As is the case with most party games, EyeToy is simplistic at best, but the way you play the game truly makes it a one-of-a-kind experience that just about anyone, regardless of skill, can enjoy.
-
Ignoring all possible future releases, however, the EyeToy is still a worthy investment for someone seeking a completely new gaming experience.

PSM MagazineGreat for parties and provides a very unique experience, but there's not a lot of replay potential for solo players. Still, the concept is definitely exciting. [Nov 2003, p.44]
-
GMR MagazineThe Eye Toy experience suffers from the overall lack of precision one would expect from a game that involves little more than waving your hands in vague motions at your TV, but it's still a bold experiment. [Nov 2003, p.86]
-
Playing EyeToy solo isn't the sort of title that keeps you captivated for the length of time that experienced gamers expect, but it's certainly unique and a good crowd pleaser at gatherings.

-
Good, earnest fun, like being at the county fair, except it's in your own home, its a Webcam, and it's cool.
-
The games are junk, but the EyeToy itself is brillian. Pick it up. [Nov 2003, p.47]
