    Very extensive add-on for the western game, with an enjoyable new scenario, new items and an unbeatable sense of humour. But in comparison to the original game, the story is too simple and the controls in melee combat are annoying.

    Undead zombies to enter the open wild west world? Sounds weird but it works extremely well. There are also mutated animals which are really cool animated. By the way: we couldn't find the unicorn.

    Undead Nightmare completely revises the world of Red Dead redemption. The main quest is funny and really long, and the cooperative multiplayer is a totally new experience for players.

    This is a gold standard expansion, one that's briefer than the GTA IV add-ons, but otherwise just as good. In a happier world, all DLC would give you this much to play with.

    Very few times you can say this about a downloadable content, but with ten hours of one-player campaign, a completely new story, refined graphics and sound and more multiplayer modes, Undead Nightmare is worth every cent it costs.

    Undead Nightmare is an awesome variant of the main story of Red Dead Redemption, that comes for a very cheap price (considering what it has to offer). The single player experience is long and well done, but the real surprise is the new multiplayer mode. The Horde is the most intense and funny multiplayer mode in this game. No doubts about it.

    For £7.99 or 800 Microsoft Points then this is quite the package. Undead Nightmare brings a whole new, chunky single player campaign with all the great Red Dead qualities (and some of its niggles).

    Undead Nightmare is a fairly lengthy DLC pack with a bunch of new features. The story is straightforward and there are not a lot of mission types but the Stranger quests, new weapons, new mounts, and the challenges all add much needed variety. The multiplayer additions are nothing too special but they are appreciated and add a few more hours of fun to the whole experience.

    The add-on can't keep up with its predecessor, but that's certainly no shame. Undead horses, splatter sequences, and many more good ideas make this game great for fans.

    The perfect timing of the release can help overshadow a lot of its flaws. It's great to get back in the saddle with John Marston, but I just wish we had something to do. It devolves to a numbers game, which is quite disheartening.

    Even though this new story could have been a little more varied in its missions, one can only salute, once again, the talent of the studio. Marvelously implemented, and surprisingly adequate when combined with the western theme, this interpretation of the classic zombie myth is both comprehensive and efficient. The gameplay is profoundly (and interestingly) changed, and as usual with Rockstar, the value for price factor remains its strongest selling point.

    I would like to commend Rock Star San Diego for having enough faith in their world to tear it to shreds. It's such a nice, tongue-in-cheek, alternate world that they have created. The actions that take place in the Undead Nightmare Pack are only semi-related to the world of the original storyline. However, there is plenty of room for flexibility which makes the experience so fresh for somebody who has already completed the game.

    The core gameplay remains unchanged. However, I love the aspect of money being irrelevant during the zombie apocalypse. It's all about the ammo. And you're always looking for ways to get it. This makes the game a lot more fun! The story is campy, and very humorous. However, like any good horror film, it manages to mix the horror and humor together that leaves a childlike smile on your face.

    If you were not a fan of the original Red Dead Redemption, but you're a die hard zombie fan...this may be for you. However, you still have to look past the original bugs and clunky controls that we fans have gotten used to by now. (Marston is still a little tough to maneuver precisely). The game is so much fun, though, the flaws can be over looked. A must have for zombie/western fans.    … Full Review »
