**t. Weak and unsatisfying. I will admit that the fight with Talbot as the city collapses was pretty intense as was the chase in Cartagena as young Drake. The graphic are beautiful, no denying that, and as always the voice acting is superb. The gameplay flows really well, with fisticuffs being a real highlight. I also really enjoyed the cruise ship level but it felt weird because there was no reason to have been on the boat. It was irrelevant to the story, a filler, albeit an awesome filler. You got nothing out of the level other than, oh Drake wasted a bunch of time. Overall it was a very good game with a lot of cool aspects and levels, but the end was kind of a let down, and the cruise ship level I wish could have been integrated better into the plot line. I also wish Chloe and Cutter were in the game longer and that the Arabic guy wasn't or that you had met him sooner to make him more relevant. The only area the game really suffered was the story (which is very important to me considering I'm not the biggest fan of multiplayer), mainly from the time the Djinn get sent back down into the well to the end, which had nothing on the showdown with Lazaravich. In the words of Mega64 sometimes games are just okay. They don't all need a 9 or 10.… Expand

    I never give games a ten but this is it, a perfect 10. If you thought Uncharted 2 couldn't be bettered, well, think again! Everything about this game has improved since the last iteration, everything. You will miss out on one of the best games of all time if you don't play this. Take a standing ovation Naughty Dog, you deserve it.

Instead of using Nathan Drake and Victor Sullivan to tell the story of El Dorado, the Tree of Life, or whatever they're seeking (trying to make this review as spoiler-free as possible, which is hard), they use the treasure as a way to explain the back story of Drake and Sully's relationship. In Uncharted 3, you learn about Drake's past-- how he got into adventuring, how he obtained the ring, and a whole lot more. The problem with this is that the overall story of the game takes a beating. Naughty Dog seems to have sacrificed story in order to fit in more back story. Now, everything story-wise "works": The enemies' motivation is clear, the explanation makes sense, and so on, but it all feels very lackluster, which is weird for an Uncharted game, and there are some lapses in logic and reason that will more than likely make you say "Wait... what?" after you've thought about it for a few minutes. Graphically speaking, it's still Uncharted (meaning its absolutely gorgeous in every way, shape, and form).The climbing and platforming sections are all fun, and I only had a few places where I got truly stumped. The combat has gotten a major boost in the fisticuffs department-- Uncharted 3 now allows you to use the environment around you in your fights, which is INCREDIBLY fun to do. The shooting is still the same, in that you point at things you want dead and pull the trigger. The difficulty of combat is something that needs to be discussed, however. There were some skirmishes where I was absolutely getting devastated over and over because I couldn't get everyone, but it always felt fair. The final battle, on the other hand, was way too easy. The final battles of Uncharted 1 and 2 were both controller-throwing hard, especially at higher difficulties. Uncharted 3's final battle was so easy that it was a real disappointment. As a side note, I should probably mention this was the buggiest Uncharted game I've played. Every once in a while a cinematic scene wouldn't trigger correctly, and I would be stuck in limbo, which broke the flow quite severely at times. But the one thing that really costs itself points is loose ends. People who have played and completed the game may very well know exactly what I mean-- there are about four or five major things that are hinted at and brought attention to, but are never resolved. I expect (or at least hope) that these questions will be answered in DLC, but I'm a little disappointed, since no other Uncharted game required DLC to get the full story. All in all, the game is a solid 8.5/10. Better than Uncharted 1, but just can't live up to the glory that is Uncharted 2.… Expand

    Usually when you mention the words movie and game in the same sentence, it isn't a good thing. But, for the first time (at least for me) a game managed to have great gameplay and a great storyline.

    Seriously this and batman are the front runners for game of the year. This game is perfect and greatly improved on some multiplayer faults from the previous game. Not normally my style and I said i wouldn't buy it, but once i rented it, i just might give them 70$ for it

    A step down from Uncharted 2. While overall the game is good, the controls are jumpy and at times the enemies seem to be unaffected by bullets which leads to a lot of frustrating moments. Also personally, I didn't think that the story was as interesting as Uncharted 2. On the plus side melee combat is a lot more fun and multiplayer is still great.

