  1. SRS has a lot of good things going for it, including some solid comtrols and AI, a very good online mode with pink slips and all, and a very open ended racing system.
  2. You can spend hours simply customizing your car, which will please the real tuners out there. The actual gameplay is solid, although the sense of speed and sometimes too realistic handling hurt the game a bit.
  3. A very well made game with great graphics, great customizations, great extras, and good sounds. The only reasons I can see someone not wanting to buy SRS is if A). You hate to see good-looking women dance in front of you, or B). You dislike songs about prison sex and god.

It's big, deep and dripping with rhymes. A few framerate hits aside, it looks good, too, if not a bit excessively neon. [Oct 2004, p.75]
  5. There really is a solid game here – it just that the timing is all off.
  6. Then again, its meant to be a fun racing game not a literary masterpiece so in that respect Street Racing Syndicate does succeed admirably.

First of all,the physics of majority of cars is crap. Most of them handle like on ice, which absolutely ruins everything, not to mention damage repairs and not be able to restart events.
Aside from handling like crap,we are forced to drive those cars because of progression in the career mode, where the AI are a nightmare in certain events.
Then, the soundtrack.Oh my god,it has like 2 good songs, others are even bad sound quality, not to mention that the soundtrack is very, very small ! Not even 20 songs !
The car list is filled with a very small number of cars, where most of them have different editions.
Sure there are the car culture favorites but can they at least handle well ???
The only thing in the game that, obviously the developers cared more about than the cars,AI and physics are the sexy bikini models.
It feels like most of their game budget went down the drain with those girls photo shoots and videos of them dancing.
Street Racing Syndicate wanted to be a racing game of its time when all of those things mentioned above were and today are a huge part of car culture, but at the end its very badly executed.

It's an okay NFS Underground clone, just way too horny tbh. How is this game higher than both NFS Underground games is baffling to say the least.
