    Don't pass this one up. The story is a little cheesy and the voice acting couldn't be more cliche. However, the gameplay is like Don't pass this one up. Control your mech from the top of a nearby skyscraper or from the ground looking up near its feet. The sense of scale is great and the controls are really fun. I can't stop playing it.… Expand

One thing I would have added would be missions that allow the use of Volgara. I realize that you can use the Volgara in the versus mode, but they should be available for sepearate missions, too. I mostly liked this game because of the feel of having total control over a 40-meter-tall robot. It is a great game.… Expand

    It might be slow and occasionally clunky, the game design might be incredibly 2002, and the voice acting might be too much for human ears to bear, but show me another game that captures the scale of giant robot battles like this one, even among the current generation... nothing.

    Some people complain about it, but to me the real magic is viewing the action from your character's POV instead of having a boring old "God cam." Part of the strategy is finding the best vantage points mid-battle, including standing on your mech's shoulder. This game is what would happen if you smashed together Rock 'em Sock 'em Robots and Cloverfield. Until someone comes along and remixes the concept with today's capabilities, this game is a bona fide all-timer.    … Expand

The robots 'special moves' are just fun to watch, and the controls present a challenging but immersive experience. Didn't play much multiplayer, but the single player experience alone is worth it and the idea of multiplayer is promising if you have a buddy interested in the game.… Expand

What is great is that it feels like your in a real town. I controlled my character and stood in front of a train thinking they wouldn't have bothered programming a reaction....I flew up into the rafters and it was hilarious. This game has hidden detail.