I have been taking breaks from the game becasue I dont want the game to end, its that good! The more I play it, the more shocked I get in how epic it is! from the rough seas, to the desert crash! The Game takes obvious traits from Indiana Jones and the last cruisade in many ways, but that just adds on to the epicness that Naughty Dog have put into another masterpiece.     Simply put, this game is just.....amazing. My family got me some games for my birthday (GT5, BF3, and this one) and I beat BF3, started playing GT5, and just now recently picked this one up. I don't know why it took me so long to get around to start playing it, but I wish I would have done it sooner. I started it, and I could not put it down. I just beat the game, and while I thought itSimply put, this game is just.....amazing.     A fantastic game from start to finish. The multiplayer and campaign are both a lot of fun and the aesthetics for the environments are exceptional. I'd suggest every gamer to own a copy of this masterpiece and share in one of video games greatest achievements to this point.

The last several Tomb Raider games were universally panned by critics but this game really reminds me a lot of a Tomb Raider game and the same critics are giving it universal acclaim. Here is how I see it: the developers threw in parts of Tomb Raider (puzzle solving/concept), Gears of War (with the duck and cover shooting tactics). Prince of Persia for the platforming, Batman for the melee (counter punches). The result is a very polished finished product, but I feel like I have been there and done that before. The computer AI is pretty silly from time to time and there are certain points of the game where you will be confronted by wave after wave of regenerating enemies until you hit a predetermined checkpoint. I am at the ship portion of the campaign right now so I can't say that I have seen the entire game, but based on what I have played it's not a groundbreaking experience. As of yet I have not tried the online content. I was a huge fan of the previous games in the series and I had extremely high expectations. I am not disappointed, but like I said, it's a very good, not great game. The people that are giving it extremely low scores really can't justify the negativity so I would take them with a grain of salt. If you like the series you will enjoy this game. If you are expecting something revolutionary, you probably aren't going to find it here.… Expand

Uncharted 3 has the failure of lingering on cinematic drama rather than creating a game that has good character development and lasting appeal. The game starts off interestingly, but continually gets more and more mundane until about the 12th chapter. The game picks up for a while, but I found the last 2 chapters greatly unsatisfactory. The penultimate chapter was, in my opinion, just terrible and weird. The boss fight fell flat with little difficulty and seemed to be merely added last minute as if Naughty Dog had realized that they had forgotten one and just spliced it in. The ending I thought was cheesy and a disappointing end to the game. However, Uncharted 3 takes some things that made Uncharted 2 special to still make it somewhat fun to the player. It still provides fun shootouts, and platforming segments although they are sub-par when compared to the previous game. The multiplayer was great and really like the advancements that were made from Uncharted 2. While little difference in game types from the UC2, there are enough profile options, kickbacks, and boosters to set it above its epic prequel. Uncharted 3 isn't all bad with enough of the same mechanics from Uncharted 2, but its mundane pacing, storyline, and characters make it far from perfect. I like Uncharted 2 better than Uncharted 3 in almost every aspect. Unless you have a need for split-screen, or enjoy multiplayer much more than campaign, I would advise you to pick up Uncharted 2 as I believe the single player to be better than Uncharted 3 in nearly every way . Naughty Dog has crafted a less than stellar sequel to the seemingly perfect Uncharted 2, and fails to measure up to its superior predecessor.… Expand

If you haven't played any then do yourself the favor and buy the dual pack and then this one. You will not regret a single penny. I expect this game and Dark Souls to win the bulk of the GOTY awards.… Expand

There's lots of references to the previous adventures that you will appreciate.

    Naughty Dog really went all out on Uncharted 3 and it shows with it's drool-inducing graphics which has raise the bar once again in the gaming industry. The amount of detail is staggering to say the least and you will be truly immerse in this fictional world. Animations like Drake touching the wall when close or just collapsing on the ground due to physical exhausting is so realistic and refreshing. In-game textures are phenomenal along with weather and particle effects not to mention amazing physics, lighting, shadowing implementation. There are set pieces in the game that will make your jaw drop and pause to look at the breathtaking mind-blowing environments. Naughty Dog's Uncharted 3 has manage to surpass Uncharted 2's visuals which I thought was not possible.

    The sound of Uncharted 3 is nothing short of stellar and helps set the tone perfectly for this latest entry especially with headphones on. In fact, the sound is so good, I mistaken some of the sound effects for actual real life sounds which that has never happened to me before. I am more than impressed with the voice over work and each character is not only believable but relatable as well. There's instances where Drake says what you're thinking in the game (in my case that is) and it really adds to the experience. The dialog is hilarious and witty which does a fine job of easing the tension and believe me, the action is intense.

    Aiming is fine though I had difficulties getting headshots but that is most likely do due me not having the best accuracy. Platforming can be a pain especially when you go for a long jump just to plummet to your death but it won't ruin your experience. Enemies are way more intelligent now and will actually find ways to surprise you with a bullet in your head from out of nowhere. The hand-to-hand combat is amazing and you might find yourself using it more than guns but guns are still very effective. Puzzles are challenging and really get you thinking but not too difficult to halt you for months.

