Lord of the Rings Conquest succeeds in bringing Tolkien's fans a solid videogame, with intense action and a good representation of battles. But there is a strong difference between playing it multiplayer and single player, less fun than the former. Solo players should think twice the purchase.
  2. We are going to go ahead and declare The Lord of the Rings: Conquest as a great game concept.

Sure the melee and graphics are pretty bad. Gandalf may sound like Santa and Gimli may sound like a pirate. But this game is sill relatively awesome. I like it's music, it depicts locations verry effectively and there are just enough locations and heroes to make every location feel fresh. It has deep beauty that you have to dig to find, but once you have, it will be he golden fruits of your labor. Full Review »

While the game suffers a bit mechanically and technically, no one can deny just how fun this game is.
