GrapEApr 4, 2006This game is both original and stylish and tries to break free from the mainstream 'safe' genres. Sure, combat can get messy at times, but the tagging element is very innovative. The environments are very atmospheric and gritty and help to immerse the player in the game world. It's not without it's faults, but it should be recommended on it's originality and style alone.

CheaCheaJul 14, 2008Not the best graphics they can make for the game.. Need to try harder on that.. Felt as I am the one in the game so good.. needs to be more realistic.. Average dialogue.. Great story to understand going level to level and up and up.. There should be a free roam where you can tag your own tag name..Overall great game needs better graphics..

Dec 22, 2020Marc Ecko's video game debut is the first only game of its kind. so much street art and music to unlock. the only downside for me is sometimes the audio would bug out and i would be spraying in complete silence...just to hear his breathing/heartbeat. Talib Kweli as the voice of Trane was perfect! just wish there was remaster or a sequel. still free.

#54 Most Discussed PS2 Game of 2006

Luckily, the smooth controls guarantee that all you'll have to worry about is dribbling paint and bumbling cops.
-
Frequent glitches and game engine freak-outs contribute to an overall less-than-mediocre graffiti/fighting/platforming hybrid.

The janky camera makes combat tough during crucial moments and makes things increasingly difficult when you're racing against the clock to lay down an aerosol tag. It makes you wonder if the game would have been better off in first-person view, but on the other hand, you would lose the immersion of being Trane.
