    A quirky platformer with excellent visuals, an engrossing yet simple plot, entertaining and well written characters and beautiful and inventive level design, let down by sloppy gunplay controls and mechanics and some design oversights. It lacks the open feeling of Insomniacs previous ventures, opting for a more linear method of progression and story telling. The PS3 release makes the transition to HD very smoothly, and aside from a few visual oversights which will have you questioning whether they actually playtested the game before they published it to disc, is a very enjoyable title worthy of your time and wallet.
