For football fans looking for an alternative to Madden, QB Club 2002 is far from perfect, but it isn't terrible, especially if you're not interested in a single-player game.
-
Even at the highest difficulty level the game provides little challenge.
-
It plays a decent game of pigskin and isn't exactly harsh on the eyes, but with such clearly superior titles on shelves and on the way, it seems silly to lay your money down for anything but the best.
-
We can't think of a legitimate reason to go out and buy this game. The Quarterback Challenge is admittedly enjoyable, but it doesn't add enough value to the game to make it worthwhile purchase.
-
Clipping is bad, commentary isn't very good, and there are really weird graphical bugs that occur quite frequently while playing.
-
Official U.S. Playstation MagazineThe only thing that makes this PS2 incarnation fun is the Quarterback Challenge. [Nov 2001, p.160]
-
Take away the Quarterback Challenge mode and this game falls down into the hellish pit of inconsequentiality.
