What the hell is this? Where's the amazing story, likable characters, smart puzzles, fast-paced battles, beautiful soundtrack, just right difficulty and tons of side quests that WA3 made me come to expect? I commend Media Vision for trying to innovate, but it just went all wrong. Expand

I have been playing Wild Arms since it's release in 96 (before the Alter Code F remake which i loved) and this installment doesn't sit to well with me. Although a lot argue the story doesn't sync it does, play Wild Arms 3 ( those people have no memory of why Filgaia is decaying) these people waged war on how to restore Filgaia so i think it fits perfectly with continuity.

  1. Wild ARMs 4 seems to be the complete opposite of the standard RPG, as it's the gameplay, not the story, which kept me playing.

Story problems aside, I really enjoyed Wild Arms 4. It is one of my favorite games in the series, just for the gameplay alone.
  3. 60
WA4 is uneven, wavering uncertainly between "totally offbeat" and "utterly trite."
