  1. Another area where Pandora Tomorrow is somewhat of a let down is in the absolute necessity of having to find humans to play with.
  2. Gets a final score of 70 simply because the minor changes to the PS2 version have somewhat lowered the quality of the gameplay experience. A lot of the tension has been forceably removed by the anomalies with the lighting system and for a stealth game, if you don't have tension, you don't have much else left to be going on with.
  3. The bottom line here is that Pandora Tomorrow is a care taker game. A filler. The starters course before the main meal. If you go silly for sneaking or are hungry for hiding in shadows then by all means pick this up and have a quiet, tip toeing blast.
  4. Those who enjoyed the original will again lap up everything this has to offer, but the unconverted will remain as such.

The first game is excellent. Chaos Theory is a masterpiece. But you can tell this was made by different developers. I played the PS2 version and the stealth is completely broken. Areas that look dark are not dark, enemies are apparently omniscient, and it's impossible to get around some guys. The levels are boring too although I will admit I liked the different locales. But the bottom line is this isn't just a bad Splinter Cell. It's one of the worst stealth games I've played. Full Review »

Mercs" mode is highly intact, the single player campaign wasn't translated as well. Yes it's a faithful adaption, but there are auto-saves that pause the action which really breaks the immersion. Like the original "Splinter Cell", this version has been truncated to work on Sony's console. So the levels are missing details and are not as expansive as its Xbox counterpart. The exclusive level to isn't as exciting as the snow level from the first game. Still, the online multiplayer is very impressive. I would rank this with an 8.1 out of 10. Full Review »