    Aside from campaign mode, Uncharted 3 offers online co-op which even includes an additional bonus story and totally revamped the online multiplayer mode. Now you can create a character and insignia to your liking but limits you in what you can do. For example, you can only create male characters which left me a little disappointed as I rather create women. The new features like kickbacks and moving set pieces may receive mix reactions but I find it refreshing and a welcome change. Expect to be frustrated because you are often matched with players who are for more skilled with better weapons, boosters, and kickbacks. -The Breakdown-

    This game was fantastic. I have been a Drake fan from the start and this game made the series even better. Naughty Dog displays its good showcasing of story line and gameplay.

Despite the great Crash the Bandicoot games and the other two works of art that were Uncharted 1 and 2, Uncharted 3 truly is a masterpiece in its own right.     Uncharted 3 is one of the best video game in this century IMO. Only reason it's behind batman in review is, Batman was only reviewed by few amount of people...while Uncharted 3 has more reviewers, but still managed to come on second place.

    Uncharted 3 is simply put an AMAZING game. In fact, I love it so much I will be so happy if they announce an Uncharted 4! This game has upgraded everything from the second game and is worth every single penny of the asking price. A must own game for any PS3 owner. Nathan Drake kicks Indiana Jones' ass

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Another great entry into the franchise, was slightly letdown by the pacing of the story and sheer lack of attention to detail concerning Drake's relationships with the rest of the cast and their part in things.

    Like...who the hell is Cutter? Is anyone ever going to explain how he knows Chloe? Will he ever get with Elena? What else happened while Drake was growing up with Sullivan?

    It felt like the story this time around was very rushed and even the ending was far less exciting than in the previous two games, there wasnt even a setpeice that included a boss fight this time, just a short escape setpeice and thats it, and then the story was over.....again, with very little closure except that you know the villians are gone.

    Since Im not a big fan of the multiplayer (Played UC2 and both UC3 betas) Im not going to really comment on that, I just dont really like the shoddy hit detection and balancing.    … Expand

    Amazing game! One jaw dropping moment after another. The game is fluid, and every chapter has a new and vibrant setting. The shoot out scenes have been getting progressively better every Uncharted Released. Excellent story telling. Must Buy!

For the most part its the "waves" of enemies. I've read before complaints about boss battles, but wave after wave of enemy gets boring. Add to that still more of an on rails feeling, not nearly as bad as Call of Duty or other high end action games, but enough for me to button mash climbing objects or running from point A to B.

    I also wish there were multiple ways to beat puzzles, climb objects, defeat enemies. Give me some more RPG elements that give the game more depth and it would be damn near perfect. Yes, the controls sometimes still feel clunky as well, but if you use the cover system to your advantage and stay patient, it'll work out smooth. Especially with the aiming issue being addressed. And honestly that's it. There are TONS of additional treasures to find that add a smaller open world feeling to the game and a largely expanded multiplayer experience too boot. Other than that it's that good ol' Uncharted feeling, damn near perfected, which is what makes this game so great. While it's certainly not perfect, it's absolutely one of my GOTY contenders and one of the best PlayStation 3 games to date. 9/10    … Expand

    This game is awesome. The story is great, the graphic is the best and the gameplay and melee is just superb. This game deserves the praise it is getting. IGN, a trusted website, doesn't just give out perfect 10's lightly. You are hooked from beginning to end! A must own.

    Incredible. An absolute must buy. If you have never purchased an Uncharted game, then you may want to play the first before attempting this. The graphics are incredible. The controls are as tight as always. The game runs by story, and though there are a few plots that seem to go no where, the focus here is Nathan and Sully. Buy this game!!!!!!!!!

    Awesome game. I have not had the time to play it myself, but I have watched my wife play through most of it and it is like playing through a fun action movie. I did play the multiplayer beta, and it was a lot of fun. Looking forward to playing this some myself when I have some time, and when I can steal it away from my wife!

    1st Mario, then Zelda, then came GTA and Halo. All exceptional junctures in gaming. Presently there's the Uncharted series. Altogether each and every episode (1 - 3) acquire and irresistible fascination. Perfect story telling, pacing, gameplay make each of these irresistible. A true pinnacle of gaming.

    The characterisations by the actors is second to none and even though this tall-tale takes you to fantastical places and events, the script is never once unbelievable.
