    In my opinion this is the greatest GTA game in the franchise. I loved how massive the State of San Andres everything about this game was fun.

    Audacious! Great plot, full of great and epic dialogues, funny, clever humer, nonsense humor, dark humor, revolutionary, great graphics, great effects, great physics, great animations, a truly master piece, for me the best game in GTA franchise.

    Incredible game, definitely without a doubt the best GTA in the whole franchise. The story the characters all mix for an incredible experience and the map is by far amazing so many different locations to visit and explore.

Empezando por misiones, son tantas que es posible quedarse 1 mes entero terminandolas. La historia es divertida. Los personajes son diferentes y geniales.     I remember this game being quite enjoyable to play as a kid and I once thought that this is was my favourite Grand Theft Auto game. Unfortunately, after replaying this game, I cannot help but feel quite disappointed in much of the game. Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas goes on for far too long and several of its new features such as the stats system are not put to good use. Other than that though, I think it is worth replaying.… Expand

    Wonderful game from start to finish. Great characters, story, controls, graphics, everything about this game is wonderful. Easily the best game ever made on the PS2. Wish Rockstart would up the graphics to release on PSN, but again, best game ever made on PS2.

    Todos os games até agora que avaliei consegui os descrever com minhas palavras, desculpa mas com este eu nao irei conseguir, eu o amo de todo coração fez parte da minha infância mais que todos os outros, tanto no ps2 e no pc aonde eu passava horas jogando MTA e SAMP.

The only thing is when turning off the frame limiter, it goes above monitor refresh rate so screen tears happen. Missions are perfect and incredible. Better than GTA Vice City and GTA 3. You just have to download 4GB of ISO to install and play.

    One of my favorit games on the PS2. I just love this game, the first real open world game in which you could do just about everything your little, criminal heart desired. Unique about this GTA game is that you could even play with two gamers on the same console! Hours and hours of fun blowing stuff up, stealing cars, killing cops and driving over pedestrians! It doesn't get much better than this.

    About Steam version of GTA-SA

    Rockstar’s policy regarding modifications has reached this iconic game, in which modifications, in particular multiplayer mods, are an integral part, have sunk into oblivion. When you try to put a simple mod into the game, get ready for terrible brakes and crashes, but you can not even think about SA: MP and "pure GTA", the license refuses to work. About "compatibility" with Windows10, so you will be lucky if you complete the mission and have time to get saved, without an error window.

    You say, they say there are workarounds, downgrades of the game, replacing .exe and so on.
    And then tell me the mercy of the license, if for a comfortable game, you need to download the left resources.

    I definitely recommend the game, but not the Steam version

Not only did this game give us many of the modern game mechanics that we know and love in our current GTA titles but holds up to today's gameplay mechanics in its own right. So you play as CJ, a former gangster that left San Andreas to start a new life but is brought back into the fold upon the death of his mother. CJ quickly realizes that his family and old gang is in disarray and does what he can to help deal with inner turmoil, rival gangs, and crooked cops.

    Let us start with gameplay mechanics. Rockstar really upped their game with more responsive movements and handling. You really feel like you are in total control of everything you do from driving to aiming. Past GTA entries often had an annoying twitchy feeling making aiming and turning very sudden and unpredictable. You now also have the option to manually aim your weapons other than your sniper rifle. The story itself is very solid and entertaining. You do feel invested in the character and want to see the story to its end. Missions are varied and interesting. One minute your hunting down gangsters in Los Santos and the next you are burning a weed field in the rural countryside. Racing and side missions are also satisfying and varied.

    My biggest issue with the game and that seems to have been worked out in future GTA's is the emptiness of the very large open world. A lot of time and effort was put in to make the map the largest ever but so much of it just feels like its big for the sake of being big. I guess this adds to the sense of realism but can really make going from city to city feel like a chore at times especially since there are no fast travel options. Don't get me wrong the story is good but it did not speak to me in a personal way that the past two titles did and the future two titles did as well.

