    I liked this game alot as a resident evil fan and wen it first came out I made lots of accounts on here to push it's score up sorry for tricking people I feel bad about it now

    RE: Rev 2, takes everything that was wrong with RE: Rev, and fixes it. What a surprise!

    Gone are the incessant interruptions of the shocking short "episodic" levels and their associated cut-scenes in favor of larger sequenced levels, giving the game a more complete feel, despite the repetitive nature of the level usage (passing through each level twice between characters). It is more    RE: Rev 2, takes everything that was wrong with RE: Rev, and fixes it. What a surprise!

    Gone are the incessant interruptions of the shocking short "episodic" levels and their associated cut-scenes in favor of larger sequenced levels, giving the game a more complete feel, despite the repetitive nature of the level usage (passing through each level twice between characters). It is more akin to RE5 in its layout.

    You're now able to switch between partner characters at will, giving you a significant advantage given the default AI character's near invulnerability and regenerative power, which is a bonus and a detriment, since what is the point of using the main character who is as fragile as glass and consumes ammo. Combined with perks that increase attack speed and damage for secondary weapons, it makes the game almost laughable. The AI is still dumb as bricks, but at least now you can mitigate that somewhat.

    Sadly the weapon upgrading has taken a nosedive. While it is the same as in the previous game, you don' find nearly as many upgrades, and the ones you do find are significantly weaker. I imagine there is a lot of secrets to uncover and find which might address this issue.

    Did I forgot to mention that you can actually run in this one? Gone is the sluggish trudge, and in its place is the option to dash, as well as evade. The controls are adequate and a superior improvement over the previous iteration.

    The plot fairs better as well. Gone are the Cthuluean horrors in favor of zombies of both the RE4/5 and RE1 flavors, tying into the two characters plots nicely. There's far less cheese in the story, and no giant orbiting death lasers. Everything about the story and setting, give the game a more cohesive, traditional survival horror feel.    … Expand

    É um bom game, com destaque para o maravilhoso e divertido modo Raid. A campanha deixa a desejar, e é bem curta também. Os gráficos são bem fracos para 2015. A falta do Co-op na campanha foi uma derrapada em cheio da Capcom. O jogo pode não ser tão bom quanto o primeiro Revelations, mas é bem superior à RE6.

    Revelations 2 is, in my opinion, the best and most well-rounded entry in the past decade, since 4...that's not saying too much, though. It has quite a few problems on the PlayStation 3 but the end result is still a true survival horror game with a good story and a dynamic cast, something that has been lacking in the franchise for ages. There are seemingly loads of plot holes during theRevelations 2 is, in my opinion, the best and most well-rounded entry in the past decade, since 4...that's not saying too much, though. It has quite a few problems on the PlayStation 3 but the end result is still a true survival horror game with a good story and a dynamic cast, something that has been lacking in the franchise for ages. There are seemingly loads of plot holes during the ladder portion unfortunately. Controlling two characters at once is also something that feels truly unique. Just make sure you don't play in split screen co-op. It's absolutely terrible. Stick to controlling both characters in single player, as that's how it's meant to be played.… Expand

    RE Revelations 2 is an alright game. It is fun from start to finish. It has good ideas going for it, but some just land flat on there face. Being player 2 sucks ass, you might as well not even play. You don't get weapons and you do nothing. Sure as Moira you can shine your light at enemies to blind them, but come on. If you plan on getting this game for multiplayer, don't. Other than that,RE Revelations 2 is an alright game. It is fun from start to finish. Other than that, this is a solid title in Resident Evil series because of it's survival horror elements (finally) and great pacing. RE Revelations 2 also has Raid mode return. If you want to play multiplayer, this is the place to go. Raid Mode is more fun than the main game. Overall, RE Revelations 2 is worth it on disk in a year or so when it becomes dirt cheap.… Expand

    A good step from Capcom after the horrible RE6. The only thing that keeps me bugged is the fact that the PS3 version is kind of unpolished and it's too apparent to ignore. I am looking forward to play the PS4 version.

    The Revelations' sequel (which now looks like a sub-saga) was a good experience. It's short, and also feels "poor" audiovisually, however it has some new mechanics that make it a bit special. A cliche story but with some good moments, has a dramatic tone that had not been had since CODE: Veronica, and the gameplay varies according to the characters you use, giving it a fresh touch.The Revelations' sequel (which now looks like a sub-saga) was a good experience. It's short, and also feels "poor" audiovisually, however it has some new mechanics that make it a bit special.
