    The idea is extremely interesting, but the execution is flawed. The game is actually boring, and aware of it. It's a risky way to approach a game, and the mistakes are obvious. Still, a very good game.

Разработчики убрали загадки, сделали коридорные локации, тем самым убрав то, что многие фанаты SH(в том числе и я) любили в этой серии. Даже с точки зрения survival horror игра очень сильно уступает предыдущим частям. Плюсы игры это-сюжет, первая половина игры и боёвка.Унылый, душный и казуальный Silent hill.     Мне игра очень нравилась, до того момента, когда локации нужно проходить 2 раз. В этом моменте игра проседает: мало событий, унылость и душность. Но эти 8 часов из 12 были просто прекрасны.

    Just play it. its so fun and The story is one of the best stories I've ever seen in a horror game. the way they set up the mystery seems very well thought out to me. but i can understand people saying it was exactly the same as the other games in the trilogy.     by far the worst silent hill game, if anyone plays this as their first SH game, they want to never play one again. Gladly i saved this one up for last, and i will never touch this again
    My god what a boring slog with an obivous plot, awful escort gameplay, re used levels with comeplete brainfart puzzles, i hope no one has to play this crap ever

    Se que este juego no iba a ser un silent hill en un primer comienzo pero sin dudas tendría el mismo exito si no lo fuera ya que la magia del team silent esta presente en todo momento tanto en su atmósfera como en la historia.

    The last good game in the series. While it has one of the best stories of Silent Hill contains errors in the gameplay that for the fourth installment should no longer have as a rough and unpolished control and sections that end up becoming repetitive.

    Well So I Spent An Hour Of Gaming And Most Of The Time It Was Cutscenes That Were Kind Of Long Also I Played On The PS2 And I Found The Gameplay So-so But Also The Game Has Its Horror

    Actually really enjoyed this one. I may prefer the first 3 thought but 4 really was something. I don't hate it but it's not a game i'd kill to play all the time.

    This game is not like other silent hill games. I am a real fan of this series but this game is not good. I always finish the games but i can't finish this one. The gameplay is extremely bad. I bored too many times and take many breaks. You need to do same things over and over again.     Didn't think I'd be writing that, but Silent Hill 4 is my favorite SH since the 2nd one.

    What won me over is how unique and lightly experimental it is compared to the previous ones. The concept of Henry locked in an ever-changing apartment fascinates me. It messes with your sense of safety, because if the protagonist isn't safe in his own house, anything else can happen. This makes SH4    Didn't think I'd be writing that, but Silent Hill 4 is my favorite SH since the 2nd one.

    What won me over is how unique and lightly experimental it is compared to the previous ones. The concept of Henry locked in an ever-changing apartment fascinates me. It messes with your sense of safety, because if the protagonist isn't safe in his own house, anything else can happen. This makes SH4 one of the most disturbing and intriguing out of the 4, even if it's not the scariest.

    I also prefer the focus on melee combat instead of puzzle solving. It does take away the dreadful sense of exploration that the others have, but it makes up for being its own consistent thing. And with it, comes a touch up in the combat sytem. I mean, it's still not perfect and, quite frankly, dated, but it's the best one. Even the camera works a little better. Pack that up with great visuals and some disgusting enemy designs and you have a very creepy challenge ahead of you.

    The story is also great!
    Definitely not better than 2 and might not be as horrifying as 1, but I love how the mystery slowly unfolds. The pacing feels just right, characters are memorable, there's an eerie sound to the voice acting, the main villain is good and the pay off felt satisfying, in most of the 4 endings you can get. The tone set by your interactions inside the room and the frightening things happening outside of it helps a lot in building up tension and curiosity. The only thing I did not enjoy so much was Henry, but you get used to him.

    And I won't even take too much time talking about how The Room handles sound. I've said it before in past reviews and I'll just say it again: Akira Yamaoka is a god! If it wasn't for him, I don't think Silent Hill would've been as memorable as it is and this is not different in this game. Again, the best one since 2.

    I do have to point out a few things that I definitely agree in relation to this game's negative criticism. And that's the 2nd half of it.

    I was not happy when I figured out that a lot of things changed when Eileen comes into play. As I played, I figured out that it isn't horrible to deal with her, but depending on the type of player you are, she can ruin your journey, because she is an unquestionable nuisance. Protecting her can be challenging even on easy, especially when you enter rooms filled with ghosts. I don't understand why the devs turned the game into a giant escort mission.

