Far better than the first release in 2012. They have listened to their fans and tightened up the gameplay somewhat with some real game-making changes. Additionally the physics and graphics allow for more immersive gameplay.
Issues which remain include no ability to choose specific moves from 1st phase play, scrums are long-winded, tackling is one dimensional and still licensing issues.

However great base to hopefully make a 3rd game with further improvements.
Well worth a buy as it is twice as brilliant as EA's version!

Casual egg-chasers who played the predecessor could sidestep this and not miss much. But those of you hard-headed types with ears too cauliflowered to hear our warnings will probably buy it regardless. [August 2013, p77]
