Like its predecessor, won't go down in history as any kind of a classic, but it does offer enough thrills and spills to keep most players interested through to the end.

The game does offer much more than the previous game did however there is nothing especially new, which we would expect.

Essentially, it’s the original Smuggler’s Run, but with video clips included.

Some of the time limits are so tight, and one tiny mistake is all it may take to send you back to the beginning, gnashing your teeth in frustration.

Although it makes some effort to disguise the fact that it's just a textured mesh over which you constantly travel from A to B for no good reason, the game never truly manages to convince.

When taken into consideration against Rockstar Games’ other major holiday release, "Grand Theft Auto 3," though, the repetitive nature of Smuggler’s Run 2 almost makes it not worth mentioning.