    The 2nd half aso brings hauntings into Henry's room. And while I did find the concept very engaging, it got old soon and some of them can be very frustating if you do not correctly manage your items.

    There's also the fact that the inventory just sucks. It is unapologetically bad. Some items are useless, the way it handles ammo and guns makes no sense, you can't discard items and it encourages mindless backtracking, which can totally break immersion. And the level design just doesn't help, since it's mostly linear, with some rooms FILLED with enemies. And this is coming from someone who actually prefers linear games.

    I really don't understand why the devs made such weird decisions about how the final half of the game would roll. But while it could have ruined the experience for me, it just didn't. I could not dislike Silent Hill 4. In fact, it became my 2nd favorite out of the ones that I played.

    If you have a chance, play Silent Hill 4. Especially if you're a horror fan.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Я ожидал большего от этой игры. Минусов у игры немало, начну с управления. После первых трёх частей оно непривычно. Если во второй и третьей можно было менять тип управления с 2D на 3D, то здесь, к сожалению, нет такой возможности. Я понимаю, что тип 3D устаревший, и сейчас наверное не найти современную игру с подобным управлением. Типом 2D удобно было бы управлять, если бы в игре сделали камеру из-за плеча, то есть от 3-его лица. Но с фиксированной камерой это просто издевательство какое-то. Даже в финале игры, где камера постоянно перескакивает то на Айлин, то на Генри, я постоянно бежал не в ту сторону, такого бы не случилось на управлении 3D, так как герой бы бежал относительно головы, а не вертящейся из стороны в сторону камеры. Также неудобно теперь менять угол обзора. Теперь про саму игру. Очень сильно разочаровало отсутствие фонарика и радио, которые придавали атмосферу в первых трёх играх. Теперь нужно постоянно искать дырки в стенах, чтобы сложить своё снаряжение в сундук, ведь инвентарь теперь ограничен. Сделали бы хотя бы возможность выкинуть предмет из инвентаря, как например сломанную клюшку, но нет носи с собой, чтобы потом положить в сундук сломанный предмет, который всю игру будет мешать. Непонятно для меня зачем нужно было делать по 10 патронов на 1 место в инвентаре?! Вот это уже полный бред как по мне. Один из главных минусов игры - это то, что игра ни разу мне не показалась страшной. Даже монстры нестрашные, а только смех вызывают. Огромные мухи, обезьяны, рыгающие переростки пациенты, двухглавые чучела, бессмертные призраки, разве что собаки могут показаться страшными в этой игре. А избегать противников теперь нельзя, если хотите хорошую концовку, что было наоборот в 3-ей части. Ведь во второй части игры у нас появляется спутница Айлин, которая всегда будет выбешивать, которую нужно защищать от врагов и всё время ждать, так как если быстро пробежать до двери, она видимо потеряет меня из виду, и не догадается пройти в дверь без моего сопровождения. Вновь мы будет проходить те же локации, что и первую половину игры, но уже с ней. Естественно, я прошёл на худшую концовку. Сюжет в игре мне показался более менее неплохим, но естественно хуже, чем в первых трёх частях. Я сам не могу отнести её к основной серии игр. Игра и вправду имеет минимальное отношение к Silent hill. Кое-как связали сюжет с культом и показали озеро Толука, чтобы хоть как-нибудь можно было понять, что игра относится к серии. В самом городе мы так и не побываем. После прохождения даже желания не появляется в неё вернуться. Я ставлю игре 6/10 только за уважение к серии игр и за музыку Акиры Ямаоки, так я бы поставил 4/10.… Expand

    A truly disturbing dark horror. The story unfolds really slowly (and probably the game is too long) but it is deep and great. Walter Sullivan is one of the best antagonists of all video games.

    The environment and monsters are really scary. The control and some game mechanics are uncomfortable or annoying but it is part of the plan: make the player feel miserable. Thanks to the industry trying it hardest to push away the OG gaming fans, for a new woke , diverse, audience.. After SH4s reception Konami gave the franchise to American studios, who absolutely butchered the frachise, creating not only bad SH games but some of the worst games in general.. SH 4 has stood the test of time and is much more appreciated today..
    The game itself definently has a new feel for the franchise, there the fps perspective and a hub world. But that core japanese horror feel is in tact and its very good in terms of exploration combat ,etc. To this day its one of my favorite horror games.    … Expand

    прошёл только на Halloween 2020 на PCSX2 1.6 . Игра довольно страшная . Загадки не простые , смотрел гайд . На первом месте у меня вторая часть , эта же на втором . Сюжет здесь наверно самый интересный и страшный .

