Frequency surprised me. I bought it because I figured it was the next best thing to dance dance revolution, and this game almost supasses DDR. The soundtrack is one of the best ever. The gameplay is some of the most addicting ever. The remix mode is one of the most innovative gameplay features ever. You need to go out right now and buy this game (if u haven't already).

This game lets you get more involved with the music. More then any other dancing game could offer. This is by far the best dancing music game next to it's predecessor, amplitude.

the game is so damn addicting you won't believe it! at first i thought "how could one beat that game at 'normal'? that's so incredibly fast - you can't push THAT quickly". well now i've played through it on expert (incl. all bonus songs) and still play it just out of fun. the songs are so great that even score hunting is fun. this game never stops surprising the game is so damn addicting you won't believe it! at first i thought "how could one beat that game at 'normal'? that's so incredibly fast - you can't push THAT quickly". well now i've played through it on expert (incl. all bonus songs) and still play it just out of fun. the songs are so great that even score hunting is fun. this game never stops surprising you - or rather you'll be surprised by yourself while you're pushing combinations you never thought you could do... and i'm talking of really MAD combinations here ;) Expand

This game is nothing less than amazing... If _ANY_ game has replay value, this is it. Not only that but it's incredibly challenging, fun, and good to impress people with. On top of all that, it's an incredible game by all standards and should not recieve lower than a 9 or 10 on ANYONE's review, if they've actually played it. I originally got this game as a demo on the network adaptor setup disk, after beating the 4 songs of the demo and playing with the remix a couple times, I figured I'd go ahead and buy the full version, it is truly an addictive game, online play is awesome, you can play with people that have a high ping time, and there is hardly any lag. I've played this game way back when it came out and now again in 2021. For any retro lovers Id recommend this game it's rather timeless and well done. The games sequel though, Amplitude, in my opinion is a better game though. Although this game is great it was kicked up a notch in Amplitude. This games track channels were improved in that game as were the general sound effects and I reallyI've played this game way back when it came out and now again in 2021. Overall this is still a very strong game. Expand

It may be a bit too challenging for its own good. [Jan 2002, p.128]
  3. If you don't have the patience or your dedication level doesn't extend past that of the average mule, then you'll probably want to skip out on this game...here's yet another excellent title that'll probably be overlooked by 90% of the gamers out there.
