This game is lack lustre and feels like it was mad for children. I immediately returned this. They have completly simplified the game and removed to many good features

I don't like it as much as war for cybertron. The game has its moments like the crazy battle at the end with jetfire but most of the game is just going through linear corridors shooting the same enemies and pulling switches to advance to the next corridor. A tale of two games, Transformers: Fall of Cybertron plods through its opening acts only to redeem itself with a strong showing at the end. Plenty of fan service will make series vets smile.

If the vehicles were up to snuff then this would be a game worth celebrating. [Issue#223, p.85]

It's a pity that your enemies can't transform themselves and the game only gets going when it puts you behind the wheel (pun intended) of the sneaky Cliffjumper in a level that feels like a tribute to Uncharted. It even has the same voice actor. [October 2012, p.68]