    O game honra a trilogia original da melhor forma possível, é diferente mas perfeito em tudo que tenta mostrar, principalmente no fator horror, que pra mim, é o melhor da franquia nesse quesito. Sem contar na história que agrega ainda mais ao jogo, só achei alguns monstros meio genéricos, mas todavia, é um game maravilhoso e merece sim seu lugar entre os melhores Silent hill.

    NOT SILENT HILL. This is the start of the death of the Silent Hill series. Linear story, backwards controls, and is not scary. Long frequest cut scenes get old quick. Do yourself a favor if you MUST play this one and just YouTube the cutscene movie. It's no wonder this is the last game by the original creators. Resident Evil 7, this is not.

    este es mi silent hill favorito, se que no es el mejor de la saga pero me encanta todo lo que es su historia, si bien el prota henry es... como decirlo un poco tosco? si con eso me quedo, no puedo negar que despues de este nunca volveria a ser lo mismo, bueno no se puede cambiar el pasado aun sigo con la esperanza que salga algo bueno de silent hill, ponte las pilas KONAMI

    El ultimo gran juego del Team Silent, esta vez innovo de una manera agradable su juego metiendo una historia de la cual nadie se lo esperaba, la historia de Walter Sullivan un personaje del cual se hablaba en notas y coleccionables de anteriores juegos, esta vez el juego transcurre tanto en Silent Hill como en otra ciudad, este juego nos mete en una atmósfera pesada y mas paranormal, conEl ultimo gran juego del Team Silent, esta vez innovo de una manera agradable su juego metiendo una historia de la cual nadie se lo esperaba, la historia de Walter Sullivan un personaje del cual se hablaba en notas y coleccionables de anteriores juegos, esta vez el juego transcurre tanto en Silent Hill como en otra ciudad, este juego nos mete en una atmósfera pesada y mas paranormal, con un toque siniestro y sin perder la esencia de SH, los escenarios a pesar de ser mas iluminados aun nos da esa sensación de inseguridad y miedo ya que esta vez son mas cerrados, el protagonista es muy bueno, es misterioso, tranquilo y todo un galán, los enemigos son perfectos y esta vez con un toque de dificultad y mas agresividad, la historia a pesar de ya no retomar la tercera entrega es excelente y nos deja con un gran sabor y con ganas de mas.

    A lot of the time it actually plays exactly like them, but there is also the room... your room. Its first person here it serves as a hub from which you go to other places, so you need to go back every now and then, but you never know what exactly you will find... that part is sometimes brillant.     The scariest Silent Hill game comes with a great story and amazing concepts but the clunky combat mechanic and early level design almost ruin the game. In my opinion, Silent Hill 4: The Room is still a good Silent Hill and worth to play but you need very much tolerance.

    Amazing game, it´s true that the more action in the game wasn´t the best decision, but anyway the game is awesome, the history i think is the second best of the serie. This game for me is the third best silent hill

    Если субъективно, то в плане истории и общей атмосферы это мой любимый Сайлент Хилл, а если объективно... Из игры в игру разработчики всё больше и больше забивают болт на создание локаций. Теперь не то что коридоры, так вообще Сайлент Хилла в игре нет. Пожалуй единственная поистине крутая локация так это сама квартира ГГ, в которую игроку придётся возвращаться на протяжении всей игры.Если субъективно, то в плане истории и общей атмосферы это мой любимый Сайлент Хилл, а если объективно... Из игры в игру разработчики всё больше и больше забивают болт на создание локаций. Теперь не то что коридоры, так вообще Сайлент Хилла в игре нет. Пожалуй единственная поистине крутая локация так это сама квартира ГГ, в которую игроку придётся возвращаться на протяжении всей игры. Графон в сравнении с 3м Сайлентом просел, особенно на ПК версии, поэтому рекомендую играть на ps2. Что ещё может оттолкнуть, так это вторая половина игры, которая невероятно скучна. Что по поводу плюсов, так это по настоящему интригующая история. В сравнении с предыдущими играми Зе Рум прям выделяется крепким, несложным сюжетом. Само повествование в лучших традициях серии, как и саундтрек. Как хоррор Зе Рум добротный, любителям страшилок зайдёт, опять же игра прекрасно справляется и без скримеров. Даже если вам не по душе оказались истории первых 3х оригинальных игр, но вы любитель крепких и интригующих сюжетов без соплей, то Зе Рум может оказаться вам по душе. Фанаты серии, как обычно, играйте в Зе Рум, не оглядываясь на предыдущие игры.… Expand

