  1. If you don't have a big interest in bikes or MotoGP, this isn't for you. There's nothing here for casual bike fans or anyone who might be on the look out for something accessible in the bike racing genre. It's an incredibly solid package, though, and one that fans will get a lot out of.
  2. That said, MotoGP 09/10 is a solid game, it plays well, it looks good and has everything contained in the one package that any fans of motorcycle racing will enjoy.

This is the best MotoGP game by far. [Apr 2010, p.96]
  4. The great ideas present in MotoGP are a good foundation. However, the failure to develop them further is what keeps this game from greatness.

Capcom tries it again with better results, but there is still plenty of room for improvement.
  6. MotoGP 09/10 is a solid, enjoyable racer that manages to capture the feel of charging about a track on a Superbike without being inaccessible to newcomers to the series.

A well-put together, if not very polished effort. [Issue#190, p.71]

The last part wasn’t the best one in the franchise, but Monumental and Capcom are back with a nice arcade kind of racer on every great circuit in the world, completely licensed with all the drivers and motorcycles. You can play a lot of modes and off course a career mode, which is a great part of this new game. Later this year you will also get free downloadable content and that contains the 2010 season.
  9. Moto GP 09/10 isn't the ultimate motorbike-racing real driving experience and it's probably a disappointing game for fans, but it still has three important powers: speed feeling, a complete roster of game modes and accessibility for newcomers.
  10. MotoGP 09/10 is way more interesting than its predecessors. But even an interesting career mode and a good sense of speed can’t help the fact that some players might van the driving to be a bit unrealistic and the online multiplayer is sort off lacking.

You definitely know what you are getting into beforehand, and the improvements in this year’s version definitely make it worth the price of admission.
  12. MotoGP 09/10 is a good example of a fun game with a few pronounced rough edges. These shortcomings shouldn’t put you off.

WOW ... Moto GP 09/10 is not even close to the 08 game in terms of FUN FACTOR.. And if you have played MX vs ATV Reflex it makes Moto GP WOW ... Moto GP 09/10 is not even close to the 08 game in terms of FUN FACTOR.. And if you have played MX vs ATV Reflex it makes Moto GP 09/10 seem dull, boring and impossibly lame to play. Bottom line is that this is my last time buying the Moto GP games, they just don't get better. Capcom and MotoGP need to take a look at MX vs ATV Reflex and see how a moto game should be in terms of quality because what they've produced is grade school ! Full Review »

Cartoony barbie & ken style graphics, no option to change laps (3 LAPS ONLY!!!), no mappable or customizable controls, no hands on the Cartoony barbie & ken style graphics, no option to change laps (3 LAPS ONLY!!!), no mappable or customizable controls, no hands on the handlebars in cockpit view, all bikes sound the same - like a lawnmower...I could go on and on... This is such a huge step back for MotoGP games. Most importantly of all, the bikes do not handle or feel like real motorcycles. For example, feel free to grab an absolute handful of front brake at full lean in the corner...no problem! Lol, not so realistic. Bikes have no suspension, and seem to float on the track...do not feel connected at all. The ONLY reason this gets 1 point is because the 2010 DLC will be free....that is, if you are unlucky enough to own the game. RENT this if in doubt, you will be so turned off of buying it - save your money. Full Review »
