Another strong entry in the Ratchet series. What little Deadlocked offers is great, but the functioning word is little. Gone is the platforming, gone are the minigames, gone are half the weapons and much more. While it's a fun outing, and a great deal at $9.99 USD, it lacks much of what made the earlier titles so enjoyable. The port is also riddled with issues, including severe framerate drops during heavy action, jittering during cutscenes, models clipping through the camera, through their armor, and even Vox's teeth clipping through his face at one point. Despite these issues, this is still the best way to play Deadlocked. However, if you're looking for a fun platformer, this is not the game you're looking for. Final Score 7.4/10 Expand

Bad port, although it's not the worst I have ever seen. Deadlocked is a great game, the PS3 version on the other hand, has many issues but nothing game-breaking. Cutscenes glitch up involving seeing through characters, eyeballs losing eye color and turning complete white, and sometimes the camera stutters and pans (all during a cutscene, not in game). There are also the slowdowns and stuttering, when enemies build up the game slows down. Thankfully, it isn't as bad but it can happen. The stuttering is very annoying, sometimes in the heat of battle when switching between weapons, it freezes for half a second. It doesn't happen consistently during a large fight but it can get annoying. Again, nothing game breaking for the most part, I only died once so far (I just beat the crusader tournament) due to the slowdowns. I got the game with my new copy of Full Frontal Assault. I think it was given because the game was delayed in North America, so buyer beware if you plan on getting it through Full Frontal Assault, I am not entirely sure about the details. I would only get this version if you are a fan that wants to replay the game with trophies and in widescreen, but 10USD is a bit too much for how botched the port is, considering that you can get the original for less and it will have less issues. The game itself is amazing and probably my third favourite game in the series but the hd port is something else. First the game runs "usually" 60 frames but only killing 3 enemies makes frame drop to 30 or below, and this happens often. The in game cutscenes also jump over a frame every second and it`s distracting as hell. There are also some grafical glitches in the cutscenes. So would I have recomended the hd port of deadlocked? If you for whatever reason can`t get the ps2 version then I guess deadlocked isen`t the worst option but be aware, this is not a hd port done well. Expand

This Ratchet is entertaining and full of action. The storyline is good and there are jokes and funny situations that work well. The problem is that the ps3 has a lot of bugs that break the immersion.