    Enormously underrated silent hill masterpiece, this game for silent hill fans depended on real horror instead of psychological horror but still mastered it.
    Monsters diversity and the difficulty is nicely done and even the room details such as first person view and the wall monsters always freaked me out.
    Deserves an 80% or more for sure..

Escorting a helpless chick is annoying enough but, to top it off, there is an arbitrary limit of 10 items to be carried and (for crying out loud, why can't I drop or discard items?),I had the impression that Silent Hill 4: The Room would be the best in the franchise by a great margin, given how positively different it is, but the game becomes a drag to finish from the second half onward. Escorting a helpless chick is annoying enough but, to top it off, there is an arbitrary limit of 10 items to be carried and (for crying out loud, why can't I drop or discard items?), the more I return to the apartment, more likely it is to be haunted (random events). The developers wanted the player to return to the apartment every now and then to interact with objects in order to advance in the dream world, but punishing us at the same time is too much. To make the experience a bit less frustrating, the PC version got 6 of the haunting types removed. Of course, the game has good things. Animations, combat system and graphics are too ahead of the previous games. For example, the very first enemy, unless I'm mistaken, is a "dog", and it in fact behaves like a real one. If the protagonist acts like a prey, the dogs run and jump towards him like there's no tomorrow, what does not happen if Henry assumes a defensive stance. The other enemies aren't nearly as intelligent, but it may have been the result of a tight schedule to deliver the game in time. Still, it's a departure from the mindless steel pipe spam. I'm giving the game a score of 9 since it was made in parallel to SH3 by a secondary team which took a lot of risks in innovating what the older games set. However, while I think they took the right direction for most of the things, they apparently didn't know what to do with the game after the first half.… Expand

Almost all these games by the way love psychological horror and the scary idea that you never are safe. Silent Hill was originally not going to be the title for the game it was just The Room. Then about 10% into the development they changed it to a Silent Hill title. They forced players to survive barely and when things seemed calm they would take away that feeling. Even though it's criticized a lot when i finally got to replay it, i noticed how smooth it ran and loved the first to third person camera. Also all the hidden easter eggs and the realization that dreams in Silent Hill are real and will hurt you in real life. You get to witness your character freak out and you feel the same way. Yes the holes to travel were kind of dumb, but think the whole game went on the idea that anything could be anywhere. You will find areas and things out of place that make you actually appreciate that they purposefully added things in to keep the dream reminder alive. Overall a game that hardcore horror gamers and devs look to now for horror deserves a great review. I love how critics loved it and fans either loved or hated it. All that I know who hated it was due to them never playing old school classic horror games and couldnt get into it because of that and the voice acting. But they all stated how terrified they were though. It shows how bad voice acting but great story telling overall and amazing controls and scares for the time and even to this day hold up!! It also never overstayed it's welcome in an area and would change the locations as the game progressed. Anyone who I know that was old enough to play it back then and hates it still is mostly because they believe it to be repetitive or usually stating that they didn't see how the game was even called a Silent Hill game. Well they are correct. Here's the thing, don't ever look at this game as a Silent Hill game and instead as just another horror game. It suddenly becomes better than any SH game before it. It was different completely back then and was seen as the downfall of Silent Hill. When in reality Resident Evil was being destroyed at least SH doesnt have to look back on over 5 games for the series that are awful. I even enjoyed the game after The Room. So SH never had a downfall when P.T. was released everyone immediately loved it. Unfortunately we will never see another SH game again probably but they showed a type and style of horror that was copied and had mechanics used for tons of other successful games. Also above P.T. is SH 4 because of the scares and true horror. Not because it didn't have flaws but all the things that make the game still easily playable and it runs smooth is what all the other 3 games before it failed on. They had to use fog to cover up graphics which created a great atmosphere but this game has full on amazing graphics especially for the time and a controller button layout that was perfect. Also anyone saying they hate the limited inventory... what?? It let you carry so much as you went back to the apartment often and you can't tell me it's bad when all Res Evil games have a much smaller inventory with more items needed. In SH The Room my items were mostly used up and I was lucky to save any. So I agree it's not like other SH games at all but neither is Res Evil 7 that to me is the best one ever made with 4 being way too highly praised in my opinion as a horror game. But 7 was completely unique. And when I see Silent Hill 4 The Room starting to be on the top ten or top lists of horror games and being above Amnesia and Res Evil 4 it makes me very happy. As it took a long time for many of the greatest horror games to be noticed. And I see a huge cut off when the games had their best games for horror fans but that is the thing. Now people look back at those games for ideas and they are big now because their not games you can easily get through or games with just the same jumpscares over and over etc. Literally I see them as being too different and scary for most people to like at all. Like Fatal Frame 2 and even Clock Tower. This game though beat them to me and I rank it second behind Fatal Frame 2 as the best horror games that are now classics. I would love a remake for them but I don't see it happening. Silent Hill was always influential and never backed down from showing disturbing things to set the tone of this is a true horror experience. We arent just showing a zombie eating someone but truly disturbing things.     Where this game fails are the sections outside of the room. They feel and look exactly like they were cut outs from the previous games. Recycled ideas, just using a new protagonist. The sections/levels that you can travel to feel small and restrictive, kind of disrupting the atmosphere the try to create. Each area does fit to the narrative, just a shame they couldn't have made the transition more seamless.

