Absolute rubbish. Defective by design. Only works online, To be competitive in a song you need to equip power ups, and they cost coins every time that you play a song. If you lose connection during a song, you don't save your score, don't win any coins and lose the coins that you used to equip the power ups. If you have an existing library of Rock Band tracks you'll dig this. [December 2012, p83]

Playing rock music with plastic instruments is old-fashioned, and that's why Harmonix gives you a Rock Band game that doesn't use these primitive tools. Instead you play notes with your controller and this is surprisingly fun. All instruments are well implemented and the fact that you can play ANY song from the massive Rock Band library is a feat in itself.

Rhythm-action for those with sausage fingers but with a sharp mind. [Issue#223, p.85]