    There is no doubt this is one of my all-time favorites. If you were to tell me you have to replay one game to its story conclusion this would be a top candidate on my list (but it would be Vice City). This is a classic everyone should play at least once. 9/10 Great.    … Expand

What else is there to say about a 14 year old title? This is a satirical open-world masterpiece that uses "Menace II Society" as its main inspiration. It managed to surpass the previous two PS2 GTA games in content. Featuring three cities based on Los Angeles, San Francisco and Las Vegas, it is a vast epic that has yet to be topped in terms of scope. While certain aspects are a bit crude (graphics, enemy A.I., shooting mechanics, etc.), the game is exceptionally entertaining. It's a hilarious must-play "sandbox" experience for adults.     For me, this was the best GTA game. At the time, the graphics were top notch, and there were many additions like bicycles and stabbing that added to the game. In terms of gameplay, it was the same as the other GTAs but they had territories to claim. I have no idea why they removed the territories from later GTAs, it was an awesome addition to an otherwise monotonous game.

    One of the best PS2-Games ever. First GTA-Title I played and I love nearly every aspect of the game. In the PS2-Version is also a more or less hidden local Multiplayer-Mode.

    Was playing this game the other day and just couldn't help but be amazed at the amount of content it includes. The story by itself is amazing but the open world aspects are just so much fun! This game completely deserves every bit of praise that it has received.

    This game is just bad. You are a criminal in a city and you must kill everyone... WHAT IS THE MEANING OF THIS GAME? It has a very intense violence (thhe most violent game I've ever seen) and it just makes NO SENSE.

    Grand Tine Auto San Andreas is a game not in need of introduction. This is the best-selling game on PlayStation 2 and everyone knows that this game is just one of the best games of all time.

    It has it's flaws, but GTA: SA is by far one of the greatest of its kind, even put up against the latest games in the series. It has its own unique charm that Rockstar perfected.

    Great atmosphere, story, music, big map with variety of landscapes. Very well made characters and quite likable. Story based on real life events and blended in very well into this fictional world. Great content overall. The minus is the graphics because back then there were already open world games with better graphics. The tons and tons of mods are what kept this game alive for years so as the fanbase held multyplayer. Overall a really enjoyable good game.… Expand

    Undoubtedly one of the best games in history and the best game of ps2 for my opinion is a game of 10 from its great history, characters, thematic, atmosphere and an incredibly good living city.

    Recommended 10/10 best ps2 game

    San Andreas follows the trend of 10/10 releases from Rockstar. This game was the biggest to date when it released and easily one of the best games on the system. A must play game.

    One of the best videogames in history. Even today it is still playable and aged amazingly well. This game was such a mindblowing experience backthen which offered so much fun and the replayability is endless.

    Best Grand Theft Auto and best game ever made in my small humble opinion, its that bloody good ! Best missions and most memorable characters. Theres just so many things right about this game. R*'s 1 and only true masterpiece. Grove St 4 LIFE !

    Um dos melhores jogos do ps2, unico defeito é o enredo meio confuso, a historia do game, porem a jogabilidade e a trilha sonora sao otimas, um jogo onde vc escolhe ate estações de radio pra ouvir e muito bom mesmo.

    This is one of my favourite GTA game in the series beside GTA 5. The graphics on my iPad are great for a game from 2004. I'm a huge fan of the GTA series owning GTA LCS, GTA SA, GTA 4 and GTA 5.

    One my favourite ps2 games. Story, missions, cities, cars, weapons, cheats... everything is perfect The only bad is graphics, pc version has better graphics.

    This is best Game on GTA Series and best PS2 Game . On Android and Ios this game deserves 9/10 , but on PS2 and PC this game deserves 10/10 . This game was born in 2005 and this game is very amazing game for 2005 . This game has got normal graphics for 2005 and amazing storyline . This game even better than Grand Theft Auto 5 and in this game city as in GTA 5 . Very good game . 10/10 .

    An all around bloodbath of carnage, dirty deeds, and heinous acts, and an absolute masterpiece all at the same time. Goes down in my books as one of my top 10 games of all-time.

The easter eggs, horse shoes and gang wars all give a big bonus on the entire playtime. Theres also a Co-Op mode, but it isnt very good. First off, its hidden, you dont even know there is a Co-Op mode unless you happen toGrand Theft Auto: San Andreas. Wow, it has been a long time since it came out.     The amount of things to do in the cities of Los Santos, San Fierro, and Las Venturas is absolutely staggering... In my opinion there’s no excuse to not have a “save anywhere” feature included.

    San Andreas's chief advantage over "Vice City" is size. And for many players, that's good enough. But another group of fans will come to quietly understand that, at least for the time being, "Vice City" remains the high point of the GTA series.