    Overall:
    Silent Hill 4: The Room doesn't really feel like a Silent Hill game, most of the time. A real shame that the developers didn't show more innovation by pushing more new ideas. SH4 is entertaining and enjoyable, but it also feels a little stale and disjointed most of the time. A pity as it did have potential to be more than it is.    … Expand

The story line, although a bit confusing at times for some, is general good and creative. At some points, the story line can hit even an emotional nerve at times. The reason I am giving it an 8 instead of a 10 is because there were 3 things I found alittle aggravating. One was the fact you had to revisit each level a second time. Yes there were a few changes to each level but for me there were just some levels I really didn't want to revisit. Two was the fact you had to keep a character who follows you safe and keep her from taking alot of damage. It was aggravating because it was real close to being impossible. No matter what you do, she is going to sustain a good amount of damage because there is no way to protect yourself AND her especially when she walks and runs around during a fight. Three was the certain ghosts that you couldn't kill that would follow you around through out the revisited levels. I can't say who the ghosts were without telling a minor spoiler but I can say they were the "special" ghosts per level you revisited. They just would not let up with constant attacks and following you and they were immortal so you couldn't kill them. It was just a cat and mouse constant chase. But despite those minor things, the game was great. Those things are no reason not to play this game and give it credit for being one of the few unique Silent Hills.… Expand

And also i love monster design and some levels here (water prison is genious imho). And, of course, the music. It's smth unbelievable in feelings..though i love most Yamaoka works.     This game employees too many annoying tactics to be enjoyable, invincible enemies that can constantly follow you and hurt you just by being near you wore away at my enthusiasm quickly any ways, puzzles were rare and disappointingly easy. The story line was decent and it's nice that you can experience all the endings on the first play-through. It's a okay game, just okay.

You don't have to like the idea of undefeatable enemies preventing you from lingering in a location for too long, but they are NOT everywhere, not even close. People also frown upon having to visit the dreamworlds (levels, if you like) a second time, but I don't see the problem there, either. Survival horror games always made you run to and fro a location, what's the big difference now just because you go somewhere else in the meantime? The second time, the levels will have changed a little as well. Enough addressing popular attacks towards the game, what do I personally think about it? Overall, I really love it. Graphics on PS2 are pretty good, though slightly worse than SH3 with the characters. On PC, sadly, the graphics look kind of pale and blurry in a lot of places. Sound is top notch as usual for this series. Combat is very interesting. Enemies behave differently and must be approached differently and some weapons are suited better for certain situations than others. The limited inventory gained a lot of hatred, but given the context of the game, namely making you return to the apartment regularly, it makes sense.     Not as scary or psychologically-intense as its predecessors, I must admit, although Silent Hill 4: The Room does offer a decent story and music by Akira Yamaoka to help set the mood. Not a whole lot of puzzles either. But the visuals were very impressive for their time. Controls were also pretty solid. Worth a rent anyway.

