Most underrated game ever, first off it's a great improvement from Risen 2, each Island now looks unique and they really invite exploration, combat system was also improved and honestly, there are worse combat systems out there on games that get perfect scores (Skyrim hellooo??).
Ps3 version has some heavy fps problems in places but If you can look past that or play it on PC or PS4 you

Ps3 version has some heavy fps problems in places but If you can look past that or play it on PC or PS4 you have a really decent RPG here with an amazing atmosphere, the areas really look handcrafted unlike in games such as AC Black Flag where everything looks like a lazy copy paste job, no real variety. Graphics despite being downgraded when compared to the next gen versions still look better than some late AAA titles that released with a 60$ price tag on ps3 like Dragon Age Inquisition,

It felt genuinely good to not be playing it anymore, and that is a rare thing in games nowadays. [Oct 2014, p.92]

One of the worst ports we've ever played, Risen 3 is a[n] ugly, buggy mess on PS3 that, when added to the awful combat, results in a poor game. [Issue#248, p.72]

Risen 3: Titan Lords disappoints on even the most basic elements, which perhaps with a little more time could've been fixed. It's a shame, because we can tell that deep inside lays a game that tries to offer hundreds of hours of fun. Sadly, though, the only surprising thing about this is that it found its way to the shelves.
