    Average DLC.

PS3 owners get it for free so it's worth giving it a try but don't expect anything special. I think it is best playable in little doses otherwise boredom takes over quickly. The "arcadish" style doesn't really fit, sometimes it's frustratingly hard and it's not story oriented or has to do with the main story in anyway as you should have already guessed. Not an essential

    Not an essential purchase.

    Disappointing DLC.

If you need more stuff to do in Empire City, Mafia II: Jimmy's Vendetta serves its purpose, but it's nothing amazing.

Don't expect a Fifties GTA and you'll come out much happier. [Issue#196, p.84]
  3. Why 2K Czech decided that Mafia II needed DLC that turns the story driven game into an arcade one is unclear. It doesn't fit the gameplay, it doesn't have the controls and Mafia II without a story really isn't anything worthy of your money.
