LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars

An amusing and entertaining game, and a great addition to the series. With the new game modes and game play elements, LSW III is a must have for any fan.

Overall, I really enjoyed LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars. Even if you're not a huge fan of the LEGO titles, it's hard to deny that Traveler's Tales has managed to refine the formula of what makes these games work. Toss in the standard co-op mode, which is always a lot of fun, and you've got a great time-waster on your hands here.

Certainly plenty of fun to play, and the overhauled visuals make it an absolute treat. While some of the puzzles can be borderline obscure, it's not enough to deter both LEGO and Star Wars fans from getting some serious kicks from this game.

In conclusion, Lego Star Wars 3: The Clone Wars was one of the best games I played all year and probably comes in a close third from Dragon Age II and Call of Duty: Black Ops. I needed something less serious and more "fun" and this game was it. As it doesn't take itself too seriously, the developers have made some truly funny moments in the game that had me smiling throughout the game. So what are you waiting for, you might be too old to play with LEGO in real-life but who said anything about video games! Brilliantly addictive!

While the Star Wars heart strings aren't pulled at with the same tenderness as the LEGO Star Wars Complete Saga, there is still plenty of genuine fun and exciting core Star Wars goodness that this is a game any true fan shouldn't miss.

Even with so much of the gameplay clinging to the formula Traveller's Tales created for its first LEGO game, The Clone Wars offers a vastly different experience that captures the best of both of the LEGO and Star Wars licenses. It's easily the best LEGO game to date.

The game's replayability is arguably the greatest in recent gaming history, with so many reasons to keep going back, from the plethora of things to unlock, to the endless things to smash.

LEGO maintains the quality that they have already shown in most previous games. Althought you will encounter only few surprises but in this case this means nothing bad.

One of the best Lego games so far, and the bigger challenge is a nice surprise.

This new LEGO-adventure by Traveller's Tales is unquestionably the best one in the franchise, especially due to visuals and gameplay mechanics.

The fighting itself is the best, most tangible, its ever been, which is essential to the most battle-heavy title in the series since Lego Indiana Jones.

There is just so much content to the game, that players will find themselves inevitably in the middle of a frenzied grab-a-thon.

There's plenty of things to like in LEGO Star Wars III, though some of them might be buried a little too deep for younger players.

For anyone that's played the previous LEGO Star Wars titles or for those that love the animated television series on the Cartoon Network, Lego Star Wars III: The Clone Wars is a fantastic purchase that can be enjoyed by fans of all ages.

It's surprising how Telltale, after so many titles, still shows this kind of ambition, adding tons of new content and brand new ideas to the classic gameplay. On the other hand, it's a real shame that every new piece of gameplay doesn't feel as connected and polished as the good old stuff, resulting in a mixed final product.

LEGO Star Wars III lacks new ideas and a well known movie as its base, making this game seem kind of lackluster in comparison to the old LEGO Star Wars games.

The main problem is that even with the replay value in each level, you probably won't really feel like replaying everything again. Unless you're a true completionist, there's not much of a draw to replaying a level that's essentially the same thing as a number of other stages.

This is still a good and entertaining game, with some cool improvements like split-screen and more diverse situations, but maybe it is not as inspiring as previous versions.

The atmosphere is downright adorable, and the use of the license is excellent. Most importantly, though, the various types of gameplay that the developers have thrown together may not be all that amazing on their own, but the elements work together to create a well-paced, easy to understand game that is good fun for anyone.

The game has some limitations and moments that prevent a fair balance in the conduct of the problems and puzzles. Yet, surely one of the best proposals of Traveller's Tales.

The new installment of the LEGO Star Wars franchise has turned out to be a good game. Every aspect has been improved but you'll often find yourself lost, not knowing what to do because of the unclear mission objectives.

A game that sticks to its roots, for better or for worse. It could be entertaining to the max for fans, but probably won't succeed in pulling in a new audience.

A ridiculous amount of collectibles is distributed all throughout this, and it's enough to keep the most dedicated fans busy for a long time. Unfortunately, those are the only people that will last through it all, since most will be deterred soon after the end of the campaign by the monotonous gameplay, a lackluster 'plot', and somewhat redundant bonus missions.

It seems like TT Games have finally pushed their LEGO series beyond what was capable on the previous console genereation. The third LEGO Star Wars game adds massive battles and a welcome RTS-like element to some missions, while maitaining the brilliant co-op gameplay the series is famous for.

The Clone Wars offers an ambitious step up from previous games in the series, but a ton of small issues across the board lead to boredom and frustration.

Lego Star Wars III: The Clone Wars is charming to behold but ultimately bland to play. Its workmanlike design emphasises repetition over imagination, quantity over quality, and form over substance.

Somewhere amongst all of the clunky design decisions is the charming style that made the LEGO series so popular. The game just oozes charisma, and as long as you're not banging your head against the wall trying to figure out what to do next, it's solid, lightweight fun (especially when played co-operatively).
