Nov 5, 2010This is a must have for anyone who owns Red Dead Redemption. In case you are wondering, yes it is worth it even if you don't play multiplayer.
-
Oct 31, 2010Rockstar delivers more than expected, and truly live up to their company name.
-
Nov 2, 2010In all, Rockstar struck gold by releasing Undead Nightmare.
-
Oct 31, 2010Offering a new element to Red Dead Redemption, one of this year's best titles, Undead Nightmare refreshes everyone's mind on the title right during award season.
-
Nov 7, 2010The complete world of Red Dead Redemption has changed to a world full of zombies and undead creatures. The new short singleplayer is great because of the action and the brilliant atmosphere. Every owner of this game can't miss this DLC.
-
Nov 8, 2010Forget about what you've done during the main game's single player campaign, turn off your suspension of disbelief, and nail those suckers in the head.
-
Nov 11, 2010Very extensive add-on for the western game, with an enjoyable new scenario, new items and an unbeatable sense of humour. But in comparison to the original game, the story is too simple and the controls in melee combat are annoying.
-
Nov 9, 2010Undead zombies to enter the open wild west world? Sounds weird but it works extremely well. There are also mutated animals which are really cool animated. By the way: we couldn't find the unicorn.
-
Nov 1, 2010Undead Nightmare is a thrilling and entertaining addition to one of 2010's biggest games. With an all-new story that introduces zombies to the open-world Wild West, two new multiplayer modes, and more brilliant voice acting and dialogue, this is a must have for any RDR fan.
-
Nov 1, 2010Undead Nightmare is probably the best thing that could happen to Red Dead Redemption. This zombie invasion shows us another side of the Wild West and that side is simply beautiful.
-
Nov 1, 2010This newest addition is easily a must buy for anyone with a copy of Red Dead Redemption. There is tons of fun to be had if you're just "dying" to purge the world of evil or if you're looking to get the best bang for your buck.
-
Oct 28, 2010So much value for a small price. Even those who think that the undead business is annoying should try this one, as Rockstar really delivers something unique and exhilarating to spend your time with.
-
Oct 28, 2010Undead Nightmare completely revises the world of Red Dead redemption. The main quest is funny and really long, and the cooperative multiplayer is a totally new experience for players.
-
Oct 27, 2010This is a gold standard expansion, one that's briefer than the GTA IV add-ons, but otherwise just as good. In a happier world, all DLC would give you this much to play with.
-
Oct 27, 2010Very few times you can say this about a downloadable content, but with ten hours of one-player campaign, a completely new story, refined graphics and sound and more multiplayer modes, Undead Nightmare is worth every cent it costs.
-
Oct 26, 2010Undead Nightmare is an awesome variant of the main story of Red Dead Redemption, that comes for a very cheap price (considering what it has to offer). The single player experience is long and well done, but the real surprise is the new multiplayer mode. The Horde is the most intense and funny multiplayer mode in this game. No doubts about it.
-
Oct 25, 2010For £7.99 or 800 Microsoft Points then this is quite the package. Undead Nightmare brings a whole new, chunky single player campaign with all the great Red Dead qualities (and some of its niggles).
-
Play UKNov 30, 2010There's no doubt that this is top quality content but playing these modes without the main game is not a full experience. Thankfully the price tag makes up for that in a big way. [Issue#199, p.86]
-
Nov 3, 2010Undead Nightmare is a fairly lengthy DLC pack with a bunch of new features. The story is straightforward and there are not a lot of mission types but the Stranger quests, new weapons, new mounts, and the challenges all add much needed variety. The multiplayer additions are nothing too special but they are appreciated and add a few more hours of fun to the whole experience.
-
Oct 27, 2010For $10, anyone who loves Red Dead Redemption or the horror movies should pick this add-on up.
-
Nov 10, 2010The add-on can't keep up with its predecessor, but that's certainly no shame. Undead horses, splatter sequences, and many more good ideas make this game great for fans.
-
PSM3 Magazine UKJan 13, 2011For Wild West virgins, it's an entertaining package, if just shy of an essential purchase. [Jan 2011, p.96]
-
Playstation Official Magazine UKDec 24, 2010Rockstar is the master of horror. [Christmas 2010]
-
Game InformerNov 15, 2010While some of the missions seem uninspired, the fun of Red Dead Redemption is still there. Its colorful characters and fantastic cutscenes are as good as ever, with a wicked sense of humor this time around. [Dec 2010, p.109]
-
Nov 9, 2010A treat to behold for fans of the zombie genre or otherwise, this add-on comes recommended to anyone looking for a macabre twist on the Red Dead formula.
-
Nov 2, 2010Rockstar may be a bit late to the zombie party, but Undead Nightmare is the best piece of DLC yet for one of 2010's best games.
-
Nov 2, 2010The perfect timing of the release can help overshadow a lot of its flaws. It's great to get back in the saddle with John Marston, but I just wish we had something to do. It devolves to a numbers game, which is quite disheartening.
-
Oct 29, 2010Quotation forthcoming.
-
Oct 28, 2010This zombie-themed add-on for Red Dead Redemption is the excuse you've been waiting for to don John Marston's boots again.
-
Oct 26, 2010Even though this new story could have been a little more varied in its missions, one can only salute, once again, the talent of the studio. Marvelously implemented, and surprisingly adequate when combined with the western theme, this interpretation of the classic zombie myth is both comprehensive and efficient. The gameplay is profoundly (and interestingly) changed, and as usual with Rockstar, the value for price factor remains its strongest selling point.