SH 3 did almost exactly the same thing than it's predecessors, and was a bit of a letdown for that. Second, the story is better and more interesting and serious by miles.     By far the worst of the Silent Hill series: they use ghosts for the most part, and the few original monsters are lame, especially the one that makes a farting sound when you kill it...the SH series was great because of the creepy monsters, like the deadbabies and crippled zombie nurses and whatever that scary Pyramidhead thing was from SH2...bummer.

    I went into this game expecting to be terrified. But...all I got was alot of tedious backtracking. Repeating levels? That's just sloppy and lazy game design. And to top it all off...I didn't get scared. Silent Hill 3 still remains my fave entry in the series.

    It baffles me that Konami still cannot find even moderately decent voice talent for one of its A-list titles. the voice acting for every silent hill game has been wretched, and this one follows suit. i'm sorry, but that totally pulls me out of the creepy movie vibe and hurts the overall experience - with these crazy stories you NEED to be convinced.

Some of the monsters/ghosts are creepy the first time you see them (which is saying something seeing how you don't encounter them in the dark with a flashlight) but lack the originality of SH2 or SH3 and have seemingly nothing to do with the storyline. The story is a re-hash of "Seven" morphed with "Nightmare on Elm Street" with a main villain who is about as scary as some trendy 20-something actor playing a serial killer in any boring 20-something neo-horror flick (not to mention Henry). Your room is an interesting and engaging concept but doesn't equate to what the spralling town of Silent Hill did for SH1 & SH2. Lastly, there is the soundtrack. Whoever thought to put a weak neo-metal ballad vocalist and a Peter Murphy wanna-be singing the lamest lyrics ever over the soundtrack needs to seriously explore another direction. On the SH3 soundtrack it was annoying and embarrassing, now it just sucks. Konami needs to put "quality" back into this series (no repeating levels, no RE item system) and seriously reconsider the nuances between scary and annoying game play. … Expand

    Great game. I think this is the creepiest SH I have played. There are a lot of changes to the Previous SH games but it still feels like SH. Really cool story, a little improvement in the combat system and great graphics. I would give this game a 10 if it wasn't for the missing flashlight. It would have made this game way better.

    It is what I was waiting for, it really scares me, so if you want to feel the fear in your flesh stop playing resident evil and come to play this one. the most creepy survival horror.

    People say that this is a let-down to all the SH-fans, but I beg to differ. This game is amazing in just about every aspect. The only thing that's not great are the sound effects, which will become quite repetitive after a while. I would've given it a 8, but the extra 2 points are given because team Silent had the guts to do such a different game.

Well, sorry to say but you won't be seeing such a things in this game, only a few sad "turn this wheel twice and you're good to go" things that tries to be a 'puzzles'. So, forget the brainwork. Ok, as everyone probably know, when you're in your own apartment, in the room, the camera is in first person. Well, this is just plain awful. The character turns slowly, is clumsy and I personally think that the field of view is just wrong. It's like walking with a magnifying glass. And well, I have never been a fan of the combination of first person games and a gamepad. Anyway, rest of the game is the good old third person. Except the main character feels more clumsy than in previous games, especially when it comes to the fighting. It's hard to see, if you're close enough to hit the monster with your weapon and usually you're not. Which takes me to the camera. Well, camera has been always a problem in this kinda of games and still is. Except more annoying than in previous SH-games. The camera angles are just plain awful and usually you cannot change the angle and many times you bump into a monster because of the annoying camera. Well, you got a few nice extra moves when fighting, but you really cannot enjoy them because of the stupid camera. Well, atleast the story saves this game a bit. It's nice and weird as always and you get a few "what the f***" thought during the game. Sadly, rest of the game is just plain and boring "run from point a to point b and avoid or kill the monsters on the way". I won't spoil anything, but you'll get the idea after a few hours of playing. Soundtrack and sounds are the usual nice creepy stuff and graphics have improved a bit and the game looks pretty good on the good old ps2. But that doesn't save this being a bad game. They shouldn't have released this. This game will be remembered as a big let down and the death of Silent Hill series.… Expand

    It's starting to look really long in the fang and could use an extended rest at some abandoned sanitarium. Otherwise, the only thing that's going to be scary about these games is the frightening pace Konami churns them out and just how far they've fallen from the original.
