G-MoneyJun 14, 2006A game for people who like the book and want to play the story instead of just killing stuff over and over. Not the best game ever but not the worst either as some have said. A decent, light adventure game not aimed at the hard-core gamer market.

Feb 1, 2018I am a huge lotr fan and i found this enjoyable. Is it the best LOTR game ever? no...not even close but i loved it anyway because it stayed true to the book. I liked it because it was not based on the movie, so i found it more interesting that way.

Oct 28, 2022Really fun game. It did a great job of setting the atmosphere and universe of lord of the rings.

But why Surreal Software decided to make the playing the game such hard work is anyone's guess. [GamesMaster]

The lackluster presentation combined with the clunky and often frustrating gameplay makes Fellowship of the Ring more of a chore to play than anything else.

One boring, predictable and by-the-numbers attempt to cash-in on the popularity of Peter Jacksons movies.
