An awesome game for people who love wargames. The graphics are astonishing! And the music makes the fighting even more dramatic. This game will surely end up as a classic for PS2.

I had the chance to play this game at E3 today and was blown away by it, to say the least. The sound is phenomenal. The Omaha Beach landing sequence is as real as you can ask for. A definite must-buy.

Just beat the PC version, now bought the PS2 version. Not as good graphically, but still good and fun. I wish the controls were better (they should market a keyboard and mouse for the PS2, I'd buy it)

Indeed the best game I have ever seen. Every detail is so realistic that makes you think that you'll never stop playing it. Every Nazi is so perfectly created that it is almost a shame that you must take them out.. Thanks to EA

For a bloody old game which has the 3D graphics of a stickman, This game is the best FPS game I and many other have played. You may think im crazy or even on drugs but I am not. I had this for Gamecube and one of my mates had it on ps2 and there is quite a big difference controls wise. Gamecube controls are really hard to aim with and you will find yourself either spraying with a machine gun or attempting to hit the enemy and then resulting in, meleeing them. But despite that you will get that hand of it after the first mission. This game is worth every penny and even though it cost me £10 at the time I would happily have paid £20-£30. The reviews speak for themselves. 10,10,10,10,10,10,10,9,10,10,7,10,10,10,10,10,10,10 and then a 0. And you see that 0 and think that guy is 13 years old and thinks that ww2 games are rubbish because he has played mw3. Well that kid is very very wrong. This game is the game to get and for only like £1 its a bloody bargain. Expand

It may not be up to par with the games of today, but man this game was the **** when it was released. The controls felt perfect and it had an intriguing (and historically correct) storyline. Worth buying if you can find it somewhere.

I have been playing ps2 games since I was a kid, and Medal of Honor Frontline is truly the best. And not only is it the best ps2 game, but also possibly the best shooter I have ever played. The games overall design is splendid. Plus the variety of weapons, diverse levels and great graphics (especially for a game that came out in 2002!!) And last but not least, the soundtrack!! Which is really more like a great movie score due to its epic nature! The soundtrack is probably what makes the game so memorable. It makes you want to go back in time to WW2 and kick some Nazi butt. Simply put, Frontline is the most enjoyable shooter experience I have ever had. And I still enjoy it to this day Expand

This is the game that I have spent my childhood on. I still remember the all the missions and its objectives. This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Medal of Honor: Frontline is not only the best Medal of Honor, but the best FPS. 20 years have passed since its release and no game yet has been able to equal it. Sure, with games like Call of Duty: Vanguard and Battlefield V we can say the World War II games have its days numbered. The plot of the game is just as excellent as the game itself: connected with the first Medal of Honor! And the game has our favourite Medal of Honor character: Jimmy Patterson. Six action-packed missions, from start in Omaha beach (D-Day) to finish in the heart of Germany (The Horten's Nest). I said this in Allied Assault and I will say it in Frontline, the only thing that makes this masterpiece so authentic and epic, apart from the amazing gameplay, it's the geniuses of Steven Spielberg and Michael Giacchino that can make perfection one step ahead. This is absolutely one of the best games I have completed, the story is very good and precise, the difficulty challenging, customizable controls for all ages and without a doubt the best of all are the impressive graphics for the time. I don't regret buying it at all and I'm grateful to have it.

This game is a gem. In addition to the 1st personal shooter you are a part of the historic narrative of world war ii - each stage reveals the allies progress in the war - filled with news reel clips and more. A must play, but replay value once you beat the game is low - NO online play... so it's a rental.

Needs blood. War times without bloodshed....not happening. Other than that, the game rocks. Can't imagine playing on regular television with no Dolby Surround stereo hooked up though...

It bests its predecessors in one key area: Every mission conveys a nail-biting tension that absorbs the player as never before. [June 2002]

Frontline isn't perfect, though. For one thing there are the always-problematic control issues. A console system with its gamepad just can't replicate the tight controls offered by a mouse and keyboard.
  3. Despite its occasional appearances, the game is so incredibly linear it hurts.
