    I believe this is going to be the best socom game. There are so many more options on the demo as well as the game itself such as you can have a medic pack and heal yourself when your hurt, you can also have a regular weapon pistol and a grenade launcher (m79) and at-4 or rpg. I cant wait til November 8th.

    Excellent Game! Great Maps! One of the best shooters of all time, if not the best. Online is fantastic with the combination of the Socom 3 maps as well. Co-op play is a step ahead for Socom's online play. There is only one problem with the game though. In a single player campaign, teammates will sometimes get stuck in the environment. This can be frustrating, but it doesn't take Excellent Game! Great Maps! One of the best shooters of all time, if not the best. Online is fantastic with the combination of the Socom 3 maps as well.     This game is the best socom so far. It is the next generation of a navy seals game and will live longer than any other socom game there is.

    Awesome game. There's better graphics, bigger explosions, larger battle fields, and tougher enemy forces to deal with this time around. This game is very addictive, so be forwarned!

    Wow! It has a great combination of stealth and head-to-head battles. It is really realistic because it has enemies surrendering and men not noticing you in the shadows. Probably the best third-person shooter ever!

    Socom Combined Assault is over all one of the best military shooter games i've ever experienced. it has realism to a certain extent, but there are a few edges that could be trimmed. hopefully the new release of confrontation will be more improved.

    Worth it if you are a SOCOM fan. Hard to earn enough badges to get advanced equipment. Still love it. George Bush likes to kill people from his living room chair.

The point of the game is to fire on other armed people who supposedly captured other teamates and oppose you. Elimating the enemies is barely satisyfing. Firing the weapons is only sort-of fun. Today, without online play, a Socom game is only half as good. The server has been shut off for this game. It does have a single player, but it seems the story is barely there. The controls, graphics, and sound are all okay for PS2. The voiceovers and music aren't as good as Socom II's. Neither is the sense of urgency of the missions. The epic scale is gone. The level design is more undefined than previous games, as are enemy positions. Enemy AI is quite good. Lots of times you will get fired upon and not know where the enemy is. The open maps can make the game more difficult than it should be, as well as the kickback of the weapons makes the controls too hard. Sniping should have been easier so you could pick up and play this one. Instead you die often enough you won't want to play it. You are supposed to become a hero, but its an average game that won't stand the test of time, and its a pretty sad cash in on war and what was popular in video games.… Expand

    the worst socom I've ever played, the controls and interface are the same as the 3 but the artificial intelligence of both the enemies and your squad are horrible, apart from the visual bugs that To be so silly and funny. Socom 3 puts this game to suck No, and I wonder why it was the last one released on the PS2

    It’s not that Combined Assault is hard. It’s more like the game is very impolite, barely introducing itself to new players. The control and game interface are showing their age, too. They weren’t very good even back when the first SOCOM came out. It’s probably time to rethink the way this game plays.
